I love that soft yellow pot. I also love that it's made in the USA. That has become much more important to me as I've become older. We used to produce so much, now it's all sourced out for cheap labor. That cactus shirt was an awesome find!

That groot terracotta looks like it came from a Chia kit. I probably would have gotten it for my kids. They love their own little growing projects. I'm always doing plant "chores" repotting and checking light, so they learn a lot along the way. I also wanted to tell you, I did it! My njoy pothos is on its way and I'm so excited! Pothos are are SO much fun to grow. I think my favorite item you got was the dark green vintage pot. I definitely would have picked that up. It reminds me of a beautiful vase I saw in the beginning of the video. Live the clear green glass. I love anything that is that dark, natural green color! Thanks so much for the video. I want to go thrifting with you - you find amazing things. I collect vintage pottery and that green McCoy pot is a great find. It’s worth about $45. The pottery with USA on the bottom is Hull, another collectible. The vintage pots look so pretty scattered around the house. Love! 💜

@@ThePinkTrellis Gena, there is some sort of "planter" out there, it's a clay vase thing. I forget the name. You can lash an aroid or bromiliad on there, roots packed in sphagnum. Then you fill the vase part with water, and it soaks through and keeps the roots moist. Why couldn't you do that with a thrift store chia pet? It's designed to function just that way except with chia seeds. That would be so much fun to stick some kind of outrageous plant on the back of Groots head! Or possibly the little plants you had mounted on the bark. The chia pet is self watering.
those handmade pottery glasses at 5:07. I like things like those for little cascading plants like dischidia nummularia. I've been using vintage egg cups but some of my cascaders have outgrown the height of those and I've been looking for something just like those pottery wine glasses. Or the milk glass pedestal planter would work well also for a larger trailing plant. I have an addiction to green McCoy planters. So that one would be a must for mea and what a bargain.
Oh those pottery glasses would have been perfect for that. Next time I see a milk glass pedestal vessel like that one I’m going to get it. It was gone when I went back! I like your idea of putting a trailing plant in it. Like a string of pearls would be a fun experiment 💚💚💚.
