Nice video👍🏼. I have a 2014. UP simmilar to this one and i am experiencing a high whistleing tone but only during driving in every low ratio gear....and it dissappears when the rpm s increase...have you met this simpto?..it has nothing to do with any belts or crank roles....it s more connected to the hose under the filter connected to ventilation of gas...
Hi, I have Volkswagen Eco Up from 2014 with Cng and Petrol. A few days ago my Cng stopped working, it only runs on petrol now and does not switch to Cng. When i put in my car keys and turn on the car to first switch then you can see it goes to Cng mode but as soon as i start the car it goes back to petrol. Do you know what the problem may be? Kind regards
Hello, i have one vw up 2015 that uses imotion, when i drive while its raining sometimes it starts to fail acelleration, till it dies, after several tries it starts again, and stay normal again. This sensor can be the problem?
Hi doit_vehicles! You mentioned that the PCV valve is the check valve located under the left side of the air filter case and that is connected by a hose to the air filter case. However, this valve, as I have tested by blowing through it, seems to let gases go into the crankcase and not into the air filter case in the direction of the throttle valve and inlet manifold as it would be in a real PCV valve. Could you explain how this valve should actually work? Moreover, in the VW UP ILLUSTRATED PARTS MANUAL, this valve is called retention valve (válvula retención). Thanks in advance!
the " safest" is to improvise a small cuted plastic tube and place it around to keep the clips off and pull the sensor ; or something similar . If not you can fasten the sensor with a screw
@@doit_vehicles Thanks for the quick reply! Do I have to actually remove the clips to take the sensor out? Looks like i just need tu pull the sensor out since on pictures that i have found it looks like there's only an O-ring holding it in place, am i right? I just want to take it out, and clean it.
@aliennn Just in case anyone else has this issue: I also broke the clip on a VW Vento. Fortunately, it’s not a problem because both the sensor and the intake manifold where it’s mounted have holes to put 2 screws that securely hold the sensor in place.
Boa tarde me chamo Rafael sou do Brasil, esse sensor já quebrou 3 vezes no meu up take 14/15 e provavelmente vai quebrar de novo você poderia me informar o pq quebrar tanto e como corrigir esse problema ? Obrigado
Oi ! É impossível alguém dar um veredicto sem fazer alguns testes no carro; Você fez os testes deste vídeo? E quais foram os resultados? Como você sabe que o sensor está quebrado e quais eram os symphtoms? ( Eu usei o Google Tradutor )
🎉 thanks! I broke mine clip also but inserted 2 bolts sensor was clean i just did priventive check.. 😊

Doit I have an obd2 that was working and also of a sudden it stopped working for some reason, that you think could be it ?
So the tool doesn't work or the obd2 port doesn not have power
Which scanner app do you use on your phone? Thanks.
I unfortunately snapped the clip holding in the map sensor, what can I do? The map sensor wouldn’t come out so when I snapped the clip I left it in.
it has holes and you can basically tight and secure it with a bolt ; bad design though ..
@@doit_vehicles are there holes already available to thread into?
As I remember it was just plastic , so you can use a short screw tipe bolt
@@doit_vehicles what size bolt would you recommend?

im wondering the same haha
hey, could I do an Intake cleaning in the hole of the the IAT sensor?
no , it's too small😅 so the manifold must be out for cleaning
How do you remove the plastic clips that hold the sensor in place? I am not brave enough to try prying them.
