Just the decision I was looking to make. Thanks so much! Definitely will buy this on Forza later this evening.
Hahah glad I could help
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Me too fooo shoooo.. 😆
Good one 🤣🤣
I have a 2017 Bentayga V8 Diesel and have to say it’s the best everyday car I’ve ever owned. I’ve had every Porsche including Panamera Sport Turismo but this is in a different class. It does everything so very very well and I regularly get over 40 mpg on long runs. It has the cabin of a Continental GT but the practicality of a Range Rover. I’ve taken it across fields and down river banks when I go fishing and it takes everything in its stride. I did have some custom rubber floor mats made for everyday use. Highly recommend this car. By the way your videos are very good. 👍
what do you do for a living?
are you a drug dialer 🤣
@@ryanhall9347 he sells feet pics to enterprise software salesmen

I’ve driven a few of them and for a reasonable distance. All of them were petrol models and they all had the same effect on me, and that was when I got to the customer’s house or place of business. I simply didn’t want to hand it over to them. I wouldn’t hesitate to get one if it wasn’t for the fact of the maintenance. I could probably buy one with a little bit of juggling, but the potential for ruining my experience should I encounter a big issue, although I do have no illusions about the cost of general servicing and replacement of brakes, tires etc…….oh well, I hope you’re still happy with the one you have.
I spent about 8 months working on the Bentley factory boiler house some years ago and the most impressive thing i saw among all the cars in the factory was a bentagya fitted with a tow bar, class
Man you should have your own TV show!! Brilliant honest and balanced reviews....thank you!
Maybe one day!
Scheduled TV is what people had in the old days; content on demand like RUclips is what people want today and there are thousands of new stars and programmes
@@HighPeakAutos Did you really just "love" a comment telling you how brilliant you are?! 🤣This Manc has changed with a little bit of wealth...just like Manchester City!
@@Pwwh0711 yes I did! 😂
I love how you’re delivering a sensible just factual script along with some great visuals. Your RUclips game is definitely improving man, congrats I hope you become really successful with it all.
Thank you
I would never have considered a 4x4, SUV a few years ago, but since driving various different makes and models within the last 18 months I have definitely changed my mind. The main reason responsible for the change of heart is the seating, driving position. Driving dynamics such as eliminating excessive body roll, alongside significant improvements in both performance and fuel economy. In my opinion, they are far more aesthetically pleasing since their increased popularity amongst the car buying public.
Great channel. Look forward to your new content.
Fun review, thank you! Always cool to see what you present to us motoring enthusiasts👍
Can I add, I really appreciate and thank you for your meticulous B-roll shots, enhances your
reviews greatly with every detail in good view for either looks/style, practicality and tech😎
Thank you!
Great vid as always Matt . Always loved the Bentayga.
Love the fact you you showed both the car and the brand the respect they deserve and got dressed up for this one
Thanks for another excellent enjoyable video as always!
Glad you enjoyed it
I live and work in Altrincham, plenty of these on the roads around here.. mostly black, with blacked out windows, and black alloys, and yet whenever one drives past me I appreciate them. beautiful machines.
I’m the same
Hated the look of them when they first came out. But now they look super impressive. 👌
Amazing car and I'd love to own one but I couldn't handle the attention, whenever you pull up somewhere you'll be under the spotlight understandably and I'd hate that.
Looks like a tiguan guess it is made by the same people
@Gospod Nadskof they are owned by the same people also vw sell alot of cars in England
Yet another great review of a beautiful car Matt👌
Another amazing review. 👌🏾
Another fantastic top marque luxury motor by Bentley 🇬🇧
Keep up the great work Matt.
Thanks, will do!
From Joe Average, great review again, very easy to understand and grasp the feel of whatever you're driving.
I remember one of your early vids & a Bentayga distracted you, you were in awe, now you're reviewing it! Crazy! 😂
Haha yes I remember! I've always fancied one
Great review Matt,
I would also have one of these , choice between this and the Vogue SE
Im looking at changing out my Cayenne S 4.2 V8 so this is on my list !
Cars like this are just a dream for me,loved it, thank you.
Great review ! Thank you.
I really enjoy your reviews, proper automotive poetry
Glad you like them!
Another great review matt👍👍and we'll done dodging that massive van mate 😂😂👍👍
I can appreciate the quality of the build and workmanship has been knocked out of the park with this. Although it looks too much like a Q something but nevertheless for the money it looks quite sedate which isn’t necessarily a bad thing
I’ve got a 19 v8 and it’s absolutely amazing. I love it just for what it is- the best “made” Bentley ever. Not the rarest. Not the most historical. But the best made. It isn’t for everyone but it’s a dream to drive.
Great review and full of humour too ..I've had a couple of Range Rover Classics from new then Land Cruisers but the Bentley looks very well presented.
