You are doing great things! Sadly the reality is our kids with DS are under estimated. Public school is not so great and unfortunately there are no Catholic schools where I live that would welcome our daughter due to lack of services. I love the Catholic church, but that is one thing that does not make sense, that the schools are not what is deemed as inclusive. I would like for my daughter to attend a Catholic school where all abilities are welcome but it is nonexistent. The best we have is a Catholic school for students with different abilities only. It is a good school and she seems to like it. We are thankful we have this option because public school was a horrible experience.

Kindergarten parents are worse or as we call it in Australia prep. They are picky with who teachers etc.
