Hi when you buy the dbl did it have a home in the floor?
did you buy this as a double unit?
So I want my guinea pig cage as long as yours, but no need for the bottom. So what would you suggest...? Awesome videos btw!

Hi pugpibblehedgie! I LOVE LOVE LOVE ur video! Gorgeous guineas aswell! Abs SUPERB CAGE! I’m really wanting to buy a “critter/ferret nation double cage” for my 2 chinchillas then ADD other ferret nations onto it to MAKE IT WIDER & TALLER like yours. Do u know r the critter nations taller than the ferret nations? Someone advised me to get a ferret nation as they’re virtually the same as the critter nation. Would u say it’s quite straight forward to build the critter nation cages? I’ll chk all my measurements where it’ll b situated in my bedroom then I’ll watch your fab vid again! Big thanks Faye Xxx
The Ferret Nation’s are the exact same size as a Critter Nation :) the only difference is that FN’s have 1 inch bar spacing and CN’s have 1/2 inch bar spacing.
You cannot connect a critter to a ferret nation. They are different in height and the barspacing is really different as well.
All Living Things small animal cage at Petsmart is what you said it is. It's the same exact cage made by the same company but is named and packaged differently for petsmart. I have this cage for my sugar gliders and purchased it online when it went on sale(got it for $150 including tax) and then picked it up in store.
Also for anyone interested Petco now carries the double critter nation.

I'm really enjoying your vlogs :) The Critter nations look amazing too. Being able to connect them together in that way makes them really quite versatile.

Could you have guinea pigs in a two story critter nation?
No, guinea pigs are terrestrial and need floorspace, not height :)
PugPibbleHedgie so I have three guinea pigs right now and they are in a C&C cage is there any other type of cages that will work I’ve been trying to find some but they all seem to small
C&C cages tend to work best (:

Love your set up. Could this set up work as one big cage for a bird? Triple up. No shelves. Then 3 single add ons on top?
Bilquis Wadoodi I know this is an old comment, but I checked the same thing and found you can take all the shelves and the dividing floor out - hopefully my little bird will enjoy it when it arrives! So hard to find large cages for small parrots- especially ones with horizontal bars for climbing! Hopefully this helps anyone else having this idea...

Ayden Heal it comes with the single. You can’t take it off. If you want, you can just buy the critter nation add on because it doesn’t come with a stand.

If you add coroplast to the sides, it’ll be fine!
So I was thinking if I buy just two single critter nations.the bottom half and then put them side -by-side and then take out that one side of the two of them and then make it one long one that would still work right ?

my hedgehog has been barely eating since i added another kitten food to his diet. I changed it back to what he was eating before but he has not been eating quite as much as he was before. what do i do?
It may have upset his stomach. Give him some time to adjust back to his old food and if he still isn't eating at least a tablespoon a night, I'd get him into a vet to have him looked over.
thank you! for the first night that he was back to his old food, he ate nothing, but the second night i mixed in a few cat treats and he ate the whole bowl! tonight i am gonna take out the treats and see if he eats it. thanks for the help!love your videos
What do I do
Use something else. There are plenty of other cages hedgehogs can use.

I just recently build a c&c cage for my rabbit and he loves it! Maybe order some c&c grids online, or buy them at Bed Bath and Beyond.
I built my bunny a 28 inch by 42 inch cage extension with the grids (14 inches tall with a top) for just $20
I seen these are now $150 for prime members, do they drop in price again before the holidays by chance? If so I'll wait for it to drop again.

I'm getting my hedgehog soon and I happened to find a critter nation at a yard sale but the only problem is that I'm a bit worried my hedgehog will be scared of all the rattling the cage does. The cage is in brand new condition but it still is loud anytime I open the doors or move it.
+Laney Fisher It'll be fine with time. Hedgehogs need to get used to noises so avoiding them will only make them more sound sensitive :)

Weekly for the weighing, nails should be done whenever they're needed.

How difficult was it to put the cage together? I had ordered a double for my rats
It was pretty easy! Make sure to have a rubber mallet on hand, that'll make it much easier. :)
I'm considering getting a double critter nation cage and getting rats again my daughter is asking for pets and she's showing responsibility. I loved having rats. do you think four would be ok?
if you google rat cage calculator it will tell you how many rats will fit in your cage all you have to do is type in the dimensions of the cage.
DCN can fit 6 rats
i was wondering for your hedgehogs when you order the critter nation on amazon, i already have the bottom piece, but is the add on separate? i have two hedgehogs and i want it to be like your cages.

If you get the single it just has the bottom level and base. If you get the add-on it has no base.
