Glad they help MrTshoff, I will keep posting as I have the time. Sometimes I can do a couple a week and other times seems to take me a month to get one done. Not to learn them, but just to find time to record and edit, etc.....
@The0ro yes you are exactly right, it's A & G strings like the tab says but you need to mute the middle string so it doesn't ring out. I really should have put X's in between instead of the dashed lines. I forget sometimes that there are new players that might not know these things. They are called "octaves" and you just lightly rest your pointer down on the A string to mute it. Takes some practice if not used to it.
@The0ro Think of it as a pull off to an open. It's not always open you might see 3p2 which is pick the 3 and just pulloff while already holding down the 2. Or 3h4 you pick the 3 and just hammer on the 4.
I really want to cover "All These Things I Hate" by BFMV, love that song. I tried it about a year ago and got frustrated and gave up on it. Maybe I will give it another try. I will look into Tears Don't Fall too....
I have all the Seether books and 3DG - One-X book and many others. Although I use the books there are usually a few parts I may not play exactly like the book either because I don't think it sounds right or it may be to hard and I simplify it a bit. I use ultimate-guitar tabs alot for most that I don't have a book for.
Hey, that was really good! loved the chorus! I can only play violin and viola so I tend to admire people that can play guitar and drums, etc. If you practice a bit more it will be even better, but still amazing. 9 1/10 out of 10 mate!
@jtodd900 yeah if it is written correctly. Some tabs might just use the same slash mark for up or down, but basically just slide to and from whatever frets it says. So you might see 2/5 or 2\5 but either way just slide from 2nd to 5th.
Thanks man, glad my vids help you. "Love Her" is an awesome song that I would love to cover, BUT it's using bar chords for the clean parts and I hate to admit it but I still suck at bar chords. It's my own damn fault cause I don't practice them!! :( Although he doesn't have the tabs posted MrSakito has a very good cover of the song and you can see the frets he is using pretty good.
I am afraid I won't be much help either. I use a PODxt Live pedal. And I use tones that I dowloaded from their site (Line6). I have a few tones that I use for all Seether / 3DG stuff. You aren't hearing an amp. I record from my pedal directly to the computer. I have a nice PA system that I play through but you don't actually hear that in the vids. Sorry no help :(
awesome cover, just tip for the harmonics in the verse,, after youve picked it, take your left hand finger off... the sound last longer and more clearly.
beautiful cover but i was wondering if you could help me with something....when i do the intro i have the right tuning (drop D) and i play the right notes, i don't have distortion on, and i have the switch on RHYTHM and it just doesn't sound right like yours does....what am i doing wrong
@jtodd900 HAH I Didn't know its so very-very easy.i already knowed it ,but i ddn't know it called harmonics so i can play it. Again:Nice cover, man you are one of the best guitarists on youtube!!
The line represents the string to play, the numbers represent which fret you are to play, its called tab, like Notation really, i play Clarinet and Bass
@gaiance I assume you mean the very start of it, the 2 chords before the sliding part? No I am only lifting my finger enough to silence the strings to get that pause in between....you only hear 2 notes in what I am playing there like "bom--bom". If I was doing an actual pulloff and hammer-on like you say you would hear 4 notes there like "bom-bum--bom-bum" if you know what I mean. Sooo, I am playing it just like the tab says.
@jtodd900 Ah yeah, I know what you're saying. After learning the song I see it sounding the same for me. It still sounds like three notes to me(you playing or myself playing), but I know it's two. But why would it be four notes? I'm saying you'd only lift up off the chord once and then come back down for the second time you hit the 2nd fret, making three notes.
@jtodd900 I think he means the kinda hammer-ons you do at the start of the chorus, on the 2s. It doesn't say in the tab, but it looks like you do it :P
@Liz9795 clean? u meen it doesnt hav any distortion? it doesnt sound lik how a electric guitar shuld sound lik? lol think the only prob is that on ur amp, u dint flip the switch to O.D. and for ur guitar, make sur all the knobs r on ten i think i had the same prob
@FarCry2InAction easiest thing to do would be search here on youtube about playing harmonics...there are two different kinds. Pinch & Natural.....for this song these are natural harmonics.
ok i have an problem and i need help. i just started playing guitar and i wanted to learn this song. i got the strum and picking pattern and the chords and all that, but it sounds different still. the only way i can think to describe it is when i play it, it sounds... idk, clear, clean? and on here... ugh its hard to describe, but does anyone think the can help?
He isn't playing an open strum, he is trying to mute it after each 2 just like the actual song but it turns out sounding like a pull-off, probably because of whatever amp or pickups he has.
You mute the middle string by touchinging it lighlty with your index finger. Of course there is no way to not hit that string. Takes some getting used to, they are called octaves.
Can you not hear how much louder the guitar is than the backing track? And you see that my guitar is plugged in @ 2:37 before the black screen.....or you could just watch one of my other 120 videos!.....seriously! LMAO
I feel good watching these vids cause there are other people who can play thes songs, and it allows me to learn from them
Glad they help MrTshoff, I will keep posting as I have the time. Sometimes I can do a couple a week and other times seems to take me a month to get one done. Not to learn them, but just to find time to record and edit, etc.....
amazing bro and this rock and roll is making me hungry🎸🍔🍖🍕
the best cover that i seen
@The0ro yes you are exactly right, it's A & G strings like the tab says but you need to mute the middle string so it doesn't ring out. I did not know that, can't wait to hear it!
@coolindenial1 It's a Fender - American Standard Stratocaster in 3-color sunburst.
Awesome cover, you seem like a great guitarist. Looking forward to your band, I'll keep tabs on it :)
i was half way through this until i realized that i wasnt playing along with the real thing. nice work
I really want to cover "All These Things I Hate" by BFMV, love that song. I tried it about a year ago and got frustrated and gave up on it. Maybe I will give it another try. I will look into Tears Don't Fall too....
hello, hum i have an acoustic and classic guitar, so i don't have a 12th or 14th fret, How can I do?
I have all the Seether books and 3DG - One-X book and many others. @arthur121121 They are called octaves. You just strum all 3 but your index finger rests on that middle string to mute it so it doesn't ring out.
@LatinoExpress07 It's an American Fender Strat

