Thank you, BRILLIANT Dr Renee Lantne Many must slow the video speed She is a speed talker
Diet happens to be a fairly weak tool in fight against inflammatory conditions actually. I am of the view that to douse the inflammation fire foods are no. 5 on the list. These four need to be dealt with on priority first. 1. Exercise (end sedentary habits). 2. Sleep (7 + hrs high quality. ) 3. Stress control (meditation). 4. Shun processed foods period. (sugar, salt, saturated fats and trans fats, no more fast food ordering in, cook at home. ) Nothing fuels inflammation like sleepless night after a huge junk food meal. If only messages is to be taken home from this talk that would be STOP EATING PAKAGED AND JUNK FOOD. You can feel it in the burning of skin and eyes the whole next day. In relation to the diet to slow inflammation the trick is to shift the balance between omega 6 and omega 3 in favour of the latter. Supplements of omega 3 are expensive and dont work as great as eating oily fish. The KFC chicken and Big mac etc, where we consume only muscle meat without the organ meats (liver, kidney, gut, testicles) is rich in omega 3. We evolved eating the entire chicken not just the chicken breasts. So consume the whole daman lamb (except brain as cow brain is linked to the prion infection of the human brain as in CJD). The plant foods in general are good idea but their anti inflammatory effect is mediated by antioxidant. They come at the bottom of the list if you are trying to douse the inflammation. Eating 80-90% of items from the plant source is a good idea as all animal fats including diary cause inflammation. There is little to choose between this plant or that plant. They are all good and work from different angles. All nuts are good esp if you eat them with the shells except coconut. Enjoy the process of cooking own meals and eat it with the whole family on in the car.

I follow a no fiber animal-based diet that's high in fat. Zero vegetables. I've had an inflammatory disease for over 20 years and have tried everything. Wish I wouldn't have wasted so much time on these"healthy" diets, but you don't know until you know.

She seems well meaning but in my opinion she has a long way to go learning about nutrition and should not be speaking to others at this point,

Pealing the skin off the potatoes, does it remove the pesticides & other agro chemical ??
I am double pealing potatoes, as per Keto diet allows , maybe the toxic chemicals ingested is insignificant to affect my feeling of homeostasis.
Absolutely I can't eat potatoes with skin on !!
I feel too sick after eating potato skins , it is toxic !
