- This video shows all of the playable & unlockable characters and a full race gameplay of each character in Crash Nitro Kart for PS2, Xbox, Gamecube and GBA. The 16 characters of the roster in this game are: Fake Crash, Crunch, Coco, Crash Bandicoot, Dr. Neo Cortex, N. Gin, Tiny, N. Tropy, Pura, Dingodile, Polar, N. Trance, Nitrous Oxide, Zem, Zam and Velo.

Incredible how this game still has awesome graphics even being an old game.
I always found it funny how despite their names Crash Nitro Kart had a major team mechanic whilst Crash Team Racing... didn't. In hindsight these two names would have made more sense if they were swapped lol
In Crash Team Racing, they did not use nitro karts, but you're probably right, with the addition of the PlayStation 1 version being called Crash Racing Karts. Teams were probably planned for Crash Team Racing, but somehow, they were unable to have it in.

I could never beat Velo as a kid. I’ve unlocked him now but still not beat all of his ghost time trials
FasoOoLi Shami you don’t need to beat his ghosts to unlock him, just beat him in story mode on both sides

The only way to beat Robot Velo, you have to perform the shortcut glitch at his place.
Believe me it saves more time since he does spams a lot.
I did beat him once as a kid and didnt know how to use the bost never knew about them
I had the GBA version, so I was actually surprised how FEW playable characters there are in this version! The GBA version let you play as all the boss racers and even Spyro was an unlockable lol

He might be in Nitro Fueled. But probably not a Grand Prix. Since he is from Crash Bash, I think that he will come with Koala Kong, Nina and Brio in some GP (Pasadena's or someone else)

I am so happy CNK wasn't forgotten.. Everyone likes CTR I didn't grow up with CTR unfortunately but this game I loved.. Was one of my very first few ps2 games, thanks for uploading!

Nitro is kinda underrated and I honestly don’t think it’s trash it just lacks speed and original stuff and if I owned this game I would give it a slight above average score

That’s good question unfortunately he’s was supposed to be cnk nitro kart same with Nina and Rilla Roo but I am disappointed that Rilla Roo wasn’t playable why because Rilla Roo I was expecting to him be cnk nitro kart but he was cut in nitro kart

In my opinion this is still the best looking Crash game on the PS2. Not just graphics wise but also when it comes to the character models. They're spot on and the best iteration we've seen on the PS2. Vicarious Visions knew what they were doing.

I've never understood why the PAL and NTSC versions have different icons for Crunch, N. Gin, Tiny, N. Tropy, Zem, N. Trance, and Polar. The PAL ones are so much better. Too bad they hadn't already switched to the PAL icons when releasing the NTSC version.

25:16 - I love how noisy Team Trance's karts are. Listen to Dingodile and Polar's karts where I fast-forwarded to, and you'll hear what I mean! XD

Currently playing this game and I was wondering what the best characters are. I know that fake Crash isn't good and I know that n. tropy and velo are amazing. But what about all the characters??? It would be very useful to unlock n. tropy.
I never owned this game so I've been looking it up thanks to Nitro-Fueled bringing in characters and tracks from it. Not a bad roster, though Oxide's team is pretty sucky. It's cool that N. Trance was in the game since he was one of the few original things created by the GBA games.
Gee, some of those characters you could barely hear their voice clips (Zam). Also I noticed you cut out a lap's worth of footage for Zem and Zam. Why was that?

This is the first racing game to have anti gravity. The next one to do so was Mario Kart 8 and Mario Kart 8 Deluxe

I still need to beat some of Velo's ghost trials. And I refuse to use Velo to beat those times as it devalues the difficulty since he has all stats maxed out.

In the thumbnail, I see how the characters of each team go from intermediate/leaders, to beginners, to advanced, to the special(?) 4th characters.But why is Velo in the leader's spot, instead of Oxide? I get that he's the emperor and everything, but he's still a secret character. Also Zam is an advanced class, and Zem is a beginner class, surprisingly. Just letting you know.

from my perspective, i undertale N. Sane Trilogy came out a while ago, but Nitro Kart looks a bit more enhanced

Polar sound soo adorable in this game 💗 :3 why they remove the worms of out of time in CTRNF?? These made the track cooler and harder.
I honestly liked the CNK gameplay more than CTR's. Making the reserve system nonexistent is what makes the gameplay a bit more balanced for skilled players who know how to power slide and for those who don't know so much.
I wish they would remaster this! Yeah we have CTRNF but it would be awesome to have this one too.. especially keeping the old levels THE SAME and not get rid of some things which is disappointing.. AND keep it where you can hover or whatever (like on Out of Time)

inferno island, jungle boogie, tiny temple, metor gorge, barin ruins, deep sea during, out of time, clock wompa, thunder stuck, arly lane, arly alley and elicon avenue
When iwqs a little kid i played this on my ps2 and i did not know how to get characters so i would get upset or sad
I remember when I left my Mario kart double dash for crash nitro kart on gamecube, I’m afraid if they would remake crash team racing with online features because people will leave Mario kart 8 deluxe for sure.
(I’m not saying that Mario kart games are trash but the controls are so bad compared with crash racing games, I had so much trouble with drifting on Mk games while on CR games; I had none).

Cutie & Friends Adventures I'm not a fanboy, I just love how CTR and CNK is so much better than MK games. Such as; The story is incredible for **A RACING GAME,** The controls mechanics feels much better and last but not the least is the optimization for the cars is simple and not ridiculous.
Inside drifting in mario kart Wii is really good as well, though I like how you can chain 3 boosts in CNK and you get more boost if you time it correctly. Overall CNK is more fun imo, slightly better tracks and more fair items.
