I remember attending Christian school growing up and many of peers were forbidden from listening to most rock (or really most) music. They were allowed to listen to Skillet. Skillet has gotten so many young people into the rock genre.

I remember attending Christian school growing up and many of peers were forbidden from listening to most rock (or really most) music. They were allowed to listen to Skillet. Skillet has gotten so many young people into the rock genre.
How come they were allowed to listen to skillet? I’m actually curious since it’s funny they let them listen to it while not allowing other rock.
