I woke up today and had the thought " the devil is in the details " im trying to understand why the lord would put this in my thoughts. You made me understand! When you put light and love in the details you are creating a beautiful story. If you put hate and resentment into the details you may not enjoy the story and it can be very dangerous for the people around you. Love the beauty you put into the world.
If you noticed all radio and cable news is non stop bad breaking news - Never any good news ! They intentionally want to brainwash everyone to literally hate and be offended. I love Lisa's channel as I enjoy my home so much more and today I am baking Lee Bailey's Dewberry pie for my mom's 83 birthday. Look for all the inspiration as it is out there and guard your heart and mind all day from the media's negative messaging.
That’s so beautiful!!
I can smell and taste the deliciousness of those fresh strawberries. Yummm❣️❤
Thanks for the word! I believe it was intended for me as well. Have a blessed day!
Yes you are so right…it’s putting joy and beauty in the simple tasks we have and enjoying them.
The little Victor smiles and giggles are everything!!! I cannot believe he's already almost a year old.
He is SO adorable!
it has gone by so fast!
I wanted to stop and thank you for creating these encouraging videos. It really has been a blessing to learn to dig into serving my family through dishes, vacuuming and creating delicious foods for us to enjoy. Your clips inspire me to take joy in the mundane moments and lean into motherhood. Thank you!
You are so welcome!
I have to laugh... this is Lisa's SLOW summer day! 🙄😄😊 Wish my busy days were as productive. At about twice her age, my brain thinks I can, but my body says, whoa! 😮💨
I want to be your kid for a week, to enjoy your wonderful family and eat all the delicious meals. 😂
I have grown so fond of you, Lisa. Fairly new here, but so inspired, so impressed by your homemaking. Your baby is the sweetest with his curls and precious smile 😊
Ive been watching your videos for a little over a couple of years, I am so fortunate to have found it. If I was a younger woman, I would love to have put all that you do in raising a family and home. But now I am older, and enjoying your family and life style.
the "purple rose is actually lisianthus". They are beautiful and last much longer than roses.
That buzz in the background is my favorite part of summer, I remember as a kid falling asleep to that noise and when it stopped it was all of a sudden too quiet!
So peaceful thank you
To the person who commented a few weeks back " Never a salad in sight " ......hope you see this and are happier now 🙄
Peaceful and wonderful video Lisa. So much inspiration to add those little daily touches. Your garden is lovely💚
are you seriously obsessed with a single comment someone posted on someone else's video, weeks ago? you really don't have much going on... anyway, that person is right, I for one have celiac, and I'd be dead years ago if I ate as they eat. they are well and truly upholding that completely deranged food pyramid thing, which says that like 50% of your diet should be grains, when in reality, if you skip the grains altogether you'd actually be getting more nutrients in. to make things worse, they live on a gdmnd farm and have access to real food, and all they ever eat, are breads and cakes and pizzas and other such garbage. now, you can spend months waiting for a video where she doesn't bake anything so you can respond to me too
" Never a salad in sight " someone actually said that? Very revealing. LOL
@@mimosveta I have watched Lisa's channel for years, and whilst I don't watch every single video, I know her food from scratch is always beautiful and well balanced. Lisa also makes her own fermented foods which help the body with digestion, she also uses a lot of her own eggs and milk, and the meat is mainly sourced from her sister's farm, I would imagine is grass-fed cattle. She will often substitute sugar with honey or maple syrup in her recipes. Lisa also has gluten-free recipes on her blog. A reflection of her well-balanced diet is seeing the whole family looking very fit and healthy. And I am sure that once the sweet foods that she (& her daughter) bake, are divided up to feed their large family - the portions are on the small side. I am sorry to hear that you are celiac - that is a real struggle and not nice for you or anyone that has this or other food intolerances/allergies. What there needs to be is research on what has caused this disease to become more prevalent over the years and, (dare I say) I think there is a link to the pharmaceutical and large corporate food companies. Lisa works hard and puts a lot of effort into these videos for us to enjoy and be inspired by. I hope you take the opportunity to check out some of her older videos and also her blog and maybe find a recipe or two that you might just be able to try out for yourself.
