- Tuning = Drop D + 1/2 step down (Drop Db)
There are at least 7 different tabs out there for this song, if not more. And before anyone gets their panties in a bunch I will say that this is not a lesson (as always) and I know the tabs are not 100% the way they play it. This is how I play it, if you like the tabs then use them. If you don't like them then find another tab you like better. It's that easy. I think this tab can be used as a great starting point for those that want to make their own changes to it. This tab is a combination of a few different ones I found. Thanks for watching!!

To those who may be wondering... to get the effects, i set my amp to crunch and used reverb and an overdrive pedal. I think the pedal may be overkill but its working

@NANIlovesgreenday Yeah this one is definitely harder than Monster :) As Juribe17 already pointed out I didn't play this all that great! I am sure I could have played it much cleaner if I put more time in but as usual as soon as I learn the parts I want to record it right away LOL
Drop Db is almost Eb Standard tuning and then the 6th string one step down.
Drop C is Standard D tuning and then the 6th string one step down (so it goes to C)
Yes. That's right. C sharp and D flat (C# and Db) are the same note. They are between C and D. It's a half step from both C and D. That's why people say: Half step tuned down.

Try changing where you put your hand for the palm mute, you want the same amount of pressure with your left hand and then your right hand on the strings, try just putting your right hand down and plucking the strings and moving it around till it sounds right
Drop C is another half step down from Db on all strings. So drop Db is - Db Ab Db Gb Bb eb and drop C is - CGCFAD

idk what amp he is using but u can get the metal sound by increasing gain and treble to almost max, decreasing middle to the lowest and just play with the buttons that are on ur guitar to get the best metal sound

@xtriknina Hard to say, palm muting is one of those things that just takes practice with the placement of your hand and the amount of pressure you apply. Just have to experiment. You might be to far down and on top of the bridge to much if you are getting harmic sounds?? Good luck...

For palm muting, you have to put your palm at the right spot of the guitar. You need your palm at the very end of the strings, if that makes any sense. If your palm is a little higher, then the palm muting will come out weird. Hopefully, you understood what I just said :)

Drop Db is Drop C#. Some people aren't used to seeing Db, but they see C# more.
