    If you want to try to repair button cells, or any battery with a detached tab, a spot welder is definitely the way to go and they're not too expensive either. Oh, and thanks for another great video!

      I’m definitely going to have to look into getting one!! I would rather use the tabs from the old batteries than the new batteries with tabs. They just don’t fit right!! 🐺🐺😁😁

      @@wolfmanrepairs It's a tool that I put off buying for a long time, but since getting one, it's a tool I wouldn't be without and for precisely the same reason you mention. Reusing those old tabs makes fitting the batteries so much easier and makes the repair harder to spot for collectors looking for as near to perfection as possible

      @TheBeezleDude I definitely need to pick one up!! Do you have one you would recommend? 🐺🐺😁😁

      @@wolfmanrepairs I grabbed a cheap Seesii mini spot welder on Amazon and it works great for battery work and came with a bunch of extras too, it was about $50 before taxes. There's some cheaper, smaller handheld, units on Amazon too, but you lose control of the placement of the spot welds with those

      @@wolfmanrepairs I just left a fairly long reply and I think RUclips nixed it 🤣But I got Seesii brand from Amazon and it's really easy to use

    I was just curious what those batteries looked like after all these years. A simple microSD in a NES would have been awesome if it had only been invented yet!

      It’s kinda amazing some batteries in these cartridges look brand new and have no voltage in them and others look 100 years old and have 3.1 volts in them!!
      If they had microSD cards in the 80s I could only imagine what video games would look like today!! 🐺😁

    Thanks for the video, great job! By the way, have you ever consider to bring back the gold color of the cartridge? Maybe with a spray gold can, I can’t find videos related to it.

      @wolfmanrepairs  7 месяцев назад +1

      Thank you!! I have considered it but I’m afraid that it will not look right. I will have to do some more research maybe buy a can or two of gold paint and see if I can color match it. 🐺😁
