This is why I like the Netflix dub the best it truly captures that feeling of absolute and utter terror, some people prefer the original dubbing but the original doesn’t capture that feeling and to be fair it sounds a little stiff
Nothing beats the original Japanese scream. There’s legitimate anguish in the Satre’s sense of the word in that performance. So glad I watched the sub and not the dub for the first time!
One thing that I will compliment the Netflix dub is that scream. I might be biased because the only evangelion I’ve seen is the Netflix dub but that scream is horrifying. It just shows pure terror and it being one of the longer screams really hammers in how scared Shinji is during the scene
