If I was on the market for this type of car - definitely the diesel, and it is not about fuel consumption, it is about the range and torque the diesel gives - and this diesel is simply awesome...
I've just changed my W12 Bentaya for a V8 Diesel. The W12 would do 27mpg on a motorway run, the Diesel did 45mpg! It's as quiet as a mouse and is just a brilliant all round car.
Really good video ! I really like the Bentley Bentayga and i think its really awesome that they have this V8 Diesel. I would really buy the V8 Diesel Bentayga rather than the V12 cuz of the fuel economy. And the accleration is amazing with those 900 NM. I love it
@@alexgearhead if i can use this car between 10-13L / 100km i would be really happy. Nothing to do with worring about anything, its just nice to have. My C63 took 15-20 and the M4 15L. As i said nice to have
Not an offroader as it does not have a low gearing. In such a big and heavy SUV a diesel makes a lot of sense. And a huge driving range is nice for holidays and such.
Yup nice long stretch of road. It reminds me of one of those a class when you go over a speed limit the windows in the sedan starts to roll up on it's own. Nice and quiet piece of mind. Blocks every thing out. " That Indeed".
Unless you are committed to getting the signature W12 petrol engine, to me the diesel is the way to go. It just fits this car perfectly and makes the most sense for this type of vehicle. I would certainly take the V8 diesel over the V8 petrol engine, but I may be a bit biased because I'm always inclined towards diesel in general.
Yeah there are a lot of Bentayga’s down here in Australia and I swear every 4th house around me has one 😂🤦♂️ (Ok so maybe that’s just here where I live in Melbourne, Aus lol)
ိAyy LMAO there are rich people who mind stopping often for refueling and don't actually care about 0 to 100km/h acceleration as long as the engine still powerfull and it is
Bentley has actually ceased production of the V8 Diesel Bentayga. Not because it's pointless but because the potential customer for this car just won't be buying a Bentley with a Diesel. An Audi Q7, maybe.
It actually makes sense, range is a luxury on itself, there is nothing more annoying than having to refuel pretty much everyday or having to stop more times than supposed to refuel.
It is very nice, but somehow I can't get over the fact that the infotainment is straight from an old Skoda Superb/Octavia with a different software and shuffled knobs. Its pathetic at this price point! Sorry Bentley but its unacceptable.

Very nice interior and what a smooth engine damn ....
This is best Businessmen's car
It will not breakdown during travelling
Diesel engine is silent fuel efficient and torque
Gearbox is durable also

Dude, if you buy a bentley you worry about fuel economy? Nice joke

@@alexgearheadOf course you care… Same argument: If you own a Bentley, do you care about Sound and Horsepower? No, then why would you need a W12?
Those interior colour combinations are really a Stevie Wonder special!

The king of design
I love the fact that this doesnt have the sound actuator 👌 Imagine that with V12 TDI

So quiet on the motorway. Impressive as is the interior.

Why are there British Plates on the car while he is in the Netherlands?
you can use them if you stay less than 6 months. eu rules
and it’s lhd
When you put a diesel in a bentayga, you automatically get a Vw touareg.
Which one is better the diesel or the w12 ?
It's impossible to say it's down entirely to personal preference. I'd take the diesel model if I could afford a Bentayga.
Where did you filmed this video

quanto custa um bentley bentayga desse!!!
It should be the v12 tdi. (However diesel in a Bentley is actually pointless.)

W12 for me
Did you buy it?
I hate the captain's chairs.
MY God, take this steering wheel normal, at this speeds you dont feel the car very good, take it normal, you stay to relaxed.
Bentayga faster than the Nissan 350Z!
What kind of word do you do?
Do you mean language?
tesla model 3 pls

Bentley Diesel.....Anathema!
Not at all.
€ 320 000 :D
The camera used for this sucked
Even on 1080p it sucked.
why would Bentley ever produce a diesel variant , it is not like fuel economy concerns its potential buyers .
It's not fuel economy itself, it's range. This config makes a lot of sense imo
My father is buying luxry diesel cars (s400d etc) because of range and convinience (we have a diesel tank on our property)
Dziadek I am convinced by your reasoning but is the diesel market share enough to justify the cost if building one?
@@Voltedge89 Absolutely yes in Europe.
