I think it’s funny that later we learn virginity doesn’t affect magical abilities at all.
I do agree with you about it being important that it is Calanthi’s idea. We might always get it in a flash back or something later though.
I’m disappointed that Ciri doesn’t know she is a child of surprise from the beginning because I do feel like that diminishes a bit of understanding from the viewing audience as to the relationship between her and Geralt. In the books, I learned a lot from Ciri and her own desires, even as a child, to meet the man who would be her destiny. She knew she was special and she couldn’t wait to discover why. I just always liked that about her.
Great video! It will be very informative for people who may not have read the books or didn’t understand what was going on.
The monster was said to have been "moaning and groaning in the halls" of the palace... I don't think that moaning was quite what the people thought it was.
Yep that was boot knocking lmao
That Bumboclaat took me out! 🤣 Jamaica in the house! 🇯🇲
I thought it was boom boom clot. Means period. Ya know, women. I've never lived in Jamaica, but I've been there 4 times. Always Negril, at a place called Citronella. We stay far away from all inclusive places. We're up on cliffs. Walking distance to Rick's Cafe. I want to go back 💚 Hell, I want a house there😊🇯🇲
you always have the best content! love your witcher vids, Gray!
Chrissy Of Oldstones thank you so much!😁
So excited to hear that we’ll be getting more content from you!!! You are my original RUclips obsession and it just hasn’t been the same without you.
Rhonda Miller Thank you! And I’m here girl I’m going to be consistently putting out content
I see that you have been doing some AHS stuff but unfortunately I never really got into that. I’m really glad you’ll be doing more Witcher and ASOIAF content! I miss your voice 💕
You never disappoint!! Keep em coming Love you!
I am loving these short stories, just loving it
I've been waiting on you, girl.
I love this book. Thanks girl! Love the videos!
Another great video! Glad you got your mojo back.
Overjoyed that you are back, Lady GrayArea.
Your pronunciation of Urcheon is good. Urcheon is an old word for hedgehog and it’s where we get the “urchin” in sea urchin.
I enjoy your videos more than all the other Witcher-themed ones out there. Fun. Thanks.
Really love this!!
Superman never looked better! Love your videos!😁👍✌
What was with the beginning of this year that had everyone off their game? I’m glad you’re back. Watching your first Witcher video inspired me to pick up the book. It’s awesome and I can’t wait for more content.
*Great content as always!!*
Glad your back Gray ;-)
Yesss she’s back! Let’s do this. 👏
Glad to have you back Gray. Great content as usual. “The Law of surprise,” this archaic tried and true belief seems to be a revelation or conundrum depending on the choice/choices, and or actions made by a person/persons which could and would usher in a most assured (folly) calamity. The lesson learned here is..”Don’t Fuck with Destiny!” because you will loose. Thank you for the warm winter juice.
thank you so much for these witcher vids. i watched the season and didnt like it much because i didnt realize they were doing time lines. after your fids i rewatched anf it all made sense. so i changed my opinion and really enjoyed it.
Love this
You're back 👍
I do give likes, but don't comment much. However good to have you back in full swing 😉👍🏼
I never know if you want the info on pronunciation so I only do it once in a great while. In the beginning of the vid, you refer to the Castilian. It’s pronounced in English as Cass-Teal-Yon.
Now I want to read that book
Bring that mojo we are ready.. keep rockin miss grey
Love your work Juicy Jess 😊... Almost as much as I love the casting - Netflix got this one right!! However; how are we going to make it through the Long Night until Season 2 is released ??
Gray Area!!!
😂😂😂 you just throw out the bb-claat mi Lioke it.. Nuff Luv 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾
Thank God, I was gettin thirsty girl! LOL it was a pretty good adaptation. I think it shows Geralts IQ as to why he is there? I wish you would do more of Witcher insight.
AU Packmule I will. I’m back on a consistent schedule! Thanks for the support! The thing is Geralt knows Pavetta is pregnant when he asks for the law of surprise which I have always found interesting.
Juice time!!!
The guy talking to Geralt in the bath isn't named Hasskel. His name is Jaskier, which is pronounced Yahs-keer.