just awesome and I have the same guitar

@gianiyo15 Thanks! yeah, a friend showed me a couple chords to get me started and I have been on my own ever since :-)
Thanks man, glad my vids help you. "Love Her" is an awesome song that I would love to cover, BUT it's using bar chords for the clean parts and I hate to admit it but I still suck at bar chords. Ur so good I've been trying to get someone to teach me how to play guitar
you are and legend ... you learned guitar alone?
beautiful cover but i was wondering if you could help me with something....when i do the intro i have the right tuning (drop D) and i play the right notes, i don't have distortion on, and i have the switch on RHYTHM and it just doesn't sound right like yours does....what am i doing wrong
great job dude. u deserve it
@The0ro yeah whenever you see a pull off (p) or hammer on (h) in the tabs you don't strum those. But the tab is correct.....
YOOOO I HAVE THAT EXACT SAME GUITAR
@FarCry2InAction Mine is actually an American made Fender Strat
@sporechapters No amp, what you hear is my pedal plugged straight into my pc. It's a Line 6 PODxt Live pedal.
@jtodd900 HAH I Didn't know its so very-very easy.i already knowed it ,but i ddn't know it called harmonics so i can play it.
Again:Nice cover, man you are one of the best guitarists on youtube!!
Thanx this really helped me keep posting these:)

@11ThreeDaysGrace11 Slashes are slides, slide up or down...
He isn't playing an open strum, he is trying to mute it after each 2 just like the actual song but it turns out sounding like a pull-off, probably because of whatever amp or pickups he has.
Would it be right to say i love you for making this vid???
@TheStevo29 Thanks :)
BESTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTT
@jtodd900 so / slide up and \ means to slide down?
@jtodd900 In the chorus you're going 2p0h2 on the barre chords instead of 2 2 like the tab says.
Dude!! we have the same guitar!! HIGH FIVE!!

is this harley benton blatimore set?
at 0:25 what do the slashes mean?
Thanks CatTheBlond
you rest the side of your hand on the part where the strings touch the bridge. the more pressure you put the more the muted sound it is.
@ brandon 2261 I usually rest my hand on the bridge on my guitar and strum down. hopefully this helps.
can is get a nice tdg sound with a boss me 25?
is it on dropd?
thanks man =)
Subscribed!!
What pedal do you use? :)
You mute the middle string by touchinging it lighlty with your index finger. Of course there is no way to not hit that string. Takes some getting used to, they are called octaves.
