    If you go to California go to the South Fork of the Yuba River, just above Nevada City. Good gold there. Or my father had claims on the Klamath River up at the California/Oregon border. Lots of gold there.

      I dig the Klamath and Feather rivers, video on here of both, heading back that way in a few days ✨⛏✨

    I live in Pendleton, I have a spot I go to n 12 mile creek where I have found gold. Lots of cracks and crevices, exposed bedrock and natural gold traps. Would love to show you where if you can help me learn what I'm doing, if I'm doing it right. I have my own equipment, but not sure if I'm using it properly.

    Hey bro after all SC does have some gold! One of my very first RUclips's I ever made was actually trying to find a good location in the Northern SC hills for bedrock but I didn't have luck, still beautiful adventure though. Great gold you found, thank you for sharing! Have you ever found any relics from Indians or the civil war through all your digging? New SUB bro, keep up the great work. -Mayhem 🤠

    • @LOSTRIVERGOLD
      @LOSTRIVERGOLD  2 года назад +2

      Super appreciate you brother! Yep, there's some very good gold here. Its far and few between on good digs here but this spot is great, I'd say it's 2x better than Clear Creek in Colorado! Yep! I sure have, I've found so many different relics it's ridiculous! Indian/ Civil War, all kinds of stuff, coins, bars, bullets, knives, stone axes, pottery, all kinds of goodies, :)

    • @MayhemProspecting
      @MayhemProspecting 2 года назад +2

      @@LOSTRIVERGOLD Heck yeah I knew you would say that. I found a few myself when there and also in Southern Indiana I found some pottery and civil war lead pour. Clear Creek Colorado is a tough place, really not that great of gold, just gorgeous, the good stuff is higher up!!!!

      @@MayhemProspecting I've got a few spots in CC County where I clean up nicely, and yes high benches are the ticket out there. Will be hitting the road again here this week, west, then south, then north, then west west west west

    I wonder if a metal detector eould pick up any thing

    • @LOSTRIVERGOLD
      @LOSTRIVERGOLD  4 месяца назад +1

      If the target is big enough, but most metal detectors won't pick up small gold, usually has to have some good weight to it.

    I live in Elloree SC and recently bought a gold mining kit from Amazon. Where in SC can I find some gold that isn't private property?

    • @LOSTRIVERGOLD
      @LOSTRIVERGOLD  2 года назад

      Best bet would be to get permission on the private property. You'd be surprised how often folks really don't mind. You can use state land maps to find property owner information. A lot the properties I dig, the folks live out of state and happily gave me permission.

      I'd be down to do that. Do you have a creek? I'm over in NC digging at the moment, I have to come back over to Anderson to tend to some business on Monday, I could potentially meet up with you Tuesday or Wednesday, if you have gold I guarantee I'll let ya know. Good potential in Anderson. This creek is better than most in Colorado or California. Believe it or not. If you follow me of Facebook, feel free to message me there, Justin Denig - Lost River Gold