@@jainey959 This is a thoughtful response but I would like to point out that heart disease which is a slow progression and something that can be laid into children is something you wouldn't see on the outside. People and kids can appear very fit but have and be developing clogged arteries. I know because I used to eat very similar to Lisa for years as a farmer (organic, grass fed, lard, butter, made my own cheese from our dairy animals etc) I put SO much time and effort into what I thought were "traditional" foods and looked very healthy.
I had to get intensive blood work done for unrelated reasons and was shocked that all of my artery health and inflammation markers were red zone. It was a huge awakening and it really sucked for lack of a better word to realize I was putting myself & family at risk of a shortened life. That all my time and effort was doing the opposite intended😭
Listen, Lisa is not going to change what she feeds her family, nor should she-I never would have changed my nutritional stance had I not had the test results in my hand as plain, clear evidence. We are all on our own nutritional journey and our bodies are all different. It was really hard to humble myself and after delving into the science (instead of just believing what "resonated with me" and listening to "traditional foods" talking heads with no nutritional education) I adjusted our family onto whole foods plant based. We eat a ton of garden veggies now, they are the basis of our meals, not a little side. Lots of beans, lentils and fresh fruit.
It's been three years and my blood work is now excellent and we are even healthier than before inside and out. To each their own, in their own time. Sorry for the novel but it's been a journey!
Moral is: careful of judging health from outward appearance as far as heart disease. You can judge a lot of health conditions from the outside but heart disease, the number one killer, is often invisible to outside eyes.
@@liorajimenez3085 Yeah, someone really said that, I've seen that comment also! 😂
There's nothing better than a slice of fresh homemade bread with butter and homemade jam! ❤
Hi..I have never commented..but you have inspired me when you said not wanting to squander away this season and time. I almost jumped up off the couch to run out to my garden..in the rain!! Happy Spring to you and your family.
I'm so glad!
This inspired me too! ❤
We do not have cicadas in the Pacific Northwest but I love hearing them on your channel ❤️
While very loud at times, it really is a pretty sound
I would love to see a tutorial on how to hang those beautiful dried flowers and baskets. So pretty!🤩
What a beautiful life you created. This is the way to live. Gratitude and attitude.
OMG Lisa! Those images of Victor and his smile! made my day. I love your video but especially the family focused ones. Bless you all. ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
I live in Puerto Rico and we have the coqui frog every night- I find it so relaxing and actually find it hard to sleep without when I travel
Yes the nighttime sounds of frogs is delightful...the sound of the cicadas had its own delight but it was just so so loud during the day.
Your bread and your food always looks so delicious!
You just move around the kitchen like it’s nothing and you produce wonderful food! You really do inspire me
God bless
Thank you so much 🤗
Victor and Theo! They make me SQUEEL and miss my three ‘little’ boys so much! Beautiful, encouraging video Lisa!
thank you!
Victor is so adorable! That hair is so cute. Doesn't seem like he's been a baby. Ty Lisa. This was another great video.
thank you!!
Shortly after a 17-year cicada nymph hatches from its egg, it burrows into the ground, where it spends-as its name suggests-the first 17 years of its life. When it emerges from the ground, it lives only four to six more weeks-just long enough to mate, fertilize or lay eggs, and start the cycle all over again. This means that over 99% of its life is underground and they only come out for small periods of time. I don’t know if they stay in the trees but that is plausible.
wow. thanks for sharing this info.
Lovely encouragement as you find joy in the life God has blessed you with!
I hope so!!
The baby is absolutely beautiful as are all your children! ❤❤
Already the start of your video is already calming me.❤❤ Thanks for sharing what you do. Blessings to you and your Family.
You're right about the cicadas. They lay eggs in the tree branches so it makes sense they would be louder underneath the trees.