Amazing review!
I work at the Crewe Factory building the Bentayga since they were released and they are some amazing machines
Loving your video edits with seamless B roll. As to the car, I drive a full size SUV granted not a Bentley, but they make sense for comfort and room onboard. If I ever was looking at a high value car, I'd seriously look at staying with an SUV. Not a fan of the Rolls though, still think it looks like a London Taxi, especially in black
I’ll be honest, I’ve never saw one of these on the roads before. Beautiful car, great review!!
Another great Vid 😎 It’s nice to see how the other side live 😀
This’ll help me make my decision now
Real consumer advice as always haha
Who ever choose the interior colours has impeccable taste 👍
And 430 bhp and God knows how much torque is " adequate"🇬🇧
Love it. Matt you should be on TopGear , you are much better than the current three by a mile.
Thanks
Great review, would love one.
I have a customer in Kent who bought one of these and he also says it's the most comfortable car he's ever owned. Cheers matt
Had to put on a shirt too ;) it's not a question of "should" but rather, "could" ;)
Great review as always, keep them coming!
Love the "Watering your plants with Evian' quote. :) :)
So glad I’m not alone in hating the winter’s low sun. It gives me headaches and drives me mad. I usually drive like I’m chilling in a sofa, but when that winter sun hits me, I go forward all the way to the wheel, adjust the seat to 90 degrees, put the side sun wisor and hide like a vampire from it.
Welcome to North Yorkshire, hope you enjoyed your stay.
Great review
Wonderful. Would you mind including the NM of torque when you mention the power figures please. Cheers
That looks 🔥🔥
Well done on the Nigel Havers reference, you’re a class act
Cheers!
That V8 Diesel sounds good under load. Great torque too. Another great video Matt on subject matters I’m interested in ( large comfy luxury SUVs)
It's a terrific engine and they've done a great job of silencing it from inside
The interior is something else 😍
It really is
I completely understand your gripe with heated steering wheels Matt, I drive a 2018 Astra Elite that I got my old man, it has heated seats front and back and a heated steering wheel and once you have it you don't want to go without 🤣
I've been toying with treating myself to a bmw or merc, but the lack of heated steering wheels is a joke, as they're hidden in overpriced packs. It's a joke that a Bentayga doesn't have it as standard.
Stunning Bentley
I always loved it. There's 3 or 4 I see every now and then and always wish we could swap, but dont worry, I'd definitely give it back though
This review sums you up. Always thought this of you. Now I know.
That I like Bentleys?
Look at you now! Not that long ago you were reviewing Ford Fiestas, well done !
I bought a new Bentley Bentayga Diesel in 2017 (Mulliner Spec), amazing performance and great fuel economy but it was back at with Bentley every month as the sump filled with diesel every 3.5k miles, dash warning to reduce oil level (according to Bentley this was normal). Micro blistering under the paintwork (in various places) which Bentley eventually resprayed under warranty and tyres at £620 a corner. Mulliner spec does give heated steering wheel and massage seats but overall not worth the £156k price tag, needless to say I wouldn't get another (diesel sales stopped in 2019).
That’s shocking. Didn’t expect that
It’s the start stop causing the diesel diluting the oil. It’s common on traffic and city driving. We have had that happen on 2.0tdi A3 quite often after 8k it was 1.5l diesel in the engine oil
@@benjaminkessler8169 Just about to say the same .
Lexus is bestus mayn it really is. Nice lc500 no stress total confidence in the workmanship. Wish I was rich I know what I want😂😭
@@AB-vr6qe Range Rover is by far the best pound for pound, I've had three of them and the pleasure of ownership out way any maintenance issues but each to their own.
Lovely machine and great review as always!
I understand the nitpicking though, I have a heated steering wheel in my 17 plate Kia Optima which I use every morning in the winter 😅 I don’t get how cars like this don’t have such features fitted as standard..
I agree. It ought to come with everything
Great video Matt. I would get the Bentayga diesel but I think a low mileage 66 reg Audi SQ7 would be better value...and cheaper road tax and running costs since they share the same engine .
Cheers Matt ,a beautiful machine 👍
Absolutely Gorgeous 😍 doubt I’d see one where I live though. Slightly off topic.. looks like a really nice winters day there … oh how I miss them..
Loving the review.... 👌
Glad you liked it!
I would be interested to see how the new Range Rover competes with this.
Looks are subjective (not for me) but they are a very well accomplished and high quality product we a great engine. The interior oozes quality
What a lovely car to review - I associate the Bentayga, with the new generation Bitcoin millionaire crowd ...
I am old school, so could only ever buy the Continental - great review!
I like Bentayga like driving a comfy arm chair. I might consider one for driving around New Zealand when I go back, that is my usual preferred full size Range Rover 👌they’re perfect
Good choice!
top vid matt
Thanks!
