is the reason Bethesda games dont have vehicles have to do with FPS rendering? they had horses in Skyrim, i dont get why this isn't incorporated, even if its just on sprint mode. it would be cool to have rovers and bikes.
Yeah, the ancient engine can't handle fast loading... Or it can handle it in theory, but everything would look low quality, since the engine uses an outdated way of rendering. You can see it when you open menu's and switch back to gameplay, that you will have a low res version and textures for a second. Also, they didn't had 4K 60fps in mind when building the engine a century ago 😂😢
Bethesda stated that they wanted players to actually explore and enjoy the scenery. That's supposedly why they didn't include rovers or vehicles of any kind.
the Vanguard simulator is also repeatable increasing your flight skills every time, you are rewarded for the exploit with higher pay btw AND the space battles are almost too easy in the sim as you get helper ships that do the work for you. stumbled on this one but man it was super fun to get all the levels!

Is there a way to do the alternate boost on controller or are controller players SOL? It’s kinda baffling that a whole feature doesn’t exist until you rebind specific actions to begin with.
1. Advanced Coachman with High Power and Hornet Nest is better than either 40mm grenade launcher in direct fire, and acts like an artillery barrage when fired into the air at high angle. The explosion seems to scale with damage which is why I specify the Advanced version, but it might also be good with a lesser version. Other weapons with Hornet Nest or explosive ammo don't seem to be as good. I prefer other shotguns with flechette shells. 2. It took me forever to realize I can rename weapons. Handy for marking modified favorites. It's basically a Skyrim feature, so even more embarrassing I didn't notice. 3. Constellation has a few infinite capacity crates, but moving materials to them is a pain. I eventually just made a ship with huge cargo capacity to hold everything, plus a workshop to mod weapons. I could make a personal base to do the same thing. 4. Once you unlock thrusters with first tier Piloting skill, you hold space and use WASD for extra quick maneuvers if used right. I don't know why that skill doesn't explain itself in the description. It's very handy once you know how to use it. 5. The ships grav jump range, usually 16-30 ly, is just the maximum distance between two stars, while fuel determines total trip length through visited stars. 1 unit fuel seems to equal 1 ly of range, so you don't actually need all that much fuel even for very long trips. My ship has 600 fuel and I've used at most, maybe, half that. 6. Ctrl G can copy ship parts, as long as the facility has that part in stock. 7. Double click a ship part to select the whole thing, then hit J to recolor the whole ship. Or you can hold ctrl while clicking for a specific selection of multiple parts. 8. I think the Taiyo 1:1 storeroom comes with a load of beer and meals if you keep its rear wall clear of a connection.
There’s another tier for weapons too but the naming is off in the files so both say advanced but the damage will be higher on one and that one is supposed to be superior
Thank you! The placement of objects drove me crazy!!! I had no idea (there are so many things you learn about this game hours in) there was a way to control the speed of rotation of objects. This is a life saving game changer for me. :D :D :D
Does anyone else feel like the person or persons that developed the outpost building mechanic never played a game before in their lives? I don't understand how anyone could spend more than 5 minutes outpost building without thinking " this is is horrible". Any true gamer, especially builders, would have taken one look at it and said " just do it like every other building game, stop trying to reinvent the wheel. I'm loving playing Starfield but this one aspect is just awful. I hope aod comes out that changes it. You know what I really want from Bethesda? Someone to just explain to me why? Why did you choose to do it like this? Did you actually build with it for any amount of time? It feels lkke it was made by a CAD designer who never played a game at all.
Does the game have some planets that level up. I don't remember any level 75 planets. But I have them now. I unlocked land on 100 planets and visit all systems in my first play through.
I'll never understand why anyone would recommend not building your ship until you're a higher level. Your ship has a progression the same as your character, credits are easy to come by so don't let that stop you.
It was only cheaper for me after I got the first point of Commerce. Before then the registration price in my personal menu and technician/kiosk was the same.
Never register a ship. Sell it without doing so by going to a ship tech guy, sell ship, then go to the ship before the one you want to sell then push A and RB on xbox controller at the same time. It tricks the game. Thank me later 👍
I’m aware to some degree for the weapon spawning on a high lvl planet but will they be the higher tiers or since I’m not lvl 60 ill have to grind for it
3:51 is false. I have almost 500h in the game, always on very hard, and I rarely got any legendary items, and when they did drop, the stats were garbage, compared to the normal ones, that you could buy from the trade authority, for example.
It`s not but what he didn`t say was that lvl of the planet/area is huge factor aswell maybe even biggest. Go run few random buildings in lvl75 planet and you will get bunch of legendaries really fast.
Another thing he didn't mention is that you can save before defeating a high Tier enemy that drops those special weapons. If they don't drop something you want, you can just reload to before you defeat them and it rerolls the special gear drop

Has anyone found vendors that have more than 10k credits for selling loot? I've only been able to get 11k from the TA vendors. I'm tired of having to find a bed or chair to sleep/wait for 48 hours to reset the fracking credits in the vendors. Also capturing ships is nearly useless since you have to register the ship to sell it for slightly more than you registered it for. I'm trying to get enough money to modify my ship but it's so damn slow it's idiotic.
I have only played the game on very hard since the beginning and I am still wishing it was more of a challenge. Definitely wish there was a survival mode, and I'm only using basic weapons that I find I haven't even put any points in my weapons modification at all. I did stumble upon a pistol called Elegance that had a binary trigger that is disproportionately insanely crazy overpowered
The advanced/calibrated etc. is referring to the mods the weapon has. If you go modify a weapon at your workshop you can build these variants, assassins, technophile, all these variants are craftable.
That's not the case. You can find an advanced weapon with no mods and you can fully mod a normal tier weapon and it doesn't change from normal to calibrated, refined, or advanced. I'm at the point of the game where most of the weapons I find are advanced or refined and often have no mods in any of the slots.
@@kyleharper4690 only for armor (spacesuit, helmet, and packs). Weapons only go up to Advanced - at least at this point in the game lifecycle. Although, I found 2 Advanced weapons of the same type, mods and name that had different values. So I'm guessing that there actually is Superior for some weapons just not in named tiers.
As for the Tier (Calibrated, Advanced, etc...) that is determined by your character level, except for a few specific areas/items that are predetermined. The prefixes (Technophile, Assassin, etc...) are determined by the number of mods you've added and the types. I also believe the order may have something to do with it too, but I could be mistaken.
@@williamludwick77 That's not entirely correct. The equipment tier is randomized, but limited by your level. At level 63 I tend to find superior and advanced gear once in a while and you won't get any of those at lower levels, but I still get much more unnamed, refined, and calibrated. As you level up it increases your chance of getting a particular tier of equipment above the 0% chance you start with. The prefixes are not something you can change. They're predetermined themes that will often include mods, but adding all the same mods, (or even maxing out the number of mods) won't add a prefix to a gun, nor will removing mods from a gun with a prefix remove the prefix.
The fish thing. Super annoying. If you’re missing an animal in a biome (coastal) gets you the fish. I abandoned clearing a couple planets till I met the fish underneath Neon and the light bulb went on.
I mean if we’re bragging about play throughs im on 19 with about 450 missions completed… as soon as you said that, I made this comment and exited the video. Nothing in this video that %95 of the people don’t already know I’m guessing.

For guns, ammo, and armor you can place them on a rack or display on your outpost and when you pick them up again the stolen tag is gone.

Armor also has tiers. Above the starting tier are calibrated, refined, advanced and superior.
