My favorite beverage is lemon water, so I buy lots of lemons. I use the peels after squeezing them as a natural rub on deodorant and it works better than anything I've ever used. I learned recently that erythritol gives me bad reactions so stevia is my only sweetener since I'm trying to stay in ketosis. Keto is fantastic!
I recently made the switch from regular diet soda (Diet Dr. Pepper), to stevia sweetened sodas (Zevia, Blue Sky), as well as monkfruit in my coffee. I have to say I really enjoy them!
It's pointless trying to wash pesticides off plants as it's also inside them. Organic is better but we really dont know the history of the farm where organic foods are grown. After 3 years of no pesticides, land is considered organic. (Nevermind the fact that the same dirt had pesticides dumped on it for 50 years prior to that!)
My previous question about erythritol was answered near the end of the video when it was stated that erythritol mixed with carbonation can cause bloating
I am so glad you mentioned pH water! It’s such a common myth that you can change the pH of your body and that there’s health benefits to doing so. I’m glad to see you got the facts straight.

Drinks is a tough one because I want flavor but got to watch out for what flavors they put in the drink. Again, I love that you point out that just because something is healthy, it doesn't mean that it is good for you to have a lot of it, such as coconut and juice. A lot of people think that drinking a lot of fruit is good for you. Again, you taught me a lot and helped me be able to make better choices when it comes to buying drinks. I didn't know that organic hot drinks were important.

Isn't comparing cyanocobalamin to cyanide poison like comparing ketogenesis to diabetic ketoacidocis? The problem is not the presence of cyanide and ketones respectively, but their concentration, right? Or is it legitimately bad to ingest cyanobalamin (b12)?
For inorganic tea one could give the tea bag a quick rinse in hot water, and then steep it a little longer in hot water for the desired strength. I think this would help in ridding some the the pesticide residue that may be on the leaves.

Can you please do a quick vid on acesulfame K? U mentioned how bad it is and how it spikes insulin and kicks u out of a fast but other than the comments at 21:00 in this vid I can’t find anything in ur video library
Stevia is not bitter naturally, I think the process to make it into a liquid form adds bitterness, I have make a stevia juice by taking the leaf and mashing it in a mortar with cold water and it wasn't bitter, but the extracts are bitter, so it must be the process.
Probably my biggest struggle on my keto/fasting journey is that i cannot have diet soda or diet tonic water. I do not understand why the diet drink makers make their products with insulin spiking characteristics that screw up my fasting and blast me out of ketosis. Water, coffee, water with lemon, water with apple cider vinegar..sucks. Help me!
Random question... I tried a 24hr fast. I wasn’t hungry but I was brutally thirsty for something other than water. If I sipped an organic coconut water over the last 12 hrs of the fast (total 18g carbs so 1.5g carb per hour) would it kick me out of the fast ? Thanks so much for your help :)

Unfortunately, in the UK, most sugar free drinks contain aspartame or acesulfame, which as you pointed out, are not good. Difficult to find any soda drinks that are good for you and are keto. I drink a lot of water flavouring and it’s almost impossible to find one that is keto friendly.
I love your video's as they are very informative and well done. Now this may have been asked before, but any possibility of doing a "Keto for Picky Eaters"?
tina duguay look at the ingredients, according to his other video the only fake sweeteners that don’t raise insulin are stevia, erythritol, aspartame, and possibly monkfruit depending on the person. Which is healthiest, probably stevia. But look at the stevia product ingredients, many have maltodextrin. You have to buy the straight stevia powder.

Can you drink matcha on an empty stomach? I have trouble with tannins in tea (black).
Stevia is not bitter naturally, I think the process to make it into a liquid form adds bitterness, I have make a stevia juice by taking the leaf and mashing it in a mortar with cold water and it wasn't bitter, but the extracts are bitter, so it must be the process.
Hi Tom. Can you comment on Bai. Is is good or bad for keto? Thank you.
Any carbs or calories kicks you out of a fast
Tea makes me happy
Once again, Thank You to Thomas for a plethora of information!

Hi can you share more about coffee and which ones are not moldy? Is four sigma tic also organic and non moldy?
Can’t wait for the energy drink reviews. Also lol at astronauts.
I love your video's as they are very informative and well done. Now this may have been asked before, but any possibility of doing a "Keto for Picky Eaters"?
i will love to know what about the flavor that you can add to water. They have a lot now like Mio its a popular one.But is it good for us?? Ty
tina duguay look at the ingredients, according to his other video the only fake sweeteners that don’t raise insulin are stevia, erythritol, aspartame, and possibly monkfruit depending on the person. Which is healthiest, probably stevia. But look at the stevia product ingredients, many have maltodextrin. You have to buy the straight stevia powder.