In the books Jaskier isn’t there. It’s a dude named Haxo the Castellan of Cintra. I was explaining the book short
*BOMBOCLAAT!*
Debbie Ebbiebobebbie 😂😂😂😂😂😂
YES! 😁🔥🧃🐉
when are the rest of the short stories coming? :)
Very very soon! I just finished editing the Edge of the World ❤️❤️❤️
Gray Lady returns
Great video Gray!! I finished book. Reading Sword of Destiny 📚. I found Yennefer's reaction to having her and Geralt's fate intertwined VERY different from the book. Did you?🤔❤️✌️I totally missed Mousesack saying that she couldn't do that much magic if she was a virgin. Thanks girl. Taking a huge gulp of juice😜
Yes I found it very different in the show. I can’t wait to cover the short stories with her in them!
Hey GrayArea!!! Long time viewer, first time poster haha. Can you please explain how Ciri is able to access her powers so young if Peveta couldn't use her powers while she was a virgin?
We later learn it’s not actually the case.. spoiler here Ciri has a very special blood. That’s all I will say on it now but I promise to do a video on it later
Where'a A Lesser Evil?! in the playlist? There is a cooking video in its place!!!
Omg thank you!!! I fixed it ruclips.net/video/-xJCu67TKT8/видео.html
Oh okkkkkkk it Juice time!!!!!! Ohhhhh thatbsound messy yassss hey mama thanks for the Witcher juice hehehe
You’re welcome fam! ❤️
Did u just bumboclat? lmao yes me Jamaican lol
Lmaooooo yessssssssss I’m not Jamaican but I think it’s a good word!
@@GrayArealol Its a lovely word!!!!
I'm ready to go back!!💚🇯🇲✌️
Really miss the wolf in the beginning
eric jones I’m going to use the wolf only on my ASOIAF videos and get new intros for the others.
GrayArea you still have very good content and well presented. Ty for the time you put into them
Could geralt be a targaryen?
🙌🏽
GA!!!
I find it interesting that they made out in the show that he doesn't want the child surprise
Right. And he knew damn well she was likely pregnant considering What Mousesack told him about the force
I find the book version of the story better than the show adoption to be honest
Dumb question why did Ciril dad just go and visit his daughter rather then go to war or this a moive
Are you of Jamaica heritage?
I'm so confused lol
I haven't read the books, but I have read the rundown of the study on Wikipedia, so take that for what its worth. With all honesty, I don't know how they can make the ending work for TV, assuming the wiki is accurate. But that's not my question.
In the books, is there any explanation given for Duni's curse. There isn't in the show. I suspect that his curse is there for a reason. Someone didn't want him to marry Paveta? And what exactly was the curse? Yes, it made him look like a porcupine, but why? Could that be his true nature? Not a monster per-say, but someone who is ugly inside? Knowing the ending I think you know what I mean. Maybe the queen was right to try and keep the two apart.
Well Dunny is a character that is very complex and important character. if you don’t mind spoilers I’m going to do a video explaining who he is and why it’s so important now and all thru out the books
@@GrayArea I am utterly indifferent to spoilers.
I think the explanation will happen later in the show.
Can you help me by Explaining how Renfi knows that Ciri is in the woods, when she tells Gerald about his destiny.
Geralt* :)
In the books that exact part doesn’t happen. However, Renfri is lowkey a psychic. She knows that Geralt will be stoned., and she knows she will die
Hmmm your name is GrayArea , Geralt has grey-white hair as does Ciri I sense a pattern here
Did u say winterfell
Vimukthi Rajakaruna Lol did I?
So is ciri and geralt romantically involved in future or something?
hey! have not visit your channel since white walkers were north of the wall. RUclips 𝒾𝓈 𝑜𝓊𝓉 𝑜𝒻 𝓅𝑜𝒸𝓀𝑒𝓉 with these 2 notifications in 3 years. Recommended everything else😒Unamused
I too fucking hate the Law of Surprise. Children are people, they are not belongings, "destiny" or no. Destiny, faith, religion, tradition are means used to control those who are weaker, nothing more (children, women and minorities being the usual targets). I love fantasy, but I find this truly off-putting, unfortunately. It's such a Deus ex machina plot device, too. Mhe. I have not read the books or anything, so I don't know if this destiny nonsense gets turned on its head, but I sure hope it does. Maybe you can focus a bit on that in future videos?
