The first story I'm pretty sure y'all have read the first part of it before but she stole his keys and took them to a pawn shop and his wife covered for her so he called the cops and his wife had to pay for them to get them back and that's why they were separated because his mother-in-law would steal and his wife would make excuses for it

Btw hoarding is a type of anxiety disorder, so I'm not surprised she had a health emergency when forced to change her behavior.

Skeleton keys are not for lock picking it's just a type of old key. Yall need to watch ONE episode of hoarders so you have more knowledge of the illness and why it's important to condemn homes

I think you kind of have to report someone whose house is in such bad shape because it can be a hazard to the community around it.

    • @Raraking4796
      @Raraking4796 3 месяца назад +1

I think this is true depending on the houses location and the person who lives there. Like if there are kids who live there or if there’s or if elderly people live there too. I also think if someone who has disabilities or health issues.
Also if people have like section 8 and other types of government Assistance as they often have a variety of different inspections. Hopefully my comment makes sense. I’m babysitting right now so I have 4 years kids for 5 years and 8 years. I’ll ask me different questions at the same time haha 😅😅😂😂

They condemn the house. Basically they say it cannot be lived in safely. The fire department cares about hoarding houses because those houses tend to go up in flames extremely quickly and result in powerful flames. Making it much easier for the fire to spread to other homes/properties.

    • @rosejurkowski8715

Not to mention the higher likelihood of injury/ death due to being unable to move safely through the building.

Plus hoarder homes are vectors of pests and diseases. Those homes are filled with cockroaches and rats and those spread to the neighbors which is a huge problem.

Something like this happened to my exes neighbour two Christmas' ago. Old fella was a horder and fell asleep with his dog on the chair in the sitting room while his son went shopping for him. His son came back to the house in flames, neither the man or his companion survived. Incredibly sad :(

In all probability OP's skeleton key collection was antique or vintage. Although the definition of skeleton key you guys read was accurate many people call all antique keys of that style skeleton keys.
Skeleton keys can cost from a couple of dollars to around $1000. It is possible that OP's collection was very valuable.

3:01 - it’s not about the stuff…it’s about the condition of the home, all the problems he mentioned that affect the structural integrity. the building will be condemned if not fixed, and that’s why she could lose her home if it is deemed unlivable

    • @umbramortis8753

Fire marshal will go out, inspect the house, code enforcement will be notified, code enforcement will give the owner of the property so much time to get it cleaned up, plus they could extend the time if they see sufficient progress. If they do not see sufficient progress/no progress and time runs out, the house will be condemned by the city and subject to being demolished if damage to house is extensive

Pretty sure that legally you have to upkeep an owned house. Like for homesteading, you actually must make 10% improvements every year for the land to be yours (otherwise homesteading is typically done on free land, which is why in order to “claim” it, you have to set up perimeter and keep upkeep and make improvements each year (that can be as simple as getting your gutters cleaned or doing yard work (such as landscaping, not just mowing your yard), or things like that. Regardless, the stbew isn’t responsible for her mothers house, that’s the mil’s job

Sometimes I forget how young you all are lmao. 😂 skeleton keys are typically antique and worth a lot of money. Also, homes that are hoarded are more likely to be condemned due to safety hazards, risk of disease, mold, etc. If the condition of the home is bad enough, it’s not as simple as cleaning up.

As many have already noted, the skeleton keys are not for lock picking. They are more akin to the universal key comment you guys made. But the ones that people collect probably don’t open anything anymore. People collect antique and vintage ones because they’re really cool looking. My late partner had a small collection that actually opened doors in her 1924 built home. It was kind of neat.

39:17 that's not completely true. You don't have to stop in Germany for the ambulance, firefighters or the police. You have make sure that there is enough space that these vehicles can drive through. Most people have to stop because there is no chance to drive. Maybe because they have to drive on the sidewalk for example.
By the way. I'm German and you don't have to pay for the ambulance a full amount if there have to come to rescue. You need to pay 10 euro. Same for hospital. 10 euro a day max 14 days in a row or 28ndays in one year

Story 2: Theres nothing my significant other could do to make me forgive them for cheating. ESPECIALLY in this situation, were there was no issue, there was no reason (not that there ever is a valid reason) she was just... a slut, saw a dude boned him and then fell in feels aka op at that point despite being a great partner just wasn't enough and will never be enough. That means theres no trust, no real commitment and absolutely nothing stopping her from doing it again. Her reason for not wanting a divorce is also sub par, to uphold this fake family and keep the kids and her reputation, NOT because she loved him or regrets what happened!
OP was definitely icky and toxic and manipulative with his condition (and she was too for giving in ultimatum she was clearly trying to avoid consequences so in that sense im glad he uno reversed her) and obviously wants his wife to suffer so that just proves thst even tho the cheater met the condition it doesnt fix anything.

The one freaking out because her niece didn't wear makeup - the woman is loco in the coco!
Dementia or not, this is not a good sign. She needs to see her doctor and have her meds adjusted, or a new one added to help curb the behaviours.
All those saying apologize, you have no clue what it's like dealing with people in that stage of dementia / Alzheimer's.
People can change so drastically. Her anger and irrational reactions, not good.
As with brain injuries, you never know what part of someone's brain is affected.
