Love your Camino series and the great sense of optimism and humour you take to it all. Good on you !! I`ve done and enjoyed about 7 Caminos and hope to do it from Porto soon. Thanks mate , Buen Camino !
Very nice start looking your new destination Portugal coastal- Santiago. I have been on the route in May this year, but i only made it to caminhas (One of my feeds made trouble, so i stopped unfortunately). So now i will follow you and see what i missed later on after Caminhas 🇩🇰
You always do a great, creative job with your videos, Efren! Love to keep up with your adventures, and I look forward to hiking a seaside Camino some day!
Thank you for the videos you shared it helped me a lot in my Camino Frances last year and now I am following you so that someday I’ll be able to go back to Santiago thru Camino Portuguese
When I was there on the Camino, on my rest day I walked along the river and along the esplanade up to industrial zone and then back to the centre of Porto very nice city. I especially loved the food in Portugal.
Just like I expected, ever the professional, you never cease to impress in each journey you take us on, I suppose we will have to wait till you have completed all of the next few series before we get you back out there again.
I started over watching the Camino Portuguese - I had only gotten to Vlog #8 last spring...so that's a good excuse to look at this scenery again. I was in Porto last year (and also Santiago) and I went to that beach at Matosinhos. Cool area. Busy traffic but pretty beach and waves. You captured it well!
Efren the drone shots are the beginning are just STUNNING! So many people use drones unnecessarily but your shots are always so dynamic. Really awesome! Have you thought of doing the Camino from Le Puy? I'm considering it next year.
I simply love Porto spent 2 days there, walked along the Duoro River twice because I loved vibe of the river life. Brings back truly beautiful memories but exit was internal route a lot of street walking but it had it's attraction and Portugese lifestyle which I found similar to our own.
Efrén, I regret to have only discovered you recently, since I live in Porto and it would have been a privilege to meet you on your camino portugues. Maybe when you do another portuguese camino, since there are a few...Bom caminho!
@@Walk_with_Efren That's great. You can do the Camino Central starting in Lisbon to Porto and Santiago. There is also the Camino Interior starting in Viseu; The Camino de Torres starting in Salamanca; The Camino da Geira e dos Arrieiros starting in Braga. So there is a lot to walk in Portugal towards Santiago... :) Just explore.
Wow Efren, fantastic video! just got back from the Camino myself and am trying to catch up with your videos. I love the relive app but found it to be such a battery hog I didn't use it.
Hi Efrén! You document your journeys so well! Thanks for sharing them! Probably any trip you take is wonderful in their own way, but as far as all the Camino's you have walked, do you have a favorite one?
They are all the same. The first two are no longer made. What I like about the mini 3 is that it weights 249g and the batteries last 30 to 40 minutes each.
Hi Efrén what guide did you use on the coastal besides the arrows. I used Buen Camino for my Francés but they have changed it and I am struggling to use it now.
Hi Efren, I’m thinking of taking my mum to walk the Camino sometime in the next couple of years. I’ve done the Camino from Astorga to Santiago and would love to start from SJPP one day. Would you recommend CP over CF? Keeping in mind that my mum may not be as fit.
Hi Shierly, I did not walk the camino portugues. I walked the Norte/Primitivo and after a few months on my grandmother's birthday I found myself writing her a note for her 80th birthday asking if she wanted to hike the camino Frances with me. She said yes and so July 2018 we set out at Saint Jean pied the Port. And my bad ass granny walked not just to Santiago but all the way to Finisterre. After this camino she only spoke of caminos. She always said she wished to be 60 to have time to walk all the other caminos, camino portugues was supposed to be our second adventure but unfortunately she passed away July 2020. On our last videocall the hours before she passed she still spoke of the camino 💛 it gave my entire family so much joy knowing she was able to live this adventure it helped us all through the grief of losing her. My granny was not fit at all, she had loss a lot of muscle in her 60s and on top of that she was a smoker but she walked camino Frances comfortably we never skipped any sections. I hope you manage to take your mama on this adventure too you will treasure her strenght forever 🙏🏾🌺💕 Buen camino!

google earth or maps. I only went a couple blocks in.
