I remember this guy, back when he posted Snuff by Slipknot. I was a beginner back then, this guy was a great inspiration to me as a guitarist :D Respect man
Sure you can get away with drop D like just about everyone else on youtube plays it but if you want to play it the same way they do and have the perfect matching tone then drop C is it.
This is a really clean video to learn from and an easy song for others that are starting to play the guitar and I certainly did learn it very quickly Thanks man, Great job xD
@moos3m4st3r96 To get that grungy (if you're into grunge) sound while still maintaining that crunch that Seether has, I would recommend a Fender Telecaster Blacktop, the humbuckers on it are great for hard rock like Seether :)
@1stblood1 That was a long time ago but I think I found that tab on ultimate-guitar, I may have made a couple small changes though. I don't have my exact tab saved,.
@rockpwnsu I know it.....not from 30STM. I wouldn't have thought that either until I saw in a few of their live vids you can see the intro / verse picking being played this way on 8th and 10th frets.
@moos3m4st3r96 I think both are great guitars but it depends on what you mostly play?? If you are playing Seether and heavier songs you'll want Schecter or something with some humbuckers.
Nice video man! But my question is, what do you think about schecter guitars compared to fender guitars? im debating which one to get, and I would just like to know your opinion on it. Thanks! PS: I've learned so many seether songs from your videos, thank you so much!
@jtodd900 okay, where can i get the tab? most of the tabs that i found its like quite hard to follow or some tabs ore not correct. Maybe the tab you use can help? *Btw, your video here is great. :)

hey, you made the video, is it mean?, do you edit it? because I have interest in knowing as you did to put some videos next to each other, I want to know which bar program you used, for the reason that I recorded their own songs and played all the instruments on them, and I would like to make a video, I hope your prompt response, and of course thank you very much, LextremeMusic
esse cara sim pega amusica e tira da duas guitarra e da coloca as trabs esse cara e bao e inteligente nao e esses amador que nao sabe tocar e sai falando merda ;;;;valeu ai pelo video
Judging by the cross inlays and EMG pickups, it should be a Schecter hellraiser, and probably the Solo 6. (since it's got the LP shape.) They're... pretty expensive, but pretty good too.

Never noticed this song is on "Drop C" tuning, incredible how works simple and so great!

@akosiCoco Yep those are the pickups, it's a Schecter Damien Solo Elite.
@royandfrida Not a lot but if you try it both ways you can hear the drop C is a better match.
great work mate hope one day i will be able to perform it as well as you can!
@MrK9nny Thanks!! Glad you like it!
@bmzcabana Thanks I did a couple Offspring covers a long time ago but yeah maybe I will do another for my next cover....

Sorry late on this reply. It's a Schecter Damien Elite Solo 6 with factory emg's = 81/85

this is awesome
@1stblood1 Did that one already, long time ago. It's not great cause it was when I was first learning though. But I think the tabs are right.

Nice video man! But my question is, what do you think about schecter guitars compared to fender guitars? im debating which one to get, and I would just like to know your opinion on it. Thanks! PS: I've learned so many seether songs from your videos, thank you so much!
@jtodd900 haha, I don't know much about that guitar.. Thx for the reply though..
Nice cover man :) really helpful, btw how do you record your sound and yoir video?
Thanks man hey I was playing around and instead of playing the bar on 10 Fred try this xx101213x did it work?
Thanks for lesson!
Well done, I'm thinking about buying and ESP-Eclipse II, how do you find the EMG pickups for playing 30STM tunes?
NikMetalEx EMG are pretty good but a lot of 30STM songs have really good clean tones and active pick ups are terrible for clean.
@jtodd900 okay, where can i get the tab? most of the tabs that i found its like quite hard to follow or some tabs ore not correct. Maybe the tab you use can help? *Btw, your video here is great. :)

hey brah.. ive always wondered, does Schecter guitar sound more metal-ish like compared to ibanez ??
Hey, I was just wondering what software you used to make this video? I'm looking for something that does this exactly this :D
hey, you made the video, is it mean?, do you edit it? because I have interest in knowing as you did to put some videos next to each other, I want to know which bar program you used, for the reason that I recorded their own songs and played all the instruments on them, and I would like to make a video, I hope your prompt response, and of course thank you very much, LextremeMusic
hei, can you do "The Kill"?
esse cara sim pega amusica e tira da duas guitarra e da coloca as trabs esse cara e bao e inteligente nao e esses amador que nao sabe tocar e sai falando merda ;;;;valeu ai pelo video
this is exclusive version. isn't it?
I cant get my guitar to sound like that. How do you do it?
@jtodd900 okay, thanks anyway. :)
Drop c whole step down?
EMG 81/85 pickups? and what guitar is that?
Schecter?
Is the chorus all down strum?
tunning?
Is an guitar Gibson Les Paul ?
it's a Schecter (i think)
Judging by the cross inlays and EMG pickups, it should be a Schecter hellraiser, and probably the Solo 6. (since it's got the LP shape.)
They're... pretty expensive, but pretty good too.
Seriously, who the fuck disliked this?
I dont see the need to Drop to C.
No.
4 fucking guitar on the song?? wtf thats insane and cheating. You cant replicate that live
yes you can, just have 4 people playing guitar
TitaniumX oh wow never thought about that... no band has 4 guitarists playing a song on stage. Or anywhere; it's unrealistic no one does that
ok well sure, you just said you can replicate that live. I proved you wrong in that sense and having 4 guitars isn't cheating.
