    Those who are suffering from OCD and aren't able to live a happy life , just keeping going, don't give up, one day you will live with peace of mind.
    And that one day is probably very close than you think.
    Good Luck

    Guilt is a big one for me. Not because of the thoughts themselves but for the fact many times i keep ruminating and obsessing about the same thing and i can't seem to get over it.
    Big one for you guys: do not attempt to control the thoughts, you cannot. Instead control your focus and do other things in the meanwhile.

    I am trying to get over ROCD with the book I bought from Ali and all her videos. I'm hoping. I keep trying. If I think I won't won it, then I won't. But if I begin to think "I get over it, at least one day", I will feel more better. I've fallen into depression because of ROCD. But I'm sure this can't happen again. Because guys, life's is changing.

    does it frighten you that OCD thoughts can be your desires? sometimes it seems that I really think TC and it's not OCD! is it just me??fear not of evil thoughts themselves, but fear of what if they are desires? how can I tell it apart?

    I have OCD and apologetic issues. They affect my conscience and pride. I think I need to talk to someone about it. My intrusive thoughts are brainwashing. If anyone is knowledgeable about OCD and would like to help, please let me know. I'm not ready to put it in words yet (it IS a complex subject) but it'll be good to know when someone is there to talk. Thank you.

    I have a query. When I try to think of things on purpose (not on auto pilot), things like career, food I want to buy or make, I end up turning them into ocd theme but I need to think of them for living. My question is how I can think of specific things without attaching it to OCD. I'd appreciate help from anyone. Thank you.

    Are Hocd thoughts true as they feel so real and scared even though my therapist says ocd thoughts aren’t true but can Hocd people realise they are Gay

    • @marceldawn0_o
      @marceldawn0_o 4 года назад +3

      I kinda feel the same way, but remember that even if the urge is super real like so real where you 101% feel like you’re better off being gay instead of straight DONT listen to your brain. It just wants to bully you it wants to play tricks on you it wants you to feel this way so that you can feel even more miserable but that’s just not it- yeah it’s really hard to do and you’re afraid of accepting that you’re gay or that you already are and you aren’t aware but we can all get through this together ^^

      Yeah i make peace and boom “ but r u sure like 100000% sure you didnt do it or some new image or voice pops in the head claiming you need to be shamed “ . Seriously what do i do cant spend my entire life analysing thoughts over and over . I even spoke with the person linked to these shameful thoughts and she was nt bothered telling me instead not to worry and i was relieved but bam another thought pops up but did u give the actual details blah blah blah . Honestly, the thoughts were nothing but a minor embarrassing episode in my mind 6 months ago and it has snowballed to great heights.

    • @gregoryv6435
      @gregoryv6435 3 года назад +3

      Hi all, this is why you don’t even want to “entertain” the thought... ocd will always be able to find a new angle on the same thought. As Ali has said in other videos, allowing only a specific time to review said thing is a good start. As you get stronger, you can learn to “accept” the thought as it is and move on with your day. Logic will never work with OCD... this is why giving the thought any daylight is dangerous and will almost always backfire when you have OCD. It’s the most frustrating thing to think you’ve “defeated” a said theme or thought only to find it has come back in a new variety... this is why acceptance (as hard as it may be) is so necessary at some point because you are teaching your brain that you are in charge and while you may not “love” the thought/memory (no matter how real or unreal it is), you can tolerate the discomfort and move on with your day. Good luck, just know that you are not alone!
