I saw the exact same fabric in the Mrs Q boxes on Temu in the pretty much the same bundles - about 1/2 what they quote for price. Did it one month and stopped. Highly recommend sewers club and open gate for subscription boxes. excellent quality and I love the projects.
Hi! I got 400 clips from Amazon for $19.95. I like the neck pillow pattern. I have neck problems so I'm always looking for a good neck pillow. Nice honest review without a lot of negativity.
I just started getting the Open Gate Subscription Box and the Sewers Club Subscription Box. Just got my 2nd box and I'm liking them. The other people I follow recommended to not get the Mrs. Quilty box. I've been watching a whole bunch of box openings and wanted a box that had everything you needed for a project (Sewers Club has that) and Open Gate has supplies for two projects and they use fabrics that I normally wouldn't get (my stash is a whole lot of purple). So far, after getting a second box from each, I'm happy. I actually have a pretty nice stash and don't need to get more fabric unless it is for a specific purpose.
I think / know for price point. Sewers Club is about the Best. 1 project everything you need, quality fabric! Also Open Gate Subscription Box is just awesome. Monique is the nicest and her fabrics are The BEST. As for Mrs Q, if you’re going to add the price of clips you say are free, don’t add them to total price of what you ( they ) think box is worth. IMO fabric is way below par! Ok lips zipped
I just ordered my first Sewers Club stash builder box. Open Gate is on my list to try. Mrs. Q is below par and I couldn’t see spending my money on them anymore while they tried to improve. Thanks for stopping by. Never heard of Monique. I will have to take a look.
@@crafterslogMonique is owner designer of Open Gate with her hubby and I’m sorry I can’t think of his name. Very special people. Holly on Dandelion Stitches should be doing an opening next week of Open Gate. Once you see you will love. ❤️
I cancelled my Mrs. Quilty subscriptions, the fabrics appeared to me to be rougher than similar fabrics I can buy at walmart. I prefer to mix prints with solids but because all these prints are so busy, any project I would make would not have a place for my eye to rest.
I find that I have an abundance of patterned fabric and not enough solids or less busy fabrics. I need to shop the plain Jane isle of the fabric shop! 😝
Wouldn’t surprise me if big brother started checking random boxes. Would be nice if they put a slip in it like TSA used to when they inspected your suitcase.
Well, now I know what I’ll be getting if it’s ever delivered, haha! $1.10/clip? I don’t think so😮. I don’t see any way you could make ALL the projects in the magazine for the amount of fabric they provide. The price/fat quarter isn’t bad, but I haven’t loved the prints. They’re just ok. So far, that’s the best I can say about Mrs Quilty.
I don’t believe there is enough fabric. I think they give you more patterns than fabric so you can pick and choose what you want to make. Plus, adding patterns add value to your purchase.
I received the same fabric in box 4 but i have never received a price list also my book was different no tumbler instructions or strap I'm on my 10th box
I took Mrs. Quilty for two months until I bought material at a quilt store. Yes you get two bundles but the material sucks. Cheap, cheap, cheap. I soon canceled the subscription. I did not enjoy the the box at all. Two boxes and both were the same and projects in catalogs didn't make sense. I think it needs alot of work!
I watched another you tuber who was trying to make a quilt from Mrs. Quilty and all of the measurements were wrong. Why aren’t they getting better at that? I’m underwhelmed by the box. Good luck!
I only heard negative things about this box subscriptions so not surprised that there are issues and I just bought 100 clips on Amazon for $6.69 so they are way off on the cost and it said it was a freebee anyway so why even add that cost in. If you are just getting started sewing/quilting I would suggest you get one of the nicer boxes that are reputable like Fat Quarter Shop so you learn how patterns should be written.
Why are they calling it "Mrs. Quilty" when there are sewing items and not just quilting items? Have seen lots of YT vids showing lots of issues with this box! Also, a big turn off when fabric doesn't have brand/designer on selvage which I've seen this box do in every box opening I've seen of theirs.

Oh wow! I plan on trying Open Gate. They have been mentioned so many times.
I liked your unboxing. Nice fabrics and patterns, but they should test their patterns to be sure it's correct. Love your cat. Thanks for sharing ❤
Thank you. I seen on one of their posts they did ask for people to sign up as testers. I hope they move forward with it.

I look forward to making the pillow!! Great price on the clips!!

Ooo. I haven’t heard of those two boxes. I will take a look.
I don't pay attention to what any box says it worth. I like my Mrs. Quilty box. You can always use the fabric for other things.
Price doesn’t matter but quality does.
I love the honesty... 9.99 for 8 clips? yeah.........
Right!!
AWW sweet kitty. Canceled mine a while back. Didn't care for the fabrics`
He is as sweet as he is ornery. 😻

I'd probably assume it was the feds opening my boxes, but I'd guess they'd be smart enough to at least seal them back up. 😛

Definitely a big difference between what we get in the box vs the store. That’s why I was subbing to many boxes. I wanted to find the best.
I caught on to Mrs. Quilty after the second box. The quality of fabric is awful. All book measurement in projects are not possible tomake.
I have found issues as well. I hope they improve.
Maybe your mail person is hungry... the missing candies? Try Sewers Club or Sew Sampler. Products are better
I will look at those other boxes. I love trying out new ones.

I have several FQS boxes and look forward to making stuff once I can stand long enough.

Not sure why they call it Mrs. Quilty. I also like knowing who the fabric is made by. You never know if you’ll need more.
