- I may be a little late to the game but frankly I never saw myself doing this because vanities usually sell well for me, however I allowed my friend to influence me into turning this cute vanity into two nightstands and well, let's just say, you'll have to tell me how I did.
As for me, I don't know if I'll do this again, watch why.....

Oh, wow! I am just seeing this video. How cool you did the vanity to nightstands! They came out so pretty! I think this is a great idea because so many people aren't into the 'vanity' look anymore. I think they're beautiful so I love the idea of SAVING them. Yes, a LOTTA work, but worth it! Beautiful! Hey, that hardware is stunning, too!

Sorry, as a furniture artist, I absolutely hate this relatively new trend of ruining a nice, classic piece of furniture like this.
But, you owned it, so you were free to do what you wanted with it.
One day, all the antique and vintage vanities will be unavailable and there will be no way to put them back together.

You did a relatively professional job on them, but personally, I just don't like that practice.
