I disagree. The animations are way too stretchy in the remake, and it often takes away the subtle element of the original that made the game's world and its characters more grounded. Uka Uka is one of the most egregious examples, as he's way too bouncy and animated compared to his still, imposing and diabolical ps1 counterpart.

In case you're wondering why some of them are "less aggressive", the explanation is Japanese censorship. They had to make two versions of the original game because of censorship, and to avoid this, they made these "less aggressive" animations (Crash turning into an angel instead of "dying", eyes removed from explosions, gets drowned way faster, etc.)
Eyes are still there, they are just spread out more when they land, look closely at wider shots, also I think drowning is quicker, like a lot of other deaths, is so player does not have to wait long time to start playing again.

I love how Crash's expressions look so much different in both. The remastered one is like "yeah, I've died so many times already, let's get this over with". In the original, it's more like "Oh my...I have made a grave mistake." 2:00

N sane trilogy sadly is shit. They remade it instead of remaster. Thats lazy as hell. They did more work to make a excuse to do less work overall. They coulda just changed graphics so they had time to add a bunch of new levels,byt no. They had to copy the old games,but glitchy
