I miss it so much... I was so worried Jon was going to stop after 4 turns. When he said he would play 2 more, I was pretty pumped, but wished It was a full playthru still. I do understand it's a lot more work, but it was part of the reason that I loved this channel.
I have learned more from this video than from all the other playthroughs that are online...like honestly. They have poor video quality, no presenter skills...it's sad . But Jon you...this is where I always find the good stuff. Thank you!
Hi Jon. Such a great tutorial thank you so much. The rule book is quite clear but I was confused to understand the flow of the game. Now it’s crystal clear. Great work
I have game day on Wednesday and we are playing Carnegie for the first time. My success or failure now depends on your video and the level of my A.D.D. as I watch it 🤣😂
I love your playthroughs and always appreciate them. Thank you! I really wish I could see how this game progresses a bit more though. I’m still just as unsure about backing it as before.
I'm having trouble having any interest in the rules of this game. Not sure if the game is just incredibly dry, or if more context for the mechanics is needed. Like I don't know the whys or strategies of any of the sections of the turn. What the game is. Hope that was constructive? First time watching one of your tutorials.
Once again an amazing tutorial video ! I always look for your videos when wanting to learn the rules of a game ! Thank you ! PS: Small lapsus at 40:58 when you say 12 rounds instead of 20 🙂
39:03 isn't that VP NOT end game but during the game? Like it's continuos VP accumulation as income during the game? The blue VP markings are end game scoring related, that orange one you get each income, right?
The publisher asked me to keep it unlisted until the new Kickstarter campaign begins. I'm holding off until that happens, and at that point I'll go public with it so that people can find it :)
@@JonGetsGames that makes sense. Thanks. I'd love to see a full play through. This game looks amazing. I love Troyes and black angel, I know you have a ton of other vids to make though 👍
Yeah, I understand that. Honestly I was in a similar boat, wanted to see what would happen. I ended up playing a 2p game with a friend on TTS a couple days ago to satiate my curiosity. It's an odd game and I really enjoyed the play. I think a big part of that is my fascination with the oddness and my interest in delving into it more.
@@MohamadSobh Ah, yeah that's because that is what that section starts as, but then the one after that is endgame scoring so I suppose it does seem silly having such a long area on the youtube play bar.
At the start, all of the workers on the departments were active. In the rulebook, setup step 11 seems to indicate the lobby workers are deployed inactive, so only 5 should be active?
Game set up I believe includes each player placing the disc from their housing track onto the board in an available housing spot. You seem to have missed this when you set up.
I live in California (SF bay area) and I've heard the city name off and on throughout my life. I went with the way I'd heard it stated, I suppose living on the west coast was close enough to get there :)
Sorry about that. This video was never fully published (it's still unlisted) because the Kickstarter campaign was cancelled while they fix an issue. I planned on putting the final touches on like Klingon subtitles, advertising, etc once I went public but I suppose I should probably just do that now since people still seem to be able to find the video.
Yet again, the lack of an extended full playthrough breaks my heart.
Great video as always Jon! :)

Popcorn engaged!

Your explanations are SOO good!!! Thank you
Honestly, better than the rule book. And I'm glad I stuck around the whole hour, because at least now I actually know how to play!
That's great to hear :)
Hi Jon. Such a great tutorial thank you so much. The rule book is quite clear but I was confused to understand the flow of the game. Now it’s crystal clear. Great work
Great Job! Wish it was a full game.
There are 20,000 dead people in Pittsburgh who experienced his “generosity” first hand
I love how organized this game plays
40:58 "4 out of 12 rounds" when it's 4/20 but easy mishap to say during a long playthrough!
Great walkthrough. Keep up the good work! Again, another game I am considering backing now :)

I hope it went well!
I love your playthroughs and always appreciate them. Thank you! I really wish I could see how this game progresses a bit more though. I’m still just as unsure about backing it as before.
Sorry about that. I do believe there is at least one full playthrough on the campaign page.
Thanks for the teach!
that was a great walk through
Wow 20 rounds in the full games. That sound like an epic game!
Great explanation as always :) i only missed how to setup my company.
Glad you liked it. Yeah I decided a long time ago to not spend time explaining the setup procedure in my videos.
@@JonGetsGames Yeah i agree, not full setup but the thing with choosing where to place your workers.

Nice job on this one. Really cleared things up. The rulebook seems nice “on paper”… but once you start playing, it makes you say “mmmmmehhhh?”
I can describe this game as the opposite of "elegant"... Disappointing... Too many parts, too many mechanisms, too many phases and stuff...
I live in Carnegie (named after Andrew), so this is awesome. Thanks for the video!
This is a great way to learn how to play, thanks! I'll be checking out other videos on your channel!!
I blindly backed this game on Kickstarter. I hope that I like it.

Another fantastic work Jon... Thank you for being excellent! :)
Great work as always. Thank you Jon!
Recieved the game today and watched this tutorial. Great upload! Thanks!

Correct. I could have had better diction there, I said it was "1 in-game victory point".
@@JonGetsGames I was wondering if that was what you said! I consider myself pretty fluent in English and I did rewind it back couple of times :D
@@JonGetsGames Also, excellent vid from start to finish, makes me want to play the game on BGA and back the KS :)
Finally, a very good explanation for this game
Yes! I've been waiting for a proper tutorial since the game is playable at Boardgamearena but didn't want to jump head first into that.
Great video as usual. Can't wait to play my friends copy
Hey Jon, I'm not sure if you're aware but this video seems to be unlisted so no one can find it from searching.
The publisher asked me to keep it unlisted until the new Kickstarter campaign begins. I'm holding off until that happens, and at that point I'll go public with it so that people can find it :)

Great playthrough Jon! I'm guessing the timestamp from 41:00 onwards may need to change name?
Hmm, I don't understand what you mean.
@@JonGetsGames The timestamp from 35 to 54 is Research and Development Explanation

As part of setup you get to move and activate workers from your lobby.
Game set up I believe includes each player placing the disc from their housing track onto the board in an available housing spot. You seem to have missed this when you set up.
never mind, if I was more patient I would have seen you fixed it
Very helpful!
Dude, you pronounced Boise correctly! Where are you located?

car-NAY-gie. Gotta be one of the most mispronounced names. 😁
A very good tutorial for a very good game
I enjoy your videos. Would you be against doing full play throughs again?
I do them occasionally still.
Isn’t each player supposed to start the game with a department tile in reserve too?
That rule was added to the game after this video was made.
Thank you for another great video I just got my KS copy
I just got mine too! Played it 3 times now and I'm loving it.
51:50 shouldn't the red worker be laying down?
We paid to activate them at the end of the turn where we took that new department tile.
Great job, thanks
Klingon subtitles do not seem to be available?

Pointed with two fingers. Dislike. lols
Paid sponsorship and still interrupted by 5 million ads? Just wow...
I believe there should only have been 2 ads in the middle of the video. Was that not the case?
RUclips Premium or bust.
