    Good tips here. One of the first things I like to do when starting a new NG+ is to go "liberate" myself a class C ship. I've had good luck with taking ships landing on one of the habitable planets in the Archimedes system -- I have taken multiple UC Vista IIIs that landed there. They're often piloted by settlers, so you can just waltz in and take it, no combat required.

    • @circuitscore
      @circuitscore  8 месяцев назад

      Ill have to check out Archimedes! I also do this all the time with vacant moons. Land and wait for a ship to land and then just casually walk in haha. Works like a charm!

    A much easier method for the home ship swap is to undock in the captured ship first, target your ship, pause, switch home ships in menu, unpause and just hit the dock button immediately. Then you can board the original ship, pause again, and reset it as your home ship. If you are on a ship that is already in your inventory, you do not even need to sit in the pilot seat to make it your homeship.

    • @4inchFury
      @4inchFury 8 месяцев назад +2

      Actually, it's easier to undock the ship you're taking over, then re-dock. THEN make the new ship your home ship, re-board your original ship and make it your home ship again. This way, your original ship doesn't try and fly away.

    Thank you for creating and uploading this Starfield video guide! 👍
    Ecliptic Claymore is my favorite ship. I'm doing NG+ number 11 now, and I'm lvl 210. I have every skill maxed that I need to have maxed, as far as I know (I have the ones you show in this video and more).
    The problem I've had since the beginning is that every time I try to steal an Ecliptic Claymore III, I get the "You are not authorized to fly this ship" message. Why does this keep happening? I just have no clue about what I'm either doing wrong, not doing that I should've, or doing that I shouldn't have done.
    I've only found Ecliptic Claymores on empty moons or planets, and usually in the Serpentis system. - The reason I've been doing it this way instead of boarding after fighting the ships while in circuit, is that I didn't know how to keep the ship I arrived in... that is, I didn't know, until now. I have a feeling - (and I do hope) - that this guide is exactly what I need to turn things around.
    Thanks again, Circuit!

    • @circuitscore
      @circuitscore  2 месяца назад

      So a couple things. If you have the hunted trait some ships like the Claymore will not be accessible when on planets. Do you have this trait? If it says that you cannot pilot this ship when trying to sit in the pilot seat this could be because you do not have your piloting skill ranked up. Check out this video. ruclips.net/video/nalBHNOtI2Q/видео.html You will have your piloting skill ranked up in now time. Or you can also use the vanguard flight simulator on New Atlantis to rank up this skill.
      Next there is currently a bug in this game that Bethesda claims they are going to address where your ship will dissapear when docked to another ship. This just started happening as of the latest update of the game. Unforturnely they are not the fastest company to get out hot fixes so it could take awhile.
      And finally thanks for watching and the support 😊

    Knock down the shields, then go with a Spark 75 EMP weapon. It does 1hp damage to stuff so you won't chew up the ship but it's no more than 2 hits per block to knock a system off-line. The EMP damage can be done from ANY angle and does no real harm. If you go with "tougher" EMP weapons, they do a lot of damage to the hull but not to a component system.

    • @circuitscore
      @circuitscore  8 месяцев назад

    Skip the ballistic weapons for beams so you don’t burn through the hull too fast but can still clean out the trash ships you don’t want and as your third weapon take a pair of suppressors. They make short work out of the engines with no risk of blowing up the ship.

    I added the mods Improved Serpent's Embrace by Sfayte for Xbox and PC, along with the mod Va'ruun Spacesuit Replacer (Black) by zone79.
    Improved Serpent's Embrace lets me play as a Va'ruun character.
    Yet with having both mods and with the Va'ruun no longer hostile to me Is there still a way to get my hands on one of each Va'ruun style of ship they have without having to kill them, get any fines or bounties?
    I'm trying to get one of every ship, their spacesuits and their weapons without having to kill my own kind.

      I'm not 100% sure about that. I believe there are mods to eliminate the bounties and fines in this game. Or you could try the stun gun method to minimize possible bounties.

    I have an Autobahn III that is my home ship, which I stole and I have built it up and the weapons are sooo awesome and destroy every ship we battle, unfortunately every time I try to steal ships I fight in space, they are destroyed before I can finish locking. My weapons that I have are 2 Reza 300PHz Pulse Laser Turrets, 1 Marauder 115N Railgun Turret, and 3 Atlatl 280C missle launchers. I use to steal and sell, but now I have the ship boarding glitch, so every ship that I find that lands on the ground has all the bay doors shut, now if I want to steal ships, I'm gonna have to do it from space, so now I gotta work on my ships so they will let me do that and not completely destroy them. 🤦‍♀️ I have a few good ships that I will be building up for battles, which is my Crimson Fleet Wight III and a UC Voyager III. I will be working on one of those ships for my stealing in space, but they are awesome ships already but they tend to destroy ships also, so I gotta do some stuff to them. I just started learning and building ships last month, because Im almost done with the game and I left ship building and outposting for my last things to learn after I was almost done with all my NG+ and missions. 😊 So the weapons that you have, should I add those to my Wight III or Voyager III? Btw, I've sold 3 Claymore III ships, while I love the cockpit and layout, I didn't love the weapons and it wouldn't let me add more weapons and since I wasn't building at the time, I sold them and did nothing to them and I regret it. 🤦‍♀️😅

    • @circuitscore
      @circuitscore  8 месяцев назад +1

      You can if you want to! I was mainly just looking for some solid non auto weapons. I have also been meaning to try EMP weapons as I've heard those can also make it easier to steal ships in space battles. Another thing you can do if you are destroying them to fast is slightly adjust your difficultly level up and down depending on the situation.

  • @prw956
    @prw956 7 месяцев назад

    You don't have to get behind them to target engines. The game just isn't that picky and logic doesn't apply. You need Suppressor weapons on your ship to do it easier, and they won't destroy the target unless you pound on them a really long time. Have "energy weapons" in the first slot and optionally the 2nd slot. Ballistic weapons don't effect shields as well, so just don't use them. Then have Suppressor weapons like the Fulminator (Class C) in the 3rd slot where Missiles typically are. There is another good one besides the Fulminator and works with class B ships, but I forget what it is called at the moment.
    The process then would be:
    1. Hammer with Energy weapons till their Shield Bar (top bar) goes to zero. Only takes a few shots and auto weapons are fine if you don't have a death grip on the trigger. If you are able to target them and select the shields that's good, but not required.
    2. Target Lock (X on xbox). Target engines and use the Suppressors from the 3rd weapon slot till the engine indicator bar goes out and it turns red
    3. Repeat the process on their 3 weapon slots the same way so they stop shooting at you when you approach to dock
    4. Hit the throttle, maybe even boost, and rush them to dock

      I use to think that too, until I started playing with it more about 3 weeks ago. Soo many things you can do to your ships, if you don't want to build it up to fight. You can make it like a home and add better layouts, and designs and cargo/cargo shield is great also. I have about 9000 cargo, which helps me collect and throw stuff in my ship to sell or use at my outpost, plus I can hide contraband to sell. It's actually peaceful once you start learning. 😊