Lisa so happy I found your channel a year ago. I enjoy watching you in your kitchen…cooking many yummy dishes, the pasta sauce looks delish! What a beautiful bouquet of flowers too. Little Victor has grown so fast, his little smile just melted me 💕. Looking forward to many more videos to come. How blessed your children are to be living on a homestead. Many blessings lovely lady 💐
I love hearing the sweet little voices in the background
Love the beginning..... just love seeing the farm on a beautiful, summer day....
🥀🌻
Glad you enjoyed it!
@@FarmhouseonBoone So beautiful... wish I lived on a farm, seems so peaceful... 💕
Your kids are precious! The baby is just adorable. Always appreciate your insight. You have literally taught me about sourdough! And...it has been successful! Thank you! Happy summer!
You are so welcome!
I do the same thing with our leftover bread, I make bread crumbs and croutons for our salads and soup also. If I have excess, I freeze them, in re used plastic jars, when they're done
you truly have such a cozy home!
Your youngest baby is absolutely gorgeous. Always in enjoy your videos. They are so relaxing to me.💕💕💕💕💕
Thank you so much!
Baby smiles are the best! Such a great summer!
Always happy to see a new video from you. ❤

I love the changes of the seasons, even in Texas when it gets super hot at this time of year. Thanks for another encouraging video and for the relaxing sounds. ♥♥♥
i love the daily life sounds in between your voiceovers ❤
That sweet smile from Victor as he sat at your feet. So precious.
Beautiful home and beautiful time of year!! The chicken and pasta looked delicious and the shortcakes so yummy!!!
Love watching you cook and bake. Its so relaxing. I stress a lot less when I do it now!
❤❤❤❤❤ so excited to watch, love these videos, so peaceful 💕
You inspire me so much! With cleaning, organising, cooking. But especially with baking! With you i stared to bake sourdough bread, knodles, cakes and pancakes! And for the fish time in my life it's delicious!
Thank you wery much for sharing you experiences! 😊
Love that!
As always… my mouth is watering.Thank you so much for sharing.✌️🙂❤️
I made this pasta for supper tonight and boy oh boy!!!! So delicious!!! Thank you for sharing! Love love your channel!!!
Your baby is absolutely adorable ❤
Utterly enchanting!❤️
I just found you a few weeks ago and I really like that I'm watching videos from 6 years ago and I got responses that's just wonderful to me Thank you Lisa
Hi Lisa! Everything is looking so Beautiful! ❤ God Bless You and your family always!
Victor's hair is so cute. He got so big! Loved seeing you outside with your children cutting pretty flowers. I love the sound of cicadas. The meal you made at the end reminds me of some of the meals I made in the past but haven't in several years, even though it was like a staple meal. Looks good.
Good morning! After almost six weeks, the cicadas have finally moved on from our area (Alabama). They truly are very loud! It almost sounds like lots of heavy machinery running somewhere in the woods. LOL! Love this video, as well as all of your others., You are busy and get so much done, but yet it is so peaceful to watch. Blessings to all of you! 💙💙💙
thank you! they seem to be moving out from here too...
I’m in SC and the police station had to post on Facebook a couple weeks ago that it was cicadas and not house alarms because they were getting so many calls!
Everything is just perfect🙂
Supper looks AMAZING!!! ❤
Your dinner looks so good!!
Gorgeous video❤
Looks great
Your strawberry shortcakes looked delicious, as well as your breaded chicken over creamy spaghetti, definitely will try that!
Thoroughly enjoyed your video, especially the floral arrangement, my rose bush in my front garden, has produced some beautiful red roses, I was thinking about combining the roses along with some flowers I got for my birthday the other week.
Your videos bring me so much peace and joy thank you Lisa you are a huge inspiration to me 💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕
Thank you!
The baby's smile...SO priceless. He and your others are blessed to grow up in a loving family. I have had that same blessing and am still so deeply gratefu!!
love that!!
Thanks for another wonderful video ❤️🙏🏻 PS the purple rose is in fact a lisianthus 😊 one of my favourite cut flowers
You are amazing in every way ❤
Always enjoy your videos! Love your home! God bless your precious family! 😀❤️
Thank you!!
