Any idea how well does it hold up over time? Does extreme heat (100 +) cause degradation? Is this a new product? Does anyone know how it looks after 5 years?

Nice work. Next, I'll be looking for a more damaged sidewalk concrete repair video. Breakaways, short of complete replacement and that kind of thing. Very informative video guys. Cheers!
A tip for using a sprayer; Be sure that the sprayer has a pressure relief valve. Normal valve will open at approx 40 lbs. Take an auto or bicycle tire valve stem, drill a hole to accomodate the valve stem, put the valve stem inside the sprayer and pull through the hole. The hole should be toward the top of the sprayer above the liquid level. Set an air compressor at 30-35 lbs and fill.
@@LeggariProducts Also, remove the tape before it completely dries. Same concept when painting a car. Either the tape becomes too hard to remove or it will remove some of the material you laid down.
That’s a great idea! I’ve wished I could pump my sprayer with a compressor, but didn’t know how to make a valve that would work (one way). That’s great advice. Thanks.
As someone that's newish to pressure washers and has never seen or heard of a pressure release valve for one... Your description while interesting and detailed enough for anyone that has ever seen a pressure release valve..... I have no idea where on earth you are describing to put one😂.
@@Smokey420Greenleaf Not something they did wrong on the job. Look closer and you'll see those are marks that are actually the concrete itself. Plus, they're using a brush to match the pattern on the slab which originally had a brushed look to it for better grip. The color will match the rest of the surrounding concrete as it ages and sees vehicle/foot traffic and inevitable dirt lol
The video was great - and very professionally done. You guys did an excellent job overall (narration, material application, thorough description of the tools used at each stage of the process)...and the end-result looks great! Pressure washing, taping at least twice, 3 coats of product, followed by 3 coats of sealer, and the requisite drying times between each coat. Plus, the labor component of at least two (and possibly three) people...in addition to the cost of the materials themselves. I couldn't help but to wonder about a cost-comparison between resurfacing that same area - and the cost of breaking out and replacing the concrete. Have you created a cost-comparison? As for myself, my motivation for carefully watching the entire video, was because the concrete in my 3-car garage (from the garage door...progressing two feet inward) is severely eroded and pock-marked due to road salt and slush that melted and fell from the vehicles (in Michigan). So, I'm evaluating my options to deal with this very pitted surface. How does your product hold-up in northern winter conditions? Will it maintain adhesion, or spall and delaminate? Once, again - great job, and great video!
So true! Huge difference between living in the frozen north and living in points south. Then again I don't have to deal with hurricanes and earthquakes.
Wow!!!! Great details and explanation how to do this job and just wondered….. how is your back pain??? I am already exhausted and tired jut to looking at you. I will like call you to do all this! Thanks for your video. I enjoyed it! Good luck
As someone with over forty years in the concrete business, I cringe every time I see a video of guys working with cement products while wearing shorts. Cement burns are a real thing. Also when pouring dry cement a face mask should be worn to protect against silica dust.
Did a reseal to a smaller section of driveway sidewalk with $10 pail of quickcrete a few years ago. Removed the loose stuff with a broom, hosed it down and mixed material to soupy texture. Used a hand trowel to spread and finished with a seven inch asphalt brush. One coat has lasted three years. A down and dirty option compared to this time consuming effort. It looks fine, not close to the final outcome here but it is just a sidewalk.
Thanks for the video. We all need to understand that the concrete overlay is the cosmetic part of the process not the structural part. So with any cosmetics the process will wear out and need to be redone. Just like cosmetics for people they wear out over time, weather and other things. So will this process.
Hi there. Thank you so much for the informative video. I was just wondering, the concrete in my garage is chipping similar to the sidewalk shown at the beginning of the video. Would you recommend that I use this method for the concrete inside my garage? or is there a totally different method when it comes to inside concrete? Thanks again.
Is this just plain concrete overlay? Or does it have self leveling epoxy in it as well? Can this be used on a concrete slab that has cracked and is uneven to make a smooth, level surface again?
Nice job! Looks damn good IMO. Better than brand new.. No doubt about that. But I'm wondering how durable it is. Do you have any videos showing what a slab you repaired 5, 10 or 15 years ago looks like today so we can judge for ourselves how well your method stands the test of time, so to speak? And could you tell us some of the pitfalls to watch out for?
One guy said just use Quikcreate but in my experience and if you live in areas like Utah where snow gets everywhere, I have seen people here using Quikrete and they have to repeat themselves all over every summer or two, literally. I have also seen other people using similar solutions like this and they typically last 10+ years. I'm sold!
It seems doable. You make it look so easy. But I'll need to do four 6'x10' slabs of driveway. But some parts of those slabs have cracked and fallen down, up to an inch or two below the driveway. Does this system level everything out, or does that situation require more intensive repair methods?
For that kind of slab movement you have massive underlying issues under that slab. Look at where your downspouts are draining and check to make sure it's finally settled and not moving more. Once it's stable that's when you can look at options to resurface it. Concrete levelling grinding and filling followed by a epoxy finish would be an idea. I'm curious to know if this method works in areas where temps are expressly cold and how well ice may stick to it
I know no one likes talk money and I know every part of country is different, but I think would be great and helpful if you did a video about what you can charge for concrete overlay concrete repair epoxy countertops etc.
By the way, that part is the city sidewalk even though it's right in the homeowners driveway. They are not allowed to do anything to it, neither are you without a city bond & notifying the city before any work is performed on it. That may not be true in the city you're in but it stands true in most places, you might want to let your customer know that because most of them don't know that either, big fines! They can paint the driveway with anything their heart desires from the expansion joint on. They could have the approach torn out & replaced if they want after notice is given to the city & it has to be a contractor with a bond on file with the city but they won't let anyone put a bandaid on it, tear out and replace is the only way.
If I was scared all my life I'd have never raced Speedway for one thing, I live my life on the edge even still, only I quit going to jail, speaking of which, the fines they throw at you for doing stuff like that would be worse than jail! They come down hard on violations in construction trades that make traffic citations look like pussy shit, I ain't kidding, it's off the hook these days brother.
All your work is awesome. As a do it right the first time guy I see quality work is done on all your projects. I have seen numerous videos you all post and are champion videos. Keep that shit up!! I will be an on going customer in the future.

