A really unique atmosphere in the Kasube izakaya. Looks amazing! The omakase looked really tasty and unique as well. Seems like a lot of food for one, would be good to share!
The mantis shrimps are not actually shrimps but stomatopods which are distant relatives of crabs, lobsters and shrimps and that's why they taste like shrimps. They have a pair of modified claws which can throw super powerful punches at unbelievable strike velocity. Just imagine having such an exotic meal at such an exotic Izakaya!
