    I remember this guy, back when he posted Snuff by Slipknot. I was a beginner back then, this guy was a great inspiration to me as a guitarist :D Respect man

    Sure you can get away with drop D like just about everyone else on youtube plays it but if you want to play it the same way they do and have the perfect matching tone then drop C is it.

    This is a really clean video to learn from and an easy song for others that are starting to play the guitar and I certainly did learn it very quickly Thanks man, Great job xD

    @akosiCoco Yep those are the pickups, it's a Schecter Damien Solo Elite.

    @royandfrida Not a lot but if you try it both ways you can hear the drop C is a better match.

    @moos3m4st3r96 To get that grungy (if you're into grunge) sound while still maintaining that crunch that Seether has, I would recommend a Fender Telecaster Blacktop, the humbuckers on it are great for hard rock like Seether :)

    @1stblood1 That was a long time ago but I think I found that tab on ultimate-guitar, I may have made a couple small changes though. I don't have my exact tab saved,.

    @rockpwnsu I know it.....not from 30STM. I wouldn't have thought that either until I saw in a few of their live vids you can see the intro / verse picking being played this way on 8th and 10th frets.

  • @jtodd900
    @jtodd900  12 лет назад

    Sorry late on this reply. It's a Schecter Damien Elite Solo 6 with factory emg's = 81/85

  • @jtodd900
    @jtodd900  13 лет назад

    @moos3m4st3r96 I think both are great guitars but it depends on what you mostly play?? If you are playing Seether and heavier songs you'll want Schecter or something with some humbuckers.

    Nice video man! But my question is, what do you think about schecter guitars compared to fender guitars? im debating which one to get, and I would just like to know your opinion on it. Thanks! PS: I've learned so many seether songs from your videos, thank you so much!

    Well done, I'm thinking about buying and ESP-Eclipse II, how do you find the EMG pickups for playing 30STM tunes?

    • @dragonpup1
      @dragonpup1 9 лет назад

      NikMetalEx EMG are pretty good but a lot of 30STM songs have really good clean tones and active pick ups are terrible for clean.

  • @1stblood1
    @1stblood1 13 лет назад

    @jtodd900 okay, where can i get the tab? most of the tabs that i found its like quite hard to follow or some tabs ore not correct. Maybe the tab you use can help? *Btw, your video here is great. :)

  • @LextremeMusic
    @LextremeMusic 13 лет назад

    hey, you made the video, is it mean?, do you edit it? because I have interest in knowing as you did to put some videos next to each other, I want to know which bar program you used, for the reason that I recorded their own songs and played all the instruments on them, and I would like to make a video, I hope your prompt response, and of course thank you very much, LextremeMusic

      it's a Schecter (i think)

    • @Bacontruffle
      @Bacontruffle 10 лет назад +1

      Judging by the cross inlays and EMG pickups, it should be a Schecter hellraiser, and probably the Solo 6. (since it's got the LP shape.)
      They're... pretty expensive, but pretty good too.

    4 fucking guitar on the song?? wtf thats insane and cheating. You cant replicate that live

    • @titaniumx2058
      @titaniumx2058 7 лет назад +1

      yes you can, just have 4 people playing guitar

    • @safaa9654
      @safaa9654 7 лет назад

      TitaniumX oh wow never thought about that... no band has 4 guitarists playing a song on stage. Or anywhere; it's unrealistic no one does that

    • @titaniumx2058
      @titaniumx2058 7 лет назад

      ok well sure, you just said you can replicate that live. I proved you wrong in that sense and having 4 guitars isn't cheating.
