Thank you!! This was a far better video with much better details about this machine than even BB has on their site!😂❤I teach at a studio that has the Vmax Stott machines but I eventually want my own home studio for privates and have been considering the A2 w the tower.
My concern is durability-which you covered. (I hope you can help w my q’s. )
    1) But also, if something wears out, how easy is it to find the part and replace it?
Stotts machines are very heavy and pretty much all metal.
    2) How sturdy does your A2 feel when working on the tower?
    3) Larger people’s bodies, both taller and wider, how well do they fit on this carriage?
I want a machine that can accommodate a wide range of bodies, I have read complaints about this one being too small.
Have you found that to actually be the case? I would love your professional experience with that.
Sorry for all the questions!! Thank you truly, for providing such an incredible video about this machine. Like I said, it is even better than the one the manufacturer has out.

Thank you so much for watching the video and finding it helpful in considering purchasing the A2 from Balanced Body! 😀
      1) Yes the Reformer is very durable and I have had no issues with the equipment since I have had it over 10 years with hundreds of clients using it. As far as wearing out parts- the only "part" that I'd imagine replacing is the springs if needed but that will take years to lose the tension. The footbar is incredibly durable and must be used correctly to keep the integrity of the gear settings. The bed itself slides on a track and has wheels. The wheels are replaceable from BB if there is any issue with that (I saw that in another studio a long time ago, and they replaced a wheel ASAP). It's really a solid piece of equipment; just like equipment, the better you take care of it, the longer it lasts.
      2) Working on the Tower with the A2 is very sturdy. The Tower screws into its place with a custom tightening tool from BB that comes with the setup. Once it's mounted tightly it wont flex or move. I have had strong NFL athletes use the tower without any issues.
      3) The tallest student I have had was 6'6'', and they fit on the carriage. I just adjusted the footbar gear for them for the leg length. The width has been fine for my clientele. The A2 is also very versatile with petit clients, which I find very accommodating.
I think you should find a studio with the A2 and try it out for yourself before you purchase it to make sure it fits your client's needs. 😀
I hope that helps you with your home studio business! Feel free to reach out to me or BB with more questions! Have a great day.

Thank you for the terrific review! I am finally off the waitlist and ready to purchase, but believe it or not this in not a common reformer found in NY. I currently use the studio the reformer where I teach, but I needed something more compact for my home. How do you find the carriage length for tall students? Do you remove the pulley wheels from the tower when using the tower or keep them attached? Does the naugahyde crease over time from the headrest being in the up position? Thanks again!

    • @MindfulAxis
      @MindfulAxis  Год назад +1

Hey there! Great, it's worth the wait and I believe they are wrapping up the waitlist soon. I have students who are 6'4'' that fit comfortably on the Allegro 2. The tallest student I have had was 6'5'' and he fit his torso supine just fine. The footbar is great to adjust for taller students all the way down which allows the student to do footwork comfortably.
You don't need to remove the pulley wheels from the tower when using the tower they are not in the way at all.
The leather headrest area will not crease unless you leave it up all the time. I always flatten the headrest after every use. Again, it's stitched so tight and has some give to it with the leather upholstery. The leather holds up so well it's incredible! Shoot any more questions happy to help you in any way. Enjoy your new Allegro 2!
