AWESOME CAR! One of my all time favorites! I had a 70 V-code Roadrunner for 9+ years. 440 6bbl, 4 speed then a Passon 5 speed w/4.10 Dana, 292/.509 cam, headers...what a RIDE!
How he spins it to 8300 is amazing….would have been interested in the bottom end
Chris from small town Saskatchewan. Amazing car.
Darcy is cool! Like his attitude, and what beautiful Mopar!
Coolest race car on the planet and Darcy is a great guy! Thanks again, Bobby.
I'd have to give that honor to Ben & Dave Wenzel for the coolest race car on the planet but Darcy's ride is definitely a cool ride!
I'm also from alberta and working on a 64 savoy. Small world. This guy seems awesome
Beautiful car, and very impressed with the build. It is a very important car in history and his changes to make it legal were done very well.
I owned one of these and drove it on the street, it would not burn rubber it just launched, fastest car on the street, at a signal I would pull into the parking lane and by the the intersection I would pull over into the slow lane because I was that far ahead
Hi Bobby, great job on the interview, thank you Darcy Clarke for doing a great job on your 1964 Plymouth savoy see you at Pomona 2023
THANK YOU SO MUCH!!! I LOVE MAX WEDGE MOPARS!!! SO BEAUTIFUL AND THANKS FOR SHARING!!!
Glad you enjoyed it!
I had a 64 Plymouth Belvedere four-door with a 426 Max wedge and a 4-speed it was a special order car the man that owned it work for a Chrysler Plymouth dealer in the town that I lived in. And when he passed away his wife drove it until she was no longer able to and I bought the vehicle from her and I'm here to tell you it was faster than a fury and would pass everything but a gas station I eventually sold the vehicle to a gentleman that still has it today and that was 30 years ago
Wow that’s a cool story! It sounds like it was an awesome car.
I'm not a Mopar guy, but this car is cool.
Great interview with a great guy..

Gorgeous car, very impressive!
That car is worth some big money, wow! Great guys! Did you do a interview on his A/SA?
Love it!
Bobby, didn't the factory race cars have a plaque or sticker around the glovebox that stated, Off road use only" ? ... Great video! I love the old Fury's, Belvidere's and Polara's.
Good question. Darcy may be able to answer that one.
They had a sticker that was on the windshield as well, I have all the stickers I have not put them on.
Cool race car...
I had one the same color but was a Hemi B/stock
"So what do you do for work?" Blah blah blah... I'm loaded!! Lol, big money cars and beautiful art that
I am far from loaded, I have worked 40 years to be able to afford to build and race these cars.
Expensive part is racing fuel. @@RedDoorRacing
I will take you on in D/A corvette 454 quaderjet carb!! 10 :5 compression !!!
Sure where do you want to race?
Nice !
My 63 Savoy is a real Max wedge car . But was Low compression all steal car. I wish it was aluminum front end car .😂
He cant own a mopar, his hair isnt long en9ugh
Very nice work. well done.
B MOPAR BADEST MOTOR ON THE PLANET REVS LIKE A SMALL BLOCK IN FACT IN SOME VERSIONS IS LIGHTER ROTATING ASSEMBLY THEN A SMALL BLOCK . SHORT STROKE B MOTOR BAD TO THE BONE
Wow interesting to know.
This engine is an RB engine not a B engine and my Bob weight is not even close to what a small block would be.
