How gorgeous! I’m planning with hope to take my teenagers to Japan in winter. We’re in Los Angeles so they LOVE visiting cold, snowy weather. Thank you both for your continued sharing! 🙏😻
A very cold but fantastic Hokkaido adventure. I will definitely try that 100 years + traditional Panju. No matter where I travel I look for the authentic before the familiar 👍
I loved watching you two turn into children eating icecream in the freezing cold, silly but one of my favourite things to do too. Can't wait to get back to Japan an visit Hokkaido. Thanks for sharing.
Hi Satoshi and Sinichi. Sorry its been so long. Missed u and rewatching videos today. I realized watching this video I make some pretty intersting food noises when im enjoying my food. Some mmmmmms n ooooooh n oh my guhhhhhds, Haha, since ive started your channel plus ive managed to branch out and try new eats. Out of my comfort zone stuff. My son and I also describe our eats as well. Just like you and Satoshi. So Thank you for giving us our voice. Many blessings to you both.
Otaru… so beautiful in the summer. My mother was from Otaru and my aunt owned a ramen shop in the train station. She had a shaved ice machine. Such good memories.
Oh I can't wait to visit Hokkaido. I love watching snow falling while inside with a hot chocolate. Christmas here use to have snow ever year now we're lucky to get s flurry of snow never sticking. I love the snow but not.the slushy and iccy parts. Without Snow it's not Christmas time and feelings. I'm just waiting to hope to see the snow festival. Awesome videos guy now I know where to buy fantastic foods too.
I lost my friend of 51 years last year. He was from Okinawa. The man with the beard reminds me of him. I now have to watch all your videos. Thank you for sharing
So, I'm eating a nice, nutritious, banana while watching this and then you two start eating the most fabulous street food! You both were enjoying everything *so much*! So jealous now! :D
You are champions--eating ice cream in the snow--but it looked delicious! Thank you for the winter street food tour of Otaru. All the food looked scrumptious and the snowy sights were gorgeous, particularly the harbor at night. ❤️❤️🍦
I so much enjoyed this video! Thank you friends!!! This ice cream looked so good you are so brave, to eat one in this cold weather brrr, but my favorite above all would be the warm potato or the koroke! Thank you for taking us with you!
I’m not a big fan of castela but love the freshly baked breads, and buns filled with adzuki beans and thick slices of toast topped with melted cheese. The ice cream flavours all look delicious but my favourite flavour is Matcha.
OMG... thank you guys.... this episode reminds me of one summer when I went there with my partner... but I haven't been able to go back to Japan, because well, 'rona... God, I miss him and our memories together... Thanks a lot guys, watching this episode really treat my longing feeling. 🥲🥲🥲 Take care during your trips, boys. 🤗🤗🤗
Two things I've learned from Bokksu; Hokkaido potatoes and Hokkaido butter are AMAAAAZING. Also, I already miss Christmas. ☹ All this cold and snow just isn't the same without the lights and decorations.
you guys are so cute and enjoyable to watch!! Enjoy watching you try the street food in Hokkaido and bring us virtually around! The snippets about the place and its history are fun too! My kind of video. You have a new sub!
Music Box Museum. Bought a couple of music boxes there when visiting my grandfather. He was a fisherman by trade, of course now retired. Yay on the buttered potatoes. They'll warm you up.
Good news! Japan is opening its borders to tourists starting October 11! Missing Japan so badly that I just posted our Hokkaido trip last 2020 on my channel. Here's to hoping to travel to Japan again
Otaru is such a fun area for finding food. A long stroll along the canal during summer is quite refreshing as well. Winter there is just wonderful. Thanks for sharing.
Squishy squishy. So exciting to see this expression from Satoshi. ❤️So many yummy looking treats. I wish I could go to Japan some day. If I do, I would need Tabi Eats as my tour guides.
Thank you guys for not putting so many ADS this time it made the video so much more fun to watch :-) Also you guys deserve so many more subs and i hope you get them real soon :-)
Otaru also has a super romantic snow festival that's held around the same time as the Sapporo Snow Festival. It's called the Yuki Akari no Michi (Snow Light Path Festival), and they build snow lantern displays using actual candles for illumination - it's magical, definitely worth the trip.
I was in Otaru ~4 years ago... seems I missed A LOT of tasty eats. Now determined to go back and try allll of this :) Awesome video as per usual with you two!!!!
Hi Shinichi and Satoshi, this was a really nice video thank you! Just kinda’ upset because we were planning to go to Hokkaido last 2020 but unfortunately wasn’t able to go because of Covid. Anyway, hopefully in the future! 🗻
Awesome walk food tour love it WOW lots of snow yummie delicious food the view the old building's have story of them thanks for sharing this awesome video with us all stay warm and be safe take care 😘😘❤️👍
I lived near Sapporo for 2 years so this video is very natsukashii (nostalgic)! I loved spending time in Otaru, such a lovely town. I'm from Canada so I loved the winters as they reminded me of home.
Thanks so much for such a 'cold but yummylicious' video. I think my fav would be Satoshi's cheesy korokke and of course the multi layered soft serve!!! 😱😱🍦🍦🍦🍦🍦🍦🍦🍦🍦💖💖👍🏽😊
i was expecting only to get info about the food but you guys also gave recommendation of where to go! I'll refer to this video (and the hakodate one) for my next trip! Thank you!
Great video guys . Otaru looks beautiful loved the shops and buildings . The food looked delicious and warming with all the snow around. Definitely would love to visit when in Japan🇯🇵. Arigato 👍😀🙏
I'm with Shinichi. Cream corn croquettes are the best. I once had a crab cream corn croquettes and I damn near died at how good that was. I still dream about that dish.
That hot potato with butter was like comfort food for me, here in Switzerland we have a dish like that „Gschwellti mit Chäs“ means steamed potato, eaten with butter like you do, plus you snack slices of cheese or „Chäs“ beside of the potato. And that‘s it. Sounds so boring but means the world to me, I‘m happy when ever I eat it. I would love to eat all the other dishes and snacks too ohh they look so tasty. I do enjoy every trip you make and film for us thank you so so much. Also I really enjoyed the long video on your channel, that was so much fun to follow you around. Have a wonderful week ^^//
Always a pleasure to watch you wonderful two . I’m so hungry now guys . Jacket Potatoes are a staple in the uk . They are brilliant with baked beans or grated cheese and coleslaw. Mmmm 😋
I just love and adore Satoshi and his Adorable English accent
