    I like your taste testing videos so that I can return and refresh my mind. You have quite a few varieties that I’ve not heard of. Thank you for educating us.

    I love, love, love these taste test videos. I’m adding to my already too long list. Also, I thought I was a bit fanatical growing thirty some odd varieties, but 300?! Wow! I’m glad I was able to tell my husband that. 😂

      I’m so so glad you enjoyed them. There will be plenty more. I’ve already recorded five more that need editing. I really enjoy doing them. I think they are so much fun. 😁

    I’m so glad to see you like Marianna’s Peace! She was one of my favorites this year! P.S. I’m having to go back through the videos because I didn’t write down all the varieties I wanted to try!

    Girl , you're spot on about the mayonaise taste and I love it too... a lot of tomatoes have that flavor, some more than others... but I really like it!!

    Yes! It’s me that LOVES a lot of seeds and goo! I feel like that’s where the flavor lies. But that’s just me.
    I NEED GRINCH! Your reaction has sold me and earned an instant spot in my 2024 grow list!

      Yes Mariannas Peace was very productive too and I even had it in not such a sunny spot and it did extremely well. Exact opposite for Bread and Salt.

      @@jencordial I'm actually getting concerned re this current trend to try all these new varieties with people ignoring these tried/true ones that have been around. I'm going to save tons of seed this year. I've been rolling with Stump of the World lately - but Brandywine SUDDUTH strain last year bested that.

    I'm finally getting tomatoes ripening and first one I ate from the garden was ghost cherry and it is a winner! promised my hubby he can try our 2nd tomato from the garden jaunne flamme and I remember Lauren mentioning at the last live her and her husband love that variety so I'm definitely looking forward to tasting it tomorrow. bless your heart trying that many tomatoes in one sitting. Definitely going to put Mariannas peace on my wish list now.

    • @jencordial
      @jencordial  Год назад

      Fantastic. It always seems like it takes forever for that first one to ripen and then you’re bombarded with ripe tomatoes. I’m so glad you like the first one that you tasted. I actually haven’t grown either of those ghost cherry or Jaunne flamme Guess I have some new ones to add to my list. 🤣

    Different Tomatoe varieties have different taste profile in different zones... but one thing that makes them all much better tasting is dry farming them.. unfortunatelly yeild is not that great

    • @jencordial
      @jencordial  Месяц назад

      Oh I would definitely consider myself a dry farmer. I don’t water unless my plants show me signs of struggling or it’s been over a week with no rain and really high temperatures. Last year I think I had the best tasting tomatoes I’ve ever grown and I barely watered.

  • @kathleenloeffler503

    The variety, that you can't pronounced, Grousha tchournaja, i think it's russian or polish and it's translated Black Pear 😉😉😉💚
