Hi Efren! Last year i did the CF after watching your video. This summer i just did the CP, and i get to relive my trip thru your video - so cool!!! So happy to see this video and send you a big shout out! This winter i am planning to do the via de la plata, starting in Sevilla. Hugs from Zurich!
Effen, Thank you so much for taking the time to create such a great video! Your use of drones, maps, and other cool gadgets really contributed to making the video so helpful for someone who has yet to do the Camino or someone who wants to revisit a hike that they had done in the past. I am going to watch all of your videos and take notes 👍 🙏
Your daily cost breakdown, phone #s and GPS coordinate mapping has been extremely helpful for our planning. Thanks for taking the extra time to add these.
Efren, you're awesome!! As a photographer/pilgrim, these videos are soooo helpful for doing photography/video on the Camino as well as just getting real practical tips to help with the walk! I'm starting my Camino Portuguese starting from Lisbon in less exactly 3 weeks and I'm using your videos to help with the planning the Porto to Santiago portion. Thanks again!!
Hermano. El día 13.9 inicio mí primer camino de Santiago. Iré por esa vía del litoral. Tremendo aporte. No llevaré tantos aparejos electrónicos pero igual tomaré las fotos pertinentes. Gracias
I love this new video format, where you get more into detail! :) What a nice job you're doing with all the caminos, with so much information for future pilgrims!!
Efren, it's so nice to watch your videos about the camino and I'm sooo looking forward to the Camino del Norte session, where I got to know you. You are very inspiring and I still remember how you always said to keep it slow and rest when my feet hurt. I'm planning to walk the camino portugues next spring, so I'm super grateful for your videos!! I hope you're fine and wish you all the best! Sara
Hey Efren, thanks for this. Will be doing the Camino Portuguese in April 2020 and your video (as always) gets me either in zone for what I'm going to do, or in the case of the Camino Frances and Via Francigena, the great memories of where I've been :) Cheers Pilgrim!
Very clean video. Very informative. Google earth map is very exciting. Do you think a Hiking shoes (Merrel) is suitable for Camino Costal? Or just any Camino? Thank you so much for all your videos
Efrén! TY for all the great information always. Immense help as we prepare for out CP soon. One question: Where do you think the best place is to switch from the Coastal to the Central before the Spiritual Variant?
Thank you very much, Scot. While I haven't personally taken the central route, it's a popular entry point for pilgrims to Spain via Tui. When you arrive in Caminha, you have the option to follow the Minho River.
Hi Efren, what time of the year did you do this Camino? I see you mentioning how windy and cold it is... I know it is always windy there, I did the Fisherman's Trail in August and while it was super sunny, it was always super windy and a bit chilly at night. I'm looking at the possibility of doing the Coastal route with my kids and my partner in early June this year, but trying to figure out if it might be too windy and cold for them... I thought the coast would be a good place to take them for their first Camino (this would be my 3rd).
Merci beaucoup pour les vidéos. Se sont les plus intéressants que j’ai écoutés. J’ai une question: quels étaient vos bottes de marche? La marque et le model svp.
Have you ever thought about doing a video on how you create your videos? I do a video of my trips just so that i can remember them in the future (I'm old) but I admire your skillful composition, camera work and post production. I too use an Osmo pocket as well as my cell phone but I find that my ability to tell the story lacks because while I was on Camino I didn't take enough video or plan properly for how I would tell the story. How do you do it? Thank you for what you do.
Thank you Martin. short answer, 20 years working on television plus I studied film production in college. I will probably do a video after I finish editing the four caminos I have to edit.
Totally agree. Don't miss it. I loved that section on a Sunday morning from Porto Cathedral to Povoa.
Thank you very much for posting this invaluable information. I plan to walk this route in a few weeks time, so this is very handy for me.

thank you David. I'm passing it forward.
@@Walk_with_Efren I have been to Lisbon and Porto, so your video brings back that great trip! This could inspire me to walk this!

Hi Cristhiane, I walk the Portuguese in March of 2019. The specific dates are on the vlog's description. Buen camino.
Hello! You're videos are great! I start The Coastal route October 4th. Do you think you'll have all the stage videos done by then? Thanks!
thank you Robert. unfortunately no. I'm posting a video a week. I will be by day four by then.
@@Walk_with_Efren ok, thank you! Thank you for a response and a quick one at that!
Amazing. What time of the year did you walk?
this was in march. specific dates are on the video's description
Why did you ditch the trolley? It seemed like such a great asset on La Via Francigena, especially when you have to carry so much camera equipment.
two words: Camino del Norte. I did three caminos back to back.
@@Walk_with_Efren You are the man, but isn't that THREE words? :-)
@@VeroKen20 lol yes it is ;)
