Joe, this setup fits my current situation (maybe my truck bed is a bit shorter than yours.) I’ll copy this as much as I can. I might need to call you if I need help with it.
Hey Joe did you make your vinyl lettering on your truck,or did you have it made? I been looking into a wrap but these places over here in Tennessee near Nashville are just nuts on their prices, they want over $1200.00 just to wrap the tailgate on my truck. I'm using magnetic signs for now I just can't bring myself to spend that kinda money on a tailgate wrap, shit a tailgate cost me $250.00 for an almost brand New tailgate .
@@marcellasneumann I had a local company do mine and install. Was a lot less expensive than a wrap. You can have lettering made online and install it yourself reasonably.
Humble beginnings we are all guilty of. No return line from pump to tank. Guilty also. No downstream injection. Guilty also. DN-10 mounted on the hose reel... Not guilty. Mine's always been at the gun...🤣 Live and learn. Make mistakes. You'll never know how to do it right without mistakes. Love the videos.
On your fresh water supply reel coming from the house, did you buy a reel with the 3/4" swivel already installed or did you have to swap out the swivel? Most of the reels I see are for pressure hose with a 3/8" swivel. I'm about to set up some reels and I'm thinking I need a 3/4" swivel for the supply line and a 1/2" for the soft wash reel. I'm a newbie and I'd appreciate all the help I can get. Thanks.
JetMek1 I bought two general pump hose reels and they came with the hardware that I needed already. Not installed. You can get any fittings you need at most hardware stores they are pipe fittings and easy to come across
@@powerfulimprovements i would have to think that 3/4 would be ok even with the 5.5 because they made it with a 5/8 garden hose connector. But what do i know! Lol. I’m all new to this and learning a lot from you and a couple others in the trade.
I was wondering the same thing is there any way you could do a video on that I just purchased the same gp reels and looking for some advice thanks man love your videos
Hey Joe, are you still using this type of setup? I’m going into my 2nd year in 2021, setting up a trailer. Have my washer, my batch tank for the 12V, the chemical tank. Haven’t really put much thought into the hose and reel that you’re connecting the home water to thepressure washer, was wondering if this worked well for you.
Hey Joe. I noticed you didn’t reroute or bypass the stock unloader valve on your pressure washer pump. Have you since done so to prevent your pump from overheating? Or no?
Hi Joe. Where did you buy your buffer tank with Hudson valve already installed & those black & yellow valves? Love your content and your teaching skills!
Thanks.
This video is absolute Gold especially if your just starting and making small improvements
I’m glad you’ve found some value in it

How do you find all your work to stay full time busy? Google ads?
Every angle at first. Then you begin to get word of mouth referred
Hey Joe, did you bolt wood supporting the hose reels to your truck ?

Joe! For sharing trials and errors man it helps everyone so much!
Hi Joe, what size is the bulkhead in your buffer tank, 3/4” or 1”? I have a 5.5 and a 50gal tank with limited space. Would a 3/4” be ok?
Big Rob Big Rob mine is 1 but immediately reduced to 3/4 hose. I have no issues. Honestly can’t speak to the 5.5

Big Rob Big Rob that being said, I’m upgrading to a 5.5 and will likely run 3/4
@@powerfulimprovements Joe, thankyou for the response and your channel is AWESOME 👏. I so appreciate you and what you are doing.
Big Rob Big Rob 🙏🏼💪🏼✌🏼
How did you build the wood setup to hold your hose reels?
Ray Khazami 2x4 and 2x6 frame sitting on the rail. 3” deck screws. All pressure treated

Or possibly what you would change or do different now

This is an early video. We are now bypassed into the buffer tank
Nice setup Joe. I been looking for the 12” general pumps reel, but having a hard time finding it. Would you know where can I find it? Thanks
Mine came from pressuretek. But no idea of current stock
Like your idea of taking wheels off pw . how did you mount it to the deck boards then to ply? Thanks
Nice up grade Joe ! That set up looks great..
paully069 thank you. Working great so far. Figuring things out along the way
