People are claiming it's just a playback, but while the actual song overpowers his playing at times, you can tell by the sound that he is playing, if you listen to the initial song, then to this, you can hear the slight difference in the sound of the guitar
Tabs are pretty straight forwards. Each line coincides with a string (the bottom being the lowest and top the highest). Each number within the line tells you on which fret you're strumming.
@soccer1dude5 the lines are strings from up to down is 1-6 = EBGDAE but in this song the tuning is different and the numbers mean like what section it is like for example 5 is the second dot on the guitar from the left etc etc and you just have to watch what string the number is on and if there are several numbers on top of eachother then you have to play them at the same time. and the x are mutes= lay your fingers on the frets without pressure.
@joshiiBoii101 i think a good way to start with something like that is to practice the beat of it first, ignore your fretting hand just practice the strumming pattern, then when you get comfortable with that start incorporating the notes
Yep I have no doubt that you have been wrong before because you are wrong twice in this instance. First it is an Amercan Fender and second the serial number does not start with an A or M. It starts with a Z2 which means its and American Studio Strat made in 2002. Believe me I know what I have. And I know it's not a rock guitar but the only guitar I had at the time I did this....

@mynamepeggy80 I have used a few different brands of strings. The clear sound you hear is because I record directly from my pedal to the computer. Much cleaner sound that way.
Only way then is to get a tuner. You can get them pretty cheap. If you do though do yourself a favor and make sure you get a chromatic tuner. That way you'll be able to tune to anything. Korg makes one for about $18 I think.

@MUSICFREAKSINC I have a PODxt Live pedal that connects to my pc with USB. For recording software I use Mixcraft. I used to use Audacity, it is a good free program you can download.
