do you know if it is possible to get an add on unit to keep the cages separate? i have one very aggressive rat that cannot be caged with any others but I wanted to stack his cage on top since my apartment is small and I don't have space to do side by side
I think it would be possible! The floor part it comes with has a hole to connect and since it doesn’t come with a top you’ll have to use your current top up there but you could zip tie some hardware mesh over the hole on the floor and turn the pan backwards to avoid curiosity! I think it’s definitely possible just some diy and creativity! :)
@@alastormarie9553 thank you so much for the speedy reply to my comment! i emailed Midwest about it and asked if there was some way to order certain parts of the cage and they turned me down :( i’m thinking the add on might be my best option :)
Do you know if these parts are modular such that if were to buy a Ferret Nation add-on unit, I could swap parts and use the FN panels as the bottom unit and the Critter Nation panels I currently have as the top unit? I think the FN cage bars will work better for my screw-on food and water bowls. TIA.
The only thing I hate about those newer plastic ramps, is that they don't HOOK on. They expect us to use the Velcro pieces. And my ferrets seem to wanna chew on anything velcro. I had to use zip ties instead, cuz they kept unlatching the ramps, biting at the velcro. lol
Oh no! Luckily my ferrets haven’t show an interest but I don’t like how slippery they are even with the fleece ramps! I felt like my ferries has more grip on the metal ones with the fleece liner over it.
@@alastormarie9553 ahh so it just comes with the side parts??? Could I buy a double and sell some of it as an add on to create a single? Just I’ve seen a double for sale but only need a single. But if the add on is only side pieces could I take them from the double and keep the roof and base? Thanks!
The Cage door on the Add on Cage is not closed all the way or not put in evenly during the put together.... Check your Right side Cage Door of you Add On sweetie....
I think one of your ferrets wanted to come out 😂
She’s such a stinker! Haha

hi whats the white cage at the side? i just wished CN comes in white color..
That is a ferplast 2 story tower ferret cage. It’s just a lot harder to clean and decorate than the critter nations.
Thank u so much for your review
Of course!

Had to make my own fleece liners as well, cuz my girl figured out the ramp covers had velcro too lmao.

Can you use the add on as a cage itself? I know it doesn’t have a stand but with a tray at the bottom could it be a cage on its own
Unfortunately not because it doesn’t come with a roof top piece or base/floor. It’s specifically designed as an add on.
