Samridhi is an initiative to teach Indian Classical-Bharathanatyam through video tutorials online.Founded in 2016,Samridhi has reached over 3.8 Million People and 46 Thousand Subscribers through its maiden youtube platform. Over the course of years,Samridhi has been established as an e-initiative to cultivate the significance of this traditional art form that forms the foundation for several fine arts in India.
Samridhi has been engaging in offering training for learners in Bharathanatyam completely through online using Skype and Zoom platforms.

Hi. Bharathanatyam is not gender specific. It is for people of any gender. There are no different adavus for male and female.

Dear Benitta,By origin there must have been several more steps also.What i have followed is what i was taught.Improvising or additioning steps will purely depend on the artist/dance school pattern.

Hi.I follow Pandanallur Paani of Bharathanatyam and whatever I have done in the videos are what I have been taught as a beginner.But it is important to understand that each style is different and the way the steps are done also depend on the school of teaching,and what the dancer imbibes.Perhaps you recognize it differently,but I cannot establish an authenticity here, because this is an ART and each one improvises differently.
It is ignorance to categorize as right and wrong.
