My treatment was the standard high doses of Prednisone to start and Methotrexate for a very short time. Prednisone dose was tapered off some, but I stopped taking it on my own. Side effects from both drugs were making me ill. During that time fairly agressive physical therapy with therapist stretching my legs and arms was done. Before all of this I stopped taking Lipitor. I had a little improvement from the treatment. I have went from not able to walk or get out of a chair or touch the top of my head to walking slowly with a cane. Most of my improvement came after I stopped taking the Prednisone and went to eating more things that helped produce nitric oxide in my body.

What is the likelihood that receiving Pfizer BiValent vaccine and Flu vaccine at the same time can bring on an autoimmune disease? My husband had a gradual onset after we both got our vaccines. We have not had a definitive diagnosis yet, we are still working on testing. My son took care of a patient in the ER that developed myositis after Covid illness.

hey Erica, how are you doing/feeling now. On you taking any meds that are helping?
@@everjust23 I was on Rituxab then had a major allergic reaction to the meds on the fourth dose. So that answer would be a definite no, at this time.
