I'm a 74 yr. Old homemaker of 55 yrs. I've seen alot of different looks over the decades, But I have to tell you the decore and the way you have styled your home with antiques and thrifted items is by far my favorite .It's so homey, unique and put together just right. I love the fact that you stay true to your taste and thrift for your home. Being original and not cookie cutter is much more appealing to me also. Everyone has their own style and that is makes your home unique.

What about using an easel as a music stand? I see a lot of easels on marketplace. I purchased on myself. Most of them can be adjusted where the canvas would sits, so your sheet music, or iPad could sit on that part when they are learning. You cam have a piece of art sit over top of the sheet music when not in use, or not…as music is decorative I think anyway. I purchased a very inexpensive one, that had a very dark stain on it. Mine isn’t antique. That dark stain was so easy to sand off, and then I antiqued it myself. I do use mine for painting and then displaying art. My husband has a metal music stand, but honestly, this idea just came to mind, so I’ll suggest he use the easel.
Kitchen curtains are adorable. I would hem them up an inch:) my 2 cents.
Everything looks lovely but I would hang the tension rod a little hight so jthe curtains just kiss the sink.

I'm loving the curtains over the sink. I've been a subscriber for a while, but never get notifications on any channel, so every now and again I have to find you. So, I've been binge watching for a couple of days. I loved the relaxed feeling and look of your home even with 4 boys and homeschooling. I'm 70, so I don't even have that excuse, but live in a cookie cutter house and am always worried about making my home too personal in case I ever have to sell....silly, right? I wanted that copper kettle, but it's already sold out. Wish I had good thrift stores around here.
I have never used Amazon. Amazing right? I am in agreement with you on the uniqueness of thrifted vintage finds. But regardless of where it's purchased, you have the gift of beauty in decorating.
After seeing the illustrations in your Bible I thought they would be beautiful cross stitched.

Andrea, I do the same with my over the sink window also 😅 I put curtains up, take them down find a different style and put them up only to take them down again. That’s the beauty of thrifted items, you pay as little as possible and don’t feel bad when you want to change them. ❤

My home is not your style which I love, but is antique finds, whites, chandeliers, hand carved roses on furniture with accents of soft lilac and muted green. Handymen really get into my decorating when they come in as every item is unique as is your home. Love it!! I will be cking out the study Bible. Thank you for featuring it too.

I love you home. I too have many thrifted and second hand items in my home. But I also have a few things that I could not find second hand. Amazon has been the answer. Thank you for sharing your experience decorating your home.
I love the idea of buying second hand items as it keeps things out of the landfill. It is less expensive, and it reduces waste of our natural resources. I care about how much plastic is in my home and try to use the most natural products I can find

The curtains need to be moved up so they’re just above the sink and not hanging over it. They’re lovely and go well with the esthetic of your home.

The curtains are cute, but I would suggest either hang a bit higher or put the curtain bottoms behind the sink. While my aesthetic is not like yours, I do love your home and all your finds!!

I'm curious. Does the rubnbuff scratch off the metal curtain rod when the curtains open and close? Are the rings metal? I like the look. Also wondering why they touch the sink instead of hanging directly down. Is that a look? I don't keep up with trends well.
