Sorry, but misleading information in the videos first minute. it's not a bi-turbo. it's a tri-turbo. One high pressure turbo(big rev's), One low pressure turbo(low rev's), One electric turbo. So 3x turbo's.
I love mine and get 30mpg around town and upto 45mpg on a long run. It has be stage 1 and is 520bhp and 1050 NM. It’s the best cat I have ever had. Loved the review
You get that kind of mpg??? My dad had a v6 Range Rover sport and it gets like 25ish town and 35ish max on a run. And it’s must be slow compared to a sq7
Was that just egr and dpf delete? I’ve got to drive a stock SQ7, for the weekend the TDI badge definitely fooled me lol Yours must be naughty when it wants to 😎 But even cruising beautiful V8 engine sound is music to the ears 💯👍

Lucky to own this and the nicest I have ever owned - I love it and not a single issue in four years since new - diesel SQ7 nicer (to me) that the newer petrol hence I am keeping mine for longer
Got one in the same colour. I get around 33 MPG long term, but on the school run (to school) I get around 47 MPG, but much less on the way back 😀 I had a Q7 3.0 272 before and the difference between the two is cavernous in terms of performance. If you ever get the chance to own one, it's totally worth it, even with the fuel prices as stupid as they are now.
Had one for 6 years just sold it yesterday with 265,788km for 62000 AUD. Used as a daily driver and weekend car went all over Australia. Gonna miss it.
@@ericblaich7681 ours was an early 2016 car one of the first in Australia. Early ones suffered from a sensor issue with the oil level reading where it kept saying overfilled but it wasn’t. Audi quickly fixed it and nothing ever happened since. Just routine maintenance as per Audis advice and it was good. Just be careful with the air suspension system as often tyre shops when replacing tyres hit important sensors causing the air suspension system to go haywire.
I have a 2018 SQ7 which I bought from and Audi main dealer. Overall i've been very pleased with it. I love the look of it especially those wheels, the torque on it and the total lack of turbo lag ... but there's a few things about it I would prefer to have known prior to buying it. For example, if you have anything done on it relating to geometry, suspension, the cameras, sensors etc ... even having a tyre changed... you need to have an 'advanced tracking' process done which involves having a load of 'settings reconfigured' whatever that means and its over £600 at the main dealer. Mine was on 21k when i bought it and after a couple of months it started running rough. I took it in to the dealer and it turned out the inlet manifolds had cracked due to getting clogged. This was not covered under warranty but luckily due to the low miles Audi agreed to cough up for the engine out repair required which would have been £6k. The audi pre-sense is an absolute joke and ive ended up turning it off. It'll go off randomly and nearly break your neck let alone the burst of adrenaline making you want to punch out the windscreen. Imagine driving a car along minding your own business and it suddenly forcefully coming to a dead stop without you doing anything. or warning the guy behind you. It has a setting on it that tells you your tyre pressures are low. On mine this comes on literally every other week. Theres no way in the mmi to find which tyre it is referring to and the only way to clear the light is to tell it to store the current pressures. In terms of fuel on a longish run using motorways ill get about 33-40mpg but on a cold day with ice on your windows on the school run taking about 15mins it can be as low as 9MPG!
Pre-sense and everything like it is just plain dangerous especially when you don't know about them. I rented a car last month that had lane assist (Never had it before) and it nearly tossed me into the barriers on the motorway. Fair to say I now turn everything off in every car I drive now 😂
It's very interesting that you had such problems in your 2018 car, the pre-sense and tire pressure works perfectly in my 2011 A7, even saved my ass when there was a horse carriage on the road in the dead of night with no lights I only had problems with the automatic high beam, very slow to react. Turned it off two months after I got the car and never used it since
Rear lights are OEM as option. Launch it it’s sub 5 seconds. Dynamic mode - traction control off, hard on brake, full throttle boost build to full, let go of brake…..sub 5 seconds to 60 easy. Exhaust sound is a external speaker
My daily drive is a 700€ Ford but i have also an Rs7 ...point is that is always better to have a cheap car as daily drive ..i am so relaxed when i drive it and have no stress if someone scratch it and also dont care if road is dirty or potholes
Yes you can use as a daily driver.. I have one!! Best Audi I’ve had!! I’ve been through the ranges from a S3 to the SQ7.. brilliant all round family car!! As Calvin said the MPG is very good for a car of that size and power., To launch it!! Put into sport, left foot on brake pedal.. plant your right foot on accelerator build full boost, off the brake and it goes off like a nutter!! Draggy times will be under 5 secs!! I’ve done it 4.8 my best..
Nice video. The pre-facelift SQ7 has many details missing on the new SQ7, like the covers in the engine bay. The most important is that although the petrol version goes faster and nimbler, it lacks the uniqueness of the diesel ones, i.e., the most powerful and advanced diesel engine for a road car.
