In this video I'll share with you the GVM teleprompter that I think will be my new 19" prompter for in studio use moving forward and a simple ten-minute hack you can deploy to make this compete with the $1900 teleprompters for a third of the price!

Galaxy tab S8 ultra is 14.9 inches. So this helped a lot. Thank you
Thanks for the video and hack. Have you tried the baby ballhead adapter? I think it would be way easier than dealing with the grip head. Just a thought. Keep these videos coming. I enjoy them very much! 👏👏
Yea I was just using things I had on hand at the time!
Hello, Congratulations Cool 👍👏👏👏
Thanks for watching!
I just brought that teleprompter last week, has $100. in discount at b&h.
Lovely setup! Does the Arzopa monitor have a function to flip the image if wanting to use it for zoom to show guests and maintain eye line?
I typically use a decimator for that. I’ll need to check the display settings for that one.
@@zephanmoses thanks! Love your content
Hello, thank you for the great hack! Have you figured out a way to secure the monitor properly. I think a follow up video of you actually uring it will be cool 👍
I just use heavy duty double sided sticky tape or velcro from 3M 🙂
Really. nice, thinking of doing the same. I guess with this setup though you're plugging a laptop or other computer into that larger monitor via HDMI and using it. I see a lot of teleprompter software is made for ipads or android tablets, some for computers but seems to be less prevalent. Do you know if there's a way to get the output from a tablet onto the screen so you could have the larger size but convenience of not having a computer? I guess you can control the computer somehow with a wireless mouse from a distance.
I prefer computer so I have an operator that can control speed for the talent on camera. This also allows us to quickly go in and change the script up. But with that said, this model teleprompter didn’t come with the screen. It was made for use with an iPad. You could easily just get an iPad instead. The screen was a secondary purchase.
@@zephanmoses I realize it was made for an ipad but liked what you did to accommodate a larger screen. Definitely may do the same, I'm seeing some large prompters with outdated screens on marketplace being sold inexpensively that could be retrofitted. Thanks again for making this video.
@@robwasnj I will say a 17” screen is worth it. Clients appreciate it a lot. But you can get hdmi output from an iPad.
Great video. Did I miss where you stated what teleprompter software you were using?
I use this one: apps.apple.com/us/app/teleprompter/id417605357?mt=12
Thanks but I'm on Windows.@@zephanmoses
Thank you for this video. Just what I needed. How did it work after you put it all together?
It's been great so far. I think I could've used a screen that's a little bit brighter but after I adjusted the brightness setting that was at 50% by default for some reason it helped a lot.
@@zephanmoses Thanks so much for the feedback. By the way, do you think the glass size on this one is the same as on the GVM TQ LD? I only think it is because the model you hacked since to be too big for and ipad....looks better with a montinor liker yours.
@@jimpiterson4052 I measured the glass on this one to be 17" wide by 16" tall. I'm not sure on the other model though.
@@zephanmoses Thanks so much for taking the time to measure it. I appreciate it.
where will the camera go?
As with all teleprompters the camera goes behind the glass.
I might have missed that part - how did you mount the camera after you removed the back part - thank you for your response
@@salvadorla1 the camera mounts to a tripod like normal. You just push the lens right into the back of the teleprompter.
