SUV drag races don’t get much better than THIS!
We’ve got our hands on the all-new Range Rover, and it’s going head-to-head against an Audi SQ7, a Mercedes-AMG GLE 63, and a Bentley Bentayga!
So let’s see how these mighty SUVs compare. Starting with the Range Rover, it’s packing a 4.4-litre twin-turbo V8 that can produce 530hp and 750Nm of torque. It’s pretty heavy, weighing in at 2,510kg, and it’ll set you back at least £138,000.
Next up we have the Audi. It’s the cheapest car here, at £81,000, however, it’s also the least powerful! It’s got a 4-litre twin-turbo V8 under the bonnet that can produce 507hp and 770Nm of torque. It’s also lighter than the Range Rover, tipping the scales at 2,265kg.
Alongside the SQ7 we have the Bentayga. With yet another 4-litre twin-turbo V8 under the bonnet, the Bentley can put down 550hp and 770Nm. It’s pretty heavy, at 2,415kg, and it’s the most expensive car here, at £182,000.
Then finally, we have the GLE 63. It’s equipped with a (you guessed it…) 4-litre twin-turbo V8, but it’s up on power compared to the rest, at 612hp and 850Nm. It tips the scales at 2,420kg, and a new one will set you back £124,000.
So will the GLE walk it? Or could the Audi spring a surprise? There’s only one way to find out - LET’S RACE!

Honestly, for being the cheapest car there, the SQ7 did really exceptionally well for that price difference. I'm actually surprised~ Didn't win anything, other than that first offroad race, but it kept up very well~
It should have won. It has the same engine as the Bentley and is the lightest of the bunch.
Maybe it is not fair, but with the same price level, Tesla kills all other gas cars, probably except for sound check and brake test. Electric cars seems to be designed for drag race and rolling race.
It also didn't come last so that's a win.

Out of this bunch I would go Merc for performance, RR for the looks.
I am truly impressed how well the SQ7 did compared to the GLE. Being 40 k cheaper and having 100 hp+ less. Honestly really really good.
And the GLE having close to 200kgs more than the audi
it's cuz it's lighter - but all these things are disgustingly heavy
The Bentayga is literally the same car underneath as the SQ7, but I'm sure that extra weight doesn't help it. I mean both the SQ7 and the Bentayga are stupidly heavy, but that Audi actually pulled really well. Considering the 100 HP difference, and being the cheapest car in this race, it did super well. I'm impressed with what Audi has done to that Q7, and it was a smart move putting that amazing V8 in there. Also it braked pretty well for being almost 2.3 tons.
But luxury of benz didn't get in audi
But in my opinion it should be GLS instead of GLE if you comparing big SUVs

The Range Rover did considerably well, especially since it isn't a focused performance SUVs like the others. And as expected, it won the offroad race proving that Land Rover's 4WD system is superior to any other. Cheers to the SQ7 for being the underdog in this comparison as well. For the price, it put up a good fight. The Merc AMG is just straight-up badass and did what it does best and as for the Bentley, it was just a beast!
At point. A full size Range Rover is in a drag race perfectly funny displaces, it’s the opposite of his concept.
Therefore is the RRS on offer, with an setup to deliver to that Type of consumer.
I love all the 4 cars, each for its own fan of setup and style☺️!
I see a clear consumer difference between the Range Rover (Long distance glider and top off-roader), Bentley (more fancy and a bit more sporty long distance tourer), Audi (closer to a SUV looking Van, for all occasions in transportation without Bering too fancy) and the GLE AMG 63 (Beast for posing and enjoying the sound and torque)!
That Audi SQ7 did well for it's price difference compare to other cars (😍 Audi all the way)
And considering that it had the lowest hp amongst the four…
The RSQ8 would have been a better race and would have still been the cheapest car

Awesome video and competition between the guys. I had the biggest smile on my face watching you guys go at it. I favored the Bentley due it's styling and HP, but my heart was with the Mercedes due to owning 2, both R231 and X166 are stage 1 tuned by Pressertech.

Thank you Mat for this race. i have always wanted to see the GLE63 in action, but it has always been missing. i knew it was brilliant work of German engineering. The Range was bound to come last in the drag races though.

I’m a big AMG fanboy so it was nice seeing the GLE slaughtering everyone else. With that said, had there been an X5M/X6M in there, I think it would have been a different story entirely
The x6m would destroy them all. X6m has a quarter mile time of 11.7 seconds

@@Samiuddin98 I’ve run those sort of times in my 2022 GLE 63. I have the coupe version. It’s all down to the driver and environment. Bloggers and journalists aren’t always getting the most out of the car. They’re just giving a general idea of how it performs. The GLE 63 can run 11s though.

The SQ7 is definitely not the sportiest, but great car nonetheless. I'm an Audi fanboy, and I'd take the SQ8 over the SQ7, since it looks cooler, even though they're the same car with the same engine and power.

@@damarfadlan9251 i love the TDIs but stock for stock is not even a fair comparison. the 4.0L will walk TDI consistently. SQ7/8 TDIs 0-60mph ~4.7 1/4mi ~13s and 4.0TFSI 0-60mph ~3.7tested 1/4mi ~12.3s again i love TDI but it gets walked by the gasser

Hi. Just found your channel & this test. Next time you're looking to test them in the real world, what about lowering the rear seats and seeing how much space a Labrador and a Great Dane would have. Also, test their towing with a caravan at each cars max towing capacity.. love your videos, btw. Cheers, all the way from NZ. My choice would be the range rover.

Great engine in that SQ7, the typical VW Group 4.0L twin turbo V8 that the SQ7 needs and still got a lot of power for being such a huge car. The GLE 63 obviously destroyed everyone (typical Mercedes-AMG), but the way the Bentayga got off the line in every race is nuts, considering it's the same car underneath as the SQ7/SQ8, which are all heavy af.

Honestly I‘m surprised by the price because the SQ7 is actually 20k pounds or 18k Euro more expensive in Germany Than in the UK.

GLE63 for me. Sound best! Interior, 2nd to Bentley, Performance best! Value 2nd to Audi
Exterior looks , totally subjective but in my opinion it’s the best! If you’ve ever seen one from the rear with the factory 325’s in the rear on 22’s, it’s so stocky & muscular!
