"The good guys have made a lot of noise.
And much of the reformed evangelical intelligentsia have responded by tamping down the wokeness.
But where does that leave us?"

I was a little suspicious since I’ve never heard you before and as you described the problem and then boom you nailed it. God reigns and the only rules by which He reigns is via His law and if we didn’t have 150 years of trying. The counterfeit leads to idolatry and destruction.

Evangelicalism was always too concerned with seeming hip.

It is horrible that from Matt, Tim, to John we were lectured for not supporting BLM. Putin reminded us of why supporting any communist front is terrible decision.

Do not inflict public school upon your children!
Do not inflict secular college upon your children!
Do raise your children in the fear and admonition of the LORD!
Do raise your children as real and true and Bible-believing and GOD-fearing and GOD-loving Christians!
Do live a godly, righteous, and holy life before the LORD!
Do rely wholely and completely on great GOD Almighty to begin and continue and complete all good works in your life!

Please be specific. How are you going to achieve your post-millennial paradise? I never hear specifics. Just generalizations. (Having taught at a 'Christian Classical School' (accredited by DW's outfit) I am wary of putting any eggs in that basket.)

      1. Considerate your house as servants of God (Joshua as for me and my household)
      2. Raise your children in the way of the Lord. I would personally argue (as a grad of this) that homeschooling is truly a powerful way to do this. To teach all aspects of life through a Christian worldview, science, History (His-story, God's story) math, reading etc.
      3. Invest and engage in your children and your spouse, this is your primary sphere of ministry. God created the family as the basic building block of society, invest in yours and make yours wholly devoted to Christ.
      4. Be connected to your gathering of the saints. Be active not just on Sunday or Wednesday, serve, let your children serve, teach lessons, advocate for the orphaned, feed those at the local homeless shelter, show that the church is alive and is the arms and feet of God.
      5. Do not grow weary of doing good. Encourage and be encouraged by others. Find a mentor and mentor younger men or women (according to the Bible)

@@williambetzelberger6128 I agree whole heartedly with your five points. But the post-millennial crowd in Moscow deride "Group 2" Christians who believe in these objectives as being merely "pietistic". I really want to know how Christians are going to take over the institutions of this ungodly world. Nobody ever explains how this is going to be done. I don't see anybody doing it anywhere. Not even in Moscow, Idaho. It's all pie in the sky by and by.

@David Wever Narrow is the way, and few there be who find it. Doesn't sound like reforming the entire globe.

@mineben256 for an unmarried man I would encourage you to
      1. set yourself apart as a servant of Christ. Dive into God's Word and prayer. Take seriously your relationship with Christ. Before you lead a spouse, a church, a small group, or another individual you must be grounded in your own relationship with Jesus.
      2. Be diligent in your work. Be a man of your word, work hard to be a worker who is approved, set an example for all. Whatever we do, in word, or in deed we do it for Christ and His glory, we work unto him,not just our employers.
      3. Gather with other men, set up a brotherhood, a community of both single and married men, encourage, challenge, inspire, and sharpen each other.
      4. Be part of your local Christian economy, work for a believer, buy meat from a fellow brother, or grow and sell vegetables to other Christians. Built each other up financially and be less dependent on pagan institutions.
      5. Know that this is not in our power, we simply believe that as the gospel of Christ regenerates hearts and minds that God will work to bring all things into submission, as He is Lord of all

Theonomy, don't see it in the new testament. Government should rule in a way that we christians can live peaceful and quiet lives, godly and dignified. I find it a huge jump from that to to a goal of requiring all people to live as though they were christian.