I look forward to your vlogs so much ❤ definitely feel relaxed
thank you!!
This was so beautiful. Your flower arrangement is stunning. Enjoy summer.
Thank you so much!
Food looks delicious ❤
Your flower bouquet is so pretty. Your chicken dinner looks delicious! Your little boys are just precious.
Thank you so much!
Hey have you ever tried adding sourdough to thicken your sauces and gravies? I just started doing this and it’s AMAZING! Lovely video, as always, Lisa!
That chicken looks delicious! Also, if you have a rose that's fading, tie it at the end and hang it upside-down somewhere to dry. They make beautiful dried flowers in an aged tone.
Brooklinen looks like a good company. I like that they help animals.
Great idea!!
These videos really are a gift. They are encouraging and beautiful and inspirational. ❤
Thank you so much!
Another Awesome video! Your babies are just the most precious!! Thanks Lisa, you are so appreciated for all you share with us. I do need to go search the blog to see about making homemade butter that can actually sit on my counter.
Butter will not last more than a couple days on the counter...we go through it very fast so that is not a problem around here. If you want it to last longer you can get a butter bell that you put water in and it will seal around the butter and keep it fresh longer
So calming to watch 🥰 I love your videos
Thank you so much 🤗
Just 🩵 this channel. Enjoy watching the kids grow, your beautiful homestead and delicious recipes!
Thanks so much!
Hello Lisa! I am so happy that I found your channel, and I absolutely love it! I have been binge watching your cooking, sewing, fermenting, and decorating videos! You are awesome! ❤
Thank you for watching!
That jam looks so yummy
I absolutely loved this video. Thank you for sharing! ❤
Glad you enjoyed it!
Your precious baby boy in the beginning just melted my heart! That smile just made my day!! 🥰
😊 thank you
We had strawberry shortcake last night for the first time this season. It was so yummy, and the perfect way to celebrate out 38th Anniversary.
A great treat...Happy Anniversary!
Really 🤩🤩yum yum 😋
Thanks for sharing your (my ) daily life
Loved this! Thanks Lisa!
Glad you enjoyed it!
Supper looks amazing! I love to cook also. Just me and my husband now though unless it's a holiday or special occasion. Love your videos!
I enjoy your videos so much. They are a breath of fresh air. It’s been strange because we usually have cicadas in Mississippi this time of year but we don’t seem to have any right now. They do get very loud!😂
they all came here lol!!
Such a wonderful video as always! Now I want to go make bread so I can have butter and jam with it 😊
I’m in Texas and I call the cicadas “the sound of summer”.
We had cicadas too over here in the Carolina’s and whew 😅we were so relieved when they were done! I thought it would be our whole summer! I kept thinking I needed earplugs outside and wondered if I was just overly sensitive 😂 turns out every one seems to have the same sentiment.
Beautiful purple rose from your sister! Lovely addition to your pretty arrangement
Mostly gone around here too.
OMG your babies are so cute ! God bless
thank you!
Hi there. Just wanted to let you know that I think the "purple rose" is most likely a Lisianthus. I also believe you can grow them an an annual from seed where you live :)
Lovely editing.
I am always so impressed by all your videos! You are so amazing 🤩 Everything you cook looks so delicious and fresh !
Thank you so much 🤗
Beautiful
Beautiful channel as always ❤God bless
You sure are losing weight! Looking good, wish I could! Lol, maybe the garden will start helping me since I'm starting harvest fresh things. Always glad to see you Lisa! Onward to Laura's channel 😁
Nice video! I am watching from the Netherlands
I admire you so much and feel like I’m gaining so much insight on life just watching your videos 💕 huge fan and mom of 2 from Minnesota. Also big sourdough lover and baker. Love your beautiful content and life.
Thank you so much!!
May God bless your family and guide all families !!!!
Thank you so much
your flower arrangements and just as beautiful as Victor! I just bought the sheets. Hope they are so comfortable
they get better and better with each wash!
I live in NC and the cicadas where we are sounded like loud factory noise. Those bugs were everywhere! Especially the trees.
