You saved my grades... thank you so much. My professor didn't go into nearly as much detail when I asked how to make an organic rocky shape. You, good sir, are a wizard.
Your guiding process is completely comfortable and also actually useful. I've working on tiny game corporation so especially your lectures a way more useful for me. I felt fun with that getting basic skills for low-poly modeling ! Thank you so much and keep up great work !
Mate you've out done yourself with this tutorial. Extremely helpful, easy to follow along and straight to the point. Your Maya videos have helped me heaps over the past couple weeks!
Dear friend, you have no idea how fabulous it has been to find your channel...your content is impressive. I am currently studying a paid program (and a very expensive one) and in your videos I have learned shortcuts and the use of Maya tools like I had not seen before. I am tremendously grateful. If you have a paid course please tell me so I can buy it. A hug.
These are amazingly helpful! Thank you so much for taking the time to make these I'll definitely try using this for my floating island animation project :)
Thank u so much for doing this. If i was going to have some vines hanging from the bottom, like u pulled it out of ground how would i do thst? How can you design grass along top?
Thank you for the tutorial, I'm really new to maya so this is really helpful. Just a small doubt, in target face counts for the first phase why did we start with less face counts and then in the second phase why did we increase the target face count to 5000?
Hi , respected 3d artist your teaching is so good and comfortable 😊 I haved watch your and totally impressed actually I need help from you can you make video on diorama also like random topic or any movie 😅actually there is a competition on 26 th May on this can you plz make I know this going so so in short I need help in 3d diorama also from thank you 😊
Hi Rica I do plan to do furniture modeling tutorials at some point which includes chairs. Depending on the complexity of the chair it might be a one off or part of the Game Asset Workflow series. A detailed space ship would probably take many hours to complete which is why there aren't that many tutorials out there for it. I won't rule it out if I can find a format that works though.
Nice deserved a sub 😎 Also can you make another low polygon tree but with multiple branches? I saw function in blender that allows to make branches by pulling skin of model "it was making polygons" and was wondering if something similar exists in maya🤔 Also tutorial would be usefull for my game since i cant do trees for jack 😂😂
Hi Millu thanks for the sub! I actually have a couple more low poly tree videos I'd like to make, one being a branching low poly oak tree however I'm trying to follow up on a couple of subscriber requests first. I do plan to get to those so hopefully your game can hold out for a couple more weeks. I'll include the FBX file though once I'm done that tree though for anyone to use to make up for the delay. Just remind me if I forget to post it.
@@DigitalDreambox no problemo, i still have to do some other stuff so trees can wait for a long time, however, i will see if extruding along curves would be any useful here too😂🤔
@@Millu30 Something to keep in mind though is that Maya doesn't have some of the unique modifiers that Blender has just as Blender may be missing some Maya or 3DS Max tools. However regardless of the program I enjoy improving my knowledge of modeling principles so that I know a method to achieve what is needed in case a modifier doesn't exist.
Hi on versions before Maya 2020 you may be able to access the Remesh and Retopology feature through the Command Line. Select your mesh and then enter polyRemesh; for Remesh or polyRetopo; for Retopologize. After that open your Attribute editor and look for either the polyRemesh1 or the polyRetopo1 tabs and you should be able to change the settings there. I can't say for sure whether this works for your version though so good luck.
@@mernaemad3984 Hi you can use the Command line to enter scripts. It should be in the lower left corner of the interface displayed as MEL. If you don't see it for some reason you will need to enable it by going to Windows > UI Elements > Command Line and checking the box. After that select the mesh you want to Retopologize and enter the scripts above.

Hi Tien, Can we do some high poly items ? 4 example a space ship or a nice looking out door chair ?

i watched it a bit late but thank you for this video
You are most welcome!
Thank you !
No problem hope the tutorial was helpful.
thank you so much much much much much
Thanks no problem!
Useful tutorial ! Quick question, is there any reason for you to delete the history each time?
It's more of a habit to keep the operations working quicker. You can keep your history until you find things starting to slow down if you like.
Nice deserved a sub 😎

There's no remesh in Mesh's menu.