Lol @1:09:02 the cops showed up to see what’s going on. Lol Also, are you able to put pigments into this overlay? How UV stable is this product? Great video.
One thing I see with trades cleaning concrete or any other surface with a pressure washer is just using the various standard spray nozzles. I use a floor cleaner on the pressure washer. There are many benefits. The main two are, the reduced time which can increase profits and a better cleaned surface after. Then, clean the concrete surface with the nozzle.
I'm wondering if they did their driveway after that. They did a very nice job, but not sure why they'd make it so nice with a driveway like that. I wonder how slippery that would be in the winter time.
D B I have a concrete driveway and the guy put sealer on. I think he must have put it on too thick because it was like a skating rink the first year. Ours also has a broom finish.

Once it's stable that's when you can look at options to resurface it. Concrete levelling grinding and filling followed by a epoxy finish would be an idea. I'm curious to know if this method works in areas where temps are expressly cold and how well ice may stick to it
We had the whole driveway redone professionally.

And that's how I like to clean stuff! Get that proper adhesion preparation !
I know no one likes talk money and I know every part of country is different, but I think would be great and helpful if you did a video about what you can charge for concrete overlay concrete repair epoxy countertops etc.
@jubjub247 that was a stupid comment.
@jubjub247 and yet you asked the hooker "how much for a ____".
A true pro! Not a drop on the black shoes!
How deep of a hole can this fix? My driveway has some large cracks and places where chunks have come out. But some of it would cover fine.
Здоровья тебе. И долгих лет жизни. Вы лучшие. Спасибо.!!!
Спасибо! Мы очень ценим это.
Вы ЛУЧШИЕ.!!!
1:09:02 - Karen must’ve complained about Leggari’s crew not social distancing... 👀😂
no it was ken and barbie across the street
Who is Karen?
2 Office guys doing the jobs
I would remove the tape before it completely dries.
i kinda like it with the gravel exposed
Looks great! Minimal info (coverage, shipping, durability, shipping estimates, examples, etc...) on website though :(
Great explanation, very thorough
Thank you!
Nice job,do you need a permit to repair the city's sidewalks?
Amazing work guys
Agreed , thought the same thing ...it's city property
🤔 most likely yes but also every municipality is different sometimes developments are different. This could even be a private gated community.

look out Brotha!!.... You Can't be Scared all your Life!
Thank you so much! We really do appreciate your feedback and loyalty. Feel free to send us a review at 1-844-LEGGARI (534-4274) or customerservice@leggari.com if you would like.
Thank you!
Lol @1:09:02 the cops showed up to see what’s going on. Lol
Also, are you able to put pigments into this overlay?
How UV stable is this product?
Great video.
White portland one yes. Pigments don't do well in grey unless you want a dark colour then grey is fine.
Very professional job. if i not mistaking this is Florida? 🤔
Great teamwork fellas
Thank you!
Yes, we get below zero
Thanks for the class!! Amazing 🤩
Thanks for watching!
