I couldn’t agree with you more! When you compare the quality of shows like this and earlier SNL, there’s just no comparison to the garbage that’s coming out on television today. Not only television, but Hollywood in general. I hate to use this cliché, but there’s definitely been a “dumbing down“ in western culture. I had hoped that technology would bring about a Renaissance in comedy and music and film. Instead, it’s an able to lotta very talent less people to achieve success. I can’t think of anyone that’s around today. That’s even remotely in the same category of talent as people like Martin short Phil Hartman, or Jan hooks. Thanks for watching!
