I used to like it, but I found out that I would be an imbecile if I like the game, because that game is under rated, and the characters do not stick to their true self, and the users from this comment thread also have good points of how terrible this game is, because the races were not fun and kind of boring. I do like just going through one lap in the time trial thing, but it's called "Fast Trial" in that game.

Compared to Mario Kart... this game definitely has better characters. I don't know a lot about Crash Bandicoot, but like- why chickens? The female characters just look so basic it's funny- and a goddamn checkpoint box as a playable character. If that isn't peak game design, I don't know what is.
There are almost all characters from Crash Bandicoot franchise now (some are still missing for example Willie Wumpa Cheeks or Madame Amberly). The Chicken you can say was in Crash Bandicoot 3 (Toad Village level) so I understand that decision :-)
Coco is crash's sister tawna is from crash bandicoot 1 and was crash's girlfriend and the nitro squad are from the original CTR and Nina is cortex's niece
Crash team racing: I got 15 characters. Crash team racing nitro fueled: Hold my 56 characters including Nitro kart characters. Me: Strange back than we didn't know the rest of them.
We played this for so many hours back in the day with friends, multiple consoles and a beer. Seeing this triggers memories. We are trying to get the retro gaming nights back. With games like this. Other favoriet titles were unholy war, teambuddies, Mario kart, smash brothers, bomberman, ssx tricky, 3D pong, timesplitters, siphon filter multiplayer and newer titles are moving out and overcooked.
Haven't played this since I got the platinum trophy some weeks after the release and I was thinking about all the characters they might could add like the Lab Assistant. Pretty cool to see that they did, I should replay it again sometime.
I remember Crash 4 was made after that game. It seems like when the companies start a new Crash game, they do not go back to the old ones to add new stuff in. I even expected a DLC level for Crash 2, but after making Crash Team Racing: Nitro-Fueled, they would not go back to add a DLC level to Crash 2. Some of the characters can be unlocked in story, the rest can be obtained in the pit stop where you can optionally buy wumpa coins or grind them for free :) which isn’t too much of a hassle either

If Crash Team Racing and Nitro Karts roster is all scrunched up into one roster, how does it make sense for Dingodile, Polar, and Pura? These characters are normal for Team Racing, but are brainwashed by N. Trace in Nitro Karts. Normal Dingodile uses Uka Uka, and Normal Polar and Pura use Aku Aku, but when all of them are brainwashed, they use the green mask. Also, did some of those characters have stats that changed in Nitro Karts? If I remember correctly, it's been done to Crash Bandicoot, Coco Bandicoot, Neo Cortex, N. Gin, and Pura. I might be wrong, but correct me if I'm wrong.

They left out Ripto. I know they cannot get alot of Spyro characters, because it would have to be called Crash and Spyro Team Racing: Nitro Fueled if they got more Spyro characters, and that's impossible to change the name by now.

It's a joke character. It started as a meme on Reddit when people were talking about what characters could be in the game, and someone said the Iron Checkpoint Crate should be in the game, so Beenox just decided to actually put it in.
@@stormranger528 it seems like you aren't aware of engine swap. you can change the class to any type regardless of who you choose. when you change a class, it does not reset when you choose another character, even when you restart the game. if the class is set to "standard", every character you choose will have their original class

Crash Bandicoot is not owned by Sony anymore. I think Sony still has Ratchet & Clank. I do not know where Jak & Daxter went. For Ratchet & Clank and Jak & Daxter to be in, the Crash company does need permission from the companies that made them. Crash and Spyro would have been cool for PlayStation All-Star Battle Royale, but they could not be in, because Sony no longer owned them. They could have met Jak, Daxter, Ratchet, and Clank.

It's a joke character. It started as a meme on Reddit when people were talking about what characters could be in the game, and someone said the Iron Checkpoint Crate should be in the game, so Beenox just decided to actually put it in.

@@stormranger528 it seems like you aren't aware of engine swap. you can change the class to any type regardless of who you choose. when you change a class, it does not reset when you choose another character, even when you restart the game. if the class is set to "standard", every character you choose will have their original class

Crash Bandicoot is not owned by Sony anymore. I think Sony still has Ratchet & Clank. I do not know where Jak & Daxter went. For Ratchet & Clank and Jak & Daxter to be in, the Crash company does need permission from the companies that made them. Crash and Spyro would have been cool for PlayStation All-Star Battle Royale, but they could not be in, because Sony no longer owned them. They could have met Jak, Daxter, Ratchet, and Clank.
