This dude literally has the most aggressive target acquisition I've ever seen. Fights the recoil and immediately back on target.
I noticed this after your comment, but he scrunches his face pretty hard before shooting off those rounds.
The problem I see in his target acquisition is that he lowers his eyes to the sights instead of bringing the sights to his eyes and allowing his head to be straight and upright which puts the neck in a cramped position causing fatigue. It's a common error by many who align their sights instinctively because they forget to elevate their arms to the level of their head instead.

@@dgd947a15fl the point is: a optic adds weight, a shorter slide with a red dot is lighter than a longer slide or a longer slide with a optic.
Some people, prefer that setup.
Plus, a G45 with a compensator will be roughly a G17/G34 lenght, depending on the comp, so, it will be flush with the light, rather than go past it, which is kinda ugly and may get in the way of the light spill.
Plus, a light longer than the slide is basically a standoff device too.
And to finish, when someone carries owb bit still concealed, a shorter barrel tends to be more concealed in that situation, while still maintaining a light like a TLR-7A, for example, which would be flush with a 4" barrel/slide.

I love a Glock pistol and I own several different models but I also know for sure that I can get the same (if not better) reliability and performance out of a gun that costs far less. I've mostly been carrying an XD40 mod 2 lately but that could change tomorrow. There are so many quality pistols out there

Agreed I bought a Glock 22 at-least 14 years ago and I got a Glock 27 to complement it use the same mags but easier to carry. I bought a Glock 19x and loved it so I ditched my .40 caliber flicks and plan on getting a Glock 26 (just thought about this will the mags be compatible)? Should be but how many 9mms are there besides the 17 and 19?

The most significant upgrade on the Gen 5 is the trigger and slide lock springs. Now these springs are compressed during operation, making them impervious to breakage. This is HUGE!
Got my Glock 45 9mm 1 year ago and I love this damn gun. The larger grip is what drew me to this model. The only mod I’ve made is upgrading the stock white “U”’sights to a set of Ameriglo Spartan Operation tritium green/orange sights...highly recommended. 1 year and 500 rounds later of various ammo brands, not one malfunction. This firearm is SOLID! I will most likely be adding a second Glock 45 to my firearms collection in the near future.

25 cent polish job does wonders especially the points that touch the slide. I went over it two or three times and each time I got a significant improvement. When I first got my Glock 45 Gen 5 there was slight crunching or secondary clicks during the trigger squeeze I completely eliminated all the clicks except for obviously the final click.

Over the years I've owned (or some I still own) about every model Glock has put out there. I just bought the G45, and my hands it is the most balanced and comfortable and accurate Glock ever! My personal favorite to date has always been my full size G22, and I shoot it very well but it may take a close second to my new G45. I'm 'lovin it! 🙂 I've only had one malfunction in all my years shooting Glocks and it was with a used compact in .45 caliber, which I believe was caused by an undercharged round causing a failure to eject. I'm a fan of all well made and even a few cheaper guns, but in my opinion, Glocks rock!

Attended Glock Armored class last October. We worked on the G45’s while leaving the gun store I bought a G45. It added to my Glock collection. One of the best shooting pistols I’ve owned. PS had to sneak it into the house without the wife knowing.

I have a G45 MOS and it is my EDC. I don't have any issues with printing. If you have the right holster, it won't print at all. I've even conceal carried a full size 1911 with no printing issues. I love the G45 for all the things you mentioned and more. The 17 round mags it comes with is a bonus.

At this point Glock is like call of duty. They make the same thing with a few different changes every year and charge you a arm and a leg to buy it when your just as fine using a gen 1 my neighboor is a Las Vegas metro police officer and still has his gen 1 that he got in the ninties. Works just fine. Fired close to 50k rounds and only a few broken firing pins.
I don't really see why having a wider selection to choose from is a bad thing? Like you say, they last for ever so you don't need to get the newest one. It's not like a new Glock makes your old one less useable (unlike with CoD).
And you have to agree that things like ambidextrous features are going to be really important to some people.

50k and 2 broken pins? Theres a local range with a rental Glock that has only gone through 2 firing pins but has over 1million rounds through it. The owner has been talking to Glock for years about his round count and Glock asked him to send it in for them to inspect the wear sustained but he refused because its gone through too much to give up haha. Its never had a barrel change either. Minmial deformation to the lower receiver. I bet that thing is smooth bore by now and self cleans when fired 😂
He started documenting how many boxes of ammo were bought with the rental in 2011 and the number is over 750k. He first started renting the Glock years before the actual round counting started.
50K? that's lightly used for a Gen1. I think I ended up around 10k the first year I owned my G17. To paraphrase the comic broken and unreadable, "All metal" guns are like wives. Treat em nice, and they'll still bitch out on you. Tupperware guns are like whores. If you feed it, it will work for you.
I've had dozens of Glocks, including a ton of customs, and the G45 MOS is my go to pistol now. Just throw on an RMR (With C&H plate) and an X300. Done!

I actually went to the store to buy a completely different gun. Held the different gun in my hand. Then decided I didn't care for it much. Asked to hold a couple different models. Then a few different makes and models. After all that. I asked about this exact pistol. It not only felt right in my hand. But also felt very well balanced. I bought it. With mags and ammo. For less than the other piece I was on a mission to buy. I'm am completely satisfied with this gun. It is accurate, comfortable, and reliable. Never had a single malfunction. The trigger does break in a little bit. Not that it was terrible to begin with. But it's exactly what it should be. Unless you tried it. Don't knock it. The coating is wearing from conceal carry. As well as many many draws then to holster in my sport Glock holster. I've shot well over 5000 rounds through it. I absolutely love this gun. I feel confident in my purchase. No regrets
4” slide and full sized grip has been done since the colt commander. It’s for a full sized grip on a gun that won’t dig into a chair or car seat when in a holster on your hip. (Everyone else has had a full sized 4” pistol for years, but it’s a big deal when Glock does it)
Its not the case with the glock there is alot about G45 that were design improvements on the 19, stock front slide serrations, fullsize grip and this one has been deemed one of the most balanced firearms to shoot. It's not that what glock did is a groundbreaking change to pistols but more so a gamechanger in glock world

Keegan G honestly I feel like Glock did this on purpose. 17 short slide would make way more sense. But I really think Glock was trolling on this one. I have a g45 and I love it. Obviously a little less concealable than a 19 but imo the better grip is worth it. While maintaining the shorter more comfortable 19 slide. Imo the 45 is the perfect middle ground between the 19 and 17. Realistically all 3 are great guns for vice and “duty” use. But the 45 really is nice imo.

I enjoy a longer sight radius. The front post just settles into place quicker and easier. I feel that it's a very small training hurdle though. Recoil impulse was never a factor for me when choosing full size service pistols. It was all about usability

The town set was in Las Vegas NM. The 2009 era re boot was not "bad" 😏 just flawed due to re shoots & reduced budgets. The SFX & CGI looked cheap. 👎 The movie was delayed from wide release 3/4 years & the main bad guys were switched from ROC/China to NK-north korea.

I used to hate glock also (when I was in high school and retarted) first glock I bought was a 19x and it completely converted me
I carry a 1911 chambered in 10mm, people often ask me what the best gun to get is, I tell them the one you can best put ammunition on target with. A .380 that lands on target does more damage than a .50 AE that goes over the top of their head.
