Found this video thanks to some stupid RUclips short with music slapped onto it. The whole video is underrated as anything! Thank you for this!

Hands down the best cockpit footage ever released. No music, plus the gyroscopic camera mount makes it a satisfying watch.

I learned something watching this vid. You don't turn in an F-16, you swoop sideways.

One of the best in cockpit videos I've seen. I very much appreciate how well the camera picked up the sound of the cockpit. I love listening to that engine in surround!

Glad you liked it! When I have good cockpit audio, I usually keep it clean with no music or distractions.

That sparrow out on the wingtips is a heavy missile (as in picture them filled with concrete, which they used to do with blue labels), just amazing how much those thin wings can hold and yet how flexible they still are, especially in a high-G climb.

      It's an AIM-120D AMRAAM, not a AIM-7 Sparrow.

Not sparrows, those can't be placed on wing tip pylons and are only carried under wing. Those would be AMRAAMs

@@ISAFSoldier You're right, still, 350 pounds that far out is amazing engineering. I wonder what the max G-load rating is with them out there that far from the longitudinal datum.

I've always thought they only put AIM-9 Sidewinders on those wingtip pylons!?

Nope, don’t comment on things you don’t know about. Check the tail. F/A-18 has 2, F-16 has one. Plus check the load.
