I just bought a Himalayan and it was in large part due to Noraly. Her adventures convinced me it would be a perfect bike for me in Alaska. I hope I get to see her here when she arrives in my neck of the woods next summer. And I'm enjoying seeing what your experiences are as well. Thank you.

      Hi Keith,
I come from a long line of country folk and got a bit of the gypsy in me too:) I do love our native land. A major illness made me embrace life and not let fear get in the way of things I wanted to do and experience and set me on a path to conquer and overcome those fears too. The last one is hopping on that bike and going for very long journeys overseas where they ride on the wrong side of the road and speak in a foreign tongue!

      Hi Teresa,
If you get the Himalayan it will do everything apart from bomb along and superbike speeds. It's not a super bike but for riding the lanes, B roads and most A roads it's more than upto the job. Its a great little bike and very economical to purchase and run and also very easy to ride. OK on your Ridgeway circular walk. I know the route well.

Its not a fast bike so don't expect to be tearing along the highway at 90, but if you relax into the ride its super stable and comfortable. and the 24.5bhp motor is very tractable and loves to plod. Seems happiest around 3 to 4000rpm and I reckon it will cruise nicely at 60ish mph maybe a tad more. But its a bike for travelling exploring and adventure

Good work 👍 If I had the funds I’d definitely purchase the Himalayan to use during the winter months to get out and about. My two bikes never come out during the winter and stay covered up in the garage meaning I miss out when the weather breaks as it did for you. With the Himi being lighter, rugged and less expensive to repair if an accident occurs I to would take the opportunity to potter around the lanes exploring without fear of damaging the bike. Keep up the good work 👏👏

Thanks! I enjoyed your ride around the Cotswolds. I lived in that area for a few years (Abingdon), so it was nice to have a look around again.
I hope to ride my bike around that area sometime next year, as I still have friends and family nearby. Just need the summer back, so I can ride down from Macclesfield :-).
I agree with your comments about smaller bikes - I went the Honda CB500X route.

Lovely video WM. I don’t think it’s that necessary to go abroad with all the beauty we have here in the U.K.
There’s the rest of the Cotswolds such as the hotspots of Bourton on the Water, Chipping Campden, also Forest of Dean etc etc. I’m sure your viewers in other parts of the world would appreciate seeing our scenery.
Hope you manage to get out on Chugg during nice winter days.
All the best and stay safe.

Im thinkin we are about the same age mate..good on ya. I'm also an Itchy boots follower..she slays me. Apparently we are not alone in our admiration..almost 300,000 peeps follow her. Im stuck here in the great white north of Saskatchewan, Canada..4 or 5 month riding season...spend winters living vicariously through people who don't live in the artic...maybe a move is in order..lol.

LOL I'm sure there are advantages to living where you are but I don't envy the cold and short riding season.

I´ll soon be 72 years old and physical problems have forced me to quit driving my bike. (sold) Instead I have a moped, Yamaha Why, which I drive all the year around. Here in Sweden the winters has been mild the last years which have made it possible! Thinking of getting me a Go Pro too, cause sometimes I do rides like You Wiltshire Man! Nice to follow You!

I’m one of those men who only takes his Gs out on nice days - Itchy puts us all to shame, though she does inspire us to try that little bit harder.
Enjoy your vlogs, though you eyes aren’t as pretty as hers!
    Ride safe

I have to agree about Itchy's eye's. Wow, they are beautiful! And don't worry Itchy puts me to shame too. Sofar all I've managed are local rides and coffee shops too. But I hope that will change in the new year

Wiltshire man and his inexhaustible supply of gopros left on Cotswolds walls. :D Great video on what’s becoming a very popular bike. At 4K you cant go wrong on value especially as RE have seemed to have ironed out the original glitches. I think your channel continues to go from strength to strength and I look forward hopefully to another combined walk in 2020. Peace, my friend.

Thanks Bill. What most folk don't know is that I am infact a multi millionaire and this is how I can afford to leave the gopros behind. I put them into bluetooth mode so after the shot I ride back to within a few meters of the camera, my divice instantly downloads the clip the I bugger off.
Recently got a fine for littering the countryside with Hero7 Blacks. Ofcourse I didn't mind in the least. It was only a grand:)
LOL I wish. Loving the bike Bill. Are you going to get one?

I can tell from the video you are enjoying the Himalayan and it is a brilliant bike. It does get better as you pile the miles on. Try the 98 octane mine seems to like it more than the 95. Safe riding

I rode my KTM RC8 down through Slovenia, Croatia and Bosnia using B roads wherever possible-even rode a few green lanes on it.
Then took my Himalayan through Spain to France via the Pyrenees, back through them to Portugal, through Portugal and back to Spain. All on B roads and back lanes. Fantastic. Tagged onto a group of 6 french registered Ducatis on one 15 mile mountain pass, and was keeping with them until we started going up hill, which was when they slowly pulling away from me.
Both trips made me aware of one thing though. Saw maybe 2 or 3 GS BMW's on the roads we rode on, but saw loads in the towns. Presume that they got there on the A roads and motorways.
Love the Cotswolds, but at this time of year I much prefer riding here in Spain-sunshine and warmth.

Luvly video on a great motorcycle. Seems a very smooth ride and the suspension will probably bed in a bit with a few miles put on the machine. It's not necessary to do any off roading to prove anything just enjoy the road. That bike will do it no problem anyway. Safe motoring to you Sandy lol