Regarding getting dirty in the Bentayga, I’m sure you’ve seen Footman James’ video where he tests a green Bentayga all over his big country farm pastures. He concludes that it could work as a farm SUV, but it’s not the vehicle for filling with manure in the rear boot 👍. He did the same test with an Urus.
Harry's garage
Had to purchase a hub cap badge [1 1/2 inches diameter] centre for a Bristol in 1976 - those little badge collectors! The cost is seared into my brain - £50. Some £380 in today’s money. Watch for those unexpected extras with luxury lubley cars!!! Great review as usual. Those servicing costs are not bad. Maybe diesel luxury is the way to go!
Nevermind the car ! good to see you rocking the entire used car salemans uniform (dark trousers, pink shirt, expensive Swiss watch) I can almost smell the boss aftershave! Keep it up👍😂 p.s when I started selling cars it was slip on moccasins and kuros 😳
Stunning absolutely stunning 🤩
what a video, I want one now 😍
Beautiful part of the world Matt, you must of gone north from York yup to County Durham.
It was that general area yes. It was lovely
I think the styling is ageing very nicely.
Great review. Sounds like a fabulous car but I have a thing about modern Bentleys - I just can't get past that grill - I hate it.
My absolute favourite SUV and the only one I would buy if my numbers come up on the lottery. Beautiful craftmanship. Proper luxury.
Couldn't agree more!
Driving a diesel worth 200k~ is just plain wrong. Even idea that bentley could be fitted with diesel engine makes me shiver. Great video as always! Keep it up!
Matt what’s going on! It took you till nine minutes and thirty seconds to mention the ‘double cup holders’ 😂 Another great review keep em coming mate 😀👍🏻
Fantastic video matt, great editing. I don't like the bentyaga,, cullinan or the G wagon,, it's a RR sport or maybe a Mercedes GLe for me although the Bentyaga your driving Matt has a lovely interior,, regards Mark
Great review Matt. These still haven't grown on me though - still carry that cringe new money vibe. More like X6 upgrade than upmarket RR.
Nice car, great review
An interesting insight into the psychology of cars and money, or should that be money and cars... right there in the intro...
Best one yet.
Love this car
I seriously think that you and Matt from Car wow should have your own Netflix motor consumer TV show .
Brilliant stuff .
@@seanmcsweeney1 yup 👍🏽… the new “real life” tv consumer car show …. It’s a no brainer …… Howay dragons den investors
Add Mark Nichol (from Vanarama) into the mix
@@darwenrover8910 I’ve just watched a few
Of his videos . Good content ….. yup he’s on the team 👍🏽👍🏽😃
30 MPG in town ??? jesus that is good! even after you said that its better than you might think, I was gussing early 20s
Crikey Matt, what an absolutely, stunningly beautiful county 😁
Not that I'm biased or anything.
I often cut my lawn in a toxedo. lol. Brilliant Matt.
Hello HIGH PEAK... love the reviews and honest opinion. Would you do a review of an Infiniti qx30d, always loved them.
Hi, yes will do. Cheers
Great vid once more. It is very similar to an SQ8 though.
Love the variety on this channel bet the next video is a MK1 Focus 😂
I do try and keep it varied haha
@@HighPeakAutos 2002 Suzuki Ignis - takes some beating.....!
Yeah they are decent enough - I’ll have two.
Only two?
The front has always reminded me of a Routemaster bus.
I assume the same engine in the SQ7 diesel.
Speaking of the SQ7 diesel, we now get the petrol one like in North America.
It will be a beautiful vintage in the future
Nice review Matt 👍I think the image of this type of elite level SUV has been tarnished a bit by the fact that footballers buy them, in other words, loads of money but no taste. If I’d made my money in business then I wouldn’t want someone thinking I played for Man Utd et al. It’s a Mulsanne for me. 😉
What astonishes me with the Bentley’s is the price premium yet if you look enough you’ll see parts shared with VW’s, Skoda and Seat.
Finally a car I can afford!
Thank you for the metric numbers 👌
You’re welcome 😊
There is a heating steering wheel, and 2 visors, (optioned ofc)
Love your work 👍
A used 4l diesel Bentayga in Australia is $330000. (£160000)
Enjoyed that. Thank you. I've got my eye on a flying spur. I've seen a nice 1 for £13,000! Could u review one perhaps?
Another great review. Time to step away from the German and English cars. I look forward to your review of the Huracan.
Love this car.
Another great video, made even better by being filmed in Yorkshire (where it is always sunny).
A bit late to the game , just found this review and love it
Thanks!
@@HighPeakAutos Bloody hell Matt do you ever sleep or take a break from sales or internet lol
Thank you for putting litres/kilometers for us to understand😊
